Description of Work: Mr. Prince strengthened our basement stairs which were coming loose from years of wear. He's a little hard to get a hold of, but we would certainly contact him in the future if we need a handyman.

Description of Work: A true craftsman... and a really nice guy! Our job was on the small side- crafting a mantle for a fireplace- but he obviously took great care in the finished product. (We dropped off the mantle and saw a gorgeous, wood canoe that he had made. You need crazy ninja skills to create something like that!!!) I would recommend for any woodworking project. He's talented and meticulous to the last detail.

Description of Work: Used Mr. Prince's services several times. His work was outstanding in every way. He is in demand. He did a wide range of small repairs as I relocated, even cutting down a bench. It looked like a new piece of furniture.

Terrible response
Description of Work: Called for an estimate. Prince showed up the same day looked at the work and said he would email a proposal the next day. Two weeks later and numerous phone calls in which he promised an estimate to be forthcomming it was never received. We never received any followup phone calls from Prince explaining why proposal was never forthcomming.

Response from PRINCE CONSTRUCTION
He was correct in his description of our contact. I looked at the work in question the day prior to my leaving the state to visit a loved one in the hospital. His bid was delayed by my hurriedness to finish other work before leaving town. I do apologize that I was so tardy in my response and the anxiety that was created. This has been my only report submitted with lower than an "A" overall rating. *I failed to make the point that the member and I never contracted to do business. While there was some difficulty in getting the estimate/bid, I believe his report was a little premature and could have quite damaging effects. I hope that other members will look at all of my customer reports and not judge me on this one (literally)bad report. Thank you.

Description of Work: Replaced exterior basement door, removed cracked ceiling wall board, kitchen-repaired floor joist above, replaced ceiling wall board, finished & painted. Replaced garage door opener & trim install. Adjusted latch from storm door. Two window well covers installed (not in original estimate). He installed a new ceiling fan that I bought for replacement in one bedroom. He did not charge for this.
