Amy listed our house for rent and for sale in March of 2015. We really anticipated having new tenants move in at the beginning or mid April. Amy handled all the inquiries, applications and credit checks on potential applicants. She always gave us feedback from every showing to keep us informed. One day she called and said she got an offer on our house to buy! We were completely surprised but of course extremely happy. Amy was able to sell our house at the price we needed to sell it for and in a timely manner; we were able to settle in May! Amy was always in constant contact with us and the buyers realtor through every phase of the process. If a problem came up- and they usually do when selling a home; Amy was on top of the situation right away and handled it in a professional and timely manner. She made the whole selling a home a breeze for us-I felt like all we did was show up for settlement to sign the paperwork. Through this whole process I realized how dedicated and compassionate Amy is about her career as a realtor. I realized how much time she dedicates to her clients and how she manages every last details to make sure the job is done. She is extremely professional, has many years of expertise in her field and probably one of the most kind hearted people you will ever meet. I can't express how pleased and grateful we are for Amy's commitment through the entire process. We appreciate her hard work and dedication more than she will ever know. Amy was Amazing! One of her many talents is staging-couldn't have sold it without her! Also, we worked well together in determining a price that would sell it quickly as it had been a rental and we didn't want it on the market for long. Amy provided excellent direction and it was sold in 7 days at a price that everyone involved was a winner-can't beat that!! She is very upbeat, ethical, and super friendly! Amy was quite simply, awesome! We have bought and sold 6 other homes and Amy was by far the very best realtor that we have every worked with. From the first time we reached out to her over Angie's list, it was clear that working together was going to be a pleasure. She responded immediately to our email despite the fact that she was on vacation in Disney World with her family. Upon her return and on our first trip into town, Amy very quickly honed in on our taste and helped us find the perfect home in a very short period of time. From there, she worked hard to make the process excessively easy given that we were not local to the area. I knew from the first time she set foot in our house that Amy was the right agent. She was negoitable on price, and 'spot-on' with staging advice. Amy was very easy to work with, and largely due to her pricing advise and marketing, we had a full price offer after 21 days on the market! We couldn't be more pleased. Amy is the best!

Amy is amazing! I'm not actually sure if she ever sleeps... She went above and beyond in helping us find the home that was right for us. She is patient and helpful and gives her honest opinion which is something I really appreciate. She made us feel like we were her only clients and was often times available very quickly. Buying a home, especially a first home, is confusing, frustrating, exciting and overwhelming all at the same time. Amy eased us through the entire process and made us feel comfortable and confident in the large undertaking of becoming homeowners.

Amy Faust said that the wallpaper that we had in the foyer and hallway, the dining room, powder room and kitchen were obsolete and needed to be removed and the walls painted. She gave us a list of several individuals on Angie's list that did this work. We did have the wallpaper removed and all the rooms listed above painted. This made a great improvement in the staging of our home. Without her help we would still be trying to sell the house with all of the wallpaper intact.

Amy was amazing. Within one week she put a contract in for us on a new home and had our house listed and sold! We found a home and had her put a contract in immediately for us. She worked fast and was in constant communication between us and the sellers. We also had her list our house after clinching the contract on our new home. She came in and gave us great pointers on how to make our house appeal to new buyers. We followed her advice and grabbed a couple simple things like some plants and cleaned some closets. She came over one evening bringing several small items and strategically placed them in our home to stage it. Our place looked like a model home. She also had an open house scheduled for the the first weekend. Our house sold in 5 days at full asking price! She was very personable, very knowledgable, very outgoing, and very motivated to help us buy and sell our home. Best experience with buying and selling a home that I have ever been a part of. She made it a walk in the park and seamless transaction for us. Highly recommend Amy to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent their property.

Amy gave us advice on getting the house ready for sale and did a great job getting the word out there. Our house sold within one week. She then took us to see MANY possible new homes and always made great recommendations and pointed out important features or things we might want to be aware of throughout the process. She did everything possible to make the process go as smoothly as possible both with the sale and purchase. My family has used Amy's services a number of times and we recommend her to all our friends.

Amy was wonderful. She made excellent suggestions for how to get my house ready for the market. As a testament to her knowledge and skill, my house was under contract in under a week! She also helped me negotiate the return of a deposit for some yard work that ended up being unnecessary because my house sold so quickly. Amy is friendly, professional and always had my best interests in mind. I only wish I had another house for her to sell!

Amy was absolutely the perfect person to work with us in the purchase of our first home. She provided great suggestions, listened to what we wanted, was VERY responsive, both by text and email, and when she was on vacation, still responded to emails, but also had another agent fill in to show us some houses. She was always on time and looked professional and she REALLY helped us with the pros and cons of the various houses, especially since it was our first time. Most importantly, she felt like a friend through the process -- someone who would be honest with you and tell you what you needed to know, but also took what we wanted into account as well. We found a great house, she was AMAZING at both the inspection and at closing, walking us through the confusing elements of both and, when we had a problem with some work that was supposed to be done by the sellers that appeared to be done incorrectly, she was VERY much on top of it, in spite of the fact that, technically, she was done with her part of the job, and even offered to go to the house and wait for the vendor to come by (luckily we didn't need to ask her to do that!) And she gives great restaurant recommendations too! HIGHLY recommend Amy (and her husband Jeff, who walked us through the mortgage process as our mortgage broker, which my significant other handled mostly, but he seemed to be happy with him too!)

We chose to put an offer in on the second house we looked at, which was scary to say the least. We just know that this house was meant to be for us. Amy reassured us and guided us through the process like a pro. We couldn't have asked for a better home buying experience. I found Amy on Angie's List. I am from Michigan and I didn't get to spend much time in Maryland looking at houses. She emailed me a lot of houses that had the features I thought were important to me. As a first time buyer, I changed my mind abut what I wanted several times and Amy took it all in stride. She even walked me through the entire buying process and she was available when I had questions. Amy really impressed me when I was looking at a house and I had a question about a crawl space. She crawled through the access door and duck walked through the dirty space with the light from her iPhone and clothes that were not meant for such places. During negotiations, she was able to get the seller to agree with all my requests and I got a great deal on the house as well. If you want someone who is on your side, is a hard worker, and who is a great negotiator, Amy is the agent you want to have on your side. Amy was fantastic!!!! She took a complicated situation and made the process as easy as possible for my wife and I. I can't say enough about the professionalism, tenacity and just plain hard work Amy provided us. Living in South Carolina and selling a house in Maryland can be a somewhat daunting task, but Amy handled the whole process as expertly and thoroughly as anyone could hope! We were always kept abreast of events and when a little wrinkle popped up, Amy was "on-it" in a flash. I can't recommend Amy highly enough!! A true gem to work with !! She's a pro that will represent her clients with experience, tenacity, knowledge and (most importantly) a sense of empathy. OH! Did I fail to mention the great sense of humor??!! I just wish there were agent/advocates like Amy down here in South Carolina!!

If it wasn?t for all of Amy?s efforts, devotion and hard work, we would not be in the incredible neighborhood that we moved into. Amy helped us before we were even ready to put our house on the market and she supported us in every step. She assisted us in every way to get our house ready to put on the market. She staged our house so beautifully that it looked like something out of magazine. In fact most feedback comments from potential buyers were how nice the house ?showed?. Amy set us up with automatic email service that showed us potential houses in the area we were looking and within our price range. If a listed house came up that we were interested in seeing she would take us to see it at a moments notice! Whenever we were with Amy she was always courteous, friendly, honest and completely devoted to helping us find the right home. The day our current home was listed, Amy met us within a half hours notice to look at the house! She helped us make a reasonable offer that same day, negotiated with the selling realtor as other offers came in and she was able to get us a signed contract with 48 hours-for a price within our budget! We were overwhelmed with the whole process because it happened so quickly. Even though our house didn?t sell in that short of a time frame, Amy was able to turn around and rent our home to an amazing family. We were so fortunate to find the perfect home in the perfect community and without Amy?s dedication it would not have happened! I know she exemplifies the same devotion to all her clients! We were extremely satisfied with Amy?s work ethic and we can?t thank her enough for all the help she gave us!

DISCLAIMER: we consulted with Amy about selling our house and did not end up using her as our listing agent. Amy was responsive (I emailed her on a Saturday and she got back to me with a phone call on Monday morning), seemed very knowledgeable about our area and the value of the market. I was reassured during her interview about her ability to market our house well - her ideas were resourceful and clever. Her fees were also reasonable. My only reservation about Amy was that she had many great ideas about improving our house prior to putting it on the market and I felt that she was overly optimistic that we would get our money back. The reason I'm writing a review on her is because even though we did not choose her as our listing agent, she followed through with a couple of recommendations and referrals for jobs that needed to be done around the house. She was gracious and accommodating and I would recommend her for consideration as a listing agent.

Overall we were not particularly happy with the quality of assistance in helping to buy a house. Our main complaint was that she was slow to respond, and/or at times would not respond. We bought a foreclosure and questions and concerns would arise, we would need to ask questions and/or check in on the status of things --- when we would either call Amy or try to contact her-- often via email messages, or text messages, we would not hear back sometimes even for a day or two. I would have expected and thought at least some kind of acknowledgement of receipt of our message by the end of the day, not necessarily an actual answer (however more often then not our questions were fairly simple to answer). On several occasions we did not hear back and were left wondering if she had received our message, and would have to follow up with another phone call or message the following day because we had not heard from her-- this occurred several times. I would not have thought much about it if it occurred once or twice. We found this unacceptable and very unprofessional. This occurred on several occasions and left us very frustrated and also wondering what the status of things was, what was going on etc. I would have expected better and more especially for the amount of commission she made from this sale, and little work involved we do not feel she merited the commission as she really did not do much to help us, and was hard to reach. We did not use her in selling the home we were moving out of because we were not satisfied with her services.

Absolute professional with a sense of humor that parallels her sense of diligence and flexibility!! Highly recommend Amy!! We just started the process of listing and selling our home, and after speaking with a number of "realtors" we found Amy to be a real treasure in a field of lackluster "wannabes"!! As we move forward, I know Amy will be a conscientious partner and a true advocate in selling our house!!

We recently sold our home and bought a new home, and we could not have done it without Amy. I should mention that I used to work in a real estate office and got to know lots of local realtors. I would not call most of them. There are lots of realtors who are too interested in their own pocketbooks and trying to get the most commission they can out of you. I went into this process hoping to find someone who would be more human and less self-absorbed than most of the realtors I have met. I can't tell you enough what an amazing experience we had with Amy. She's an awesome agent and an even better person. We had received a referral for her as a potential selling agent, and once we met her we knew why she had come so highly recommended. She has a wonderful eye for helping you get top dollar for your home. She knows what smart updates and fixes should be done to help you receive the most interest and highest return on investment. She is fun, sweet, funny, energetic, and easy to work with. She is very knowledgable and never treated us like a commission. She helped us sell our home in 6 days. We received our first offer 3 days after placing on the market with Amy. She is incredibly proactive. She showed up and gave the appraiser a full tour of our home while pointing out every one of the upgrades we had made. (she had me make her a list the day before so she could give him a full walk-through) She got us the exact amount we needed our home to appraise for by being so involved and by taking personal pride and ownership of our home. It was the highest appraisal in the community to that date. Our buyer had a horrible realtor who was terribly nasty to work with. She tried to make our settlement a living h***. Amy was so good at handling that situation. She handled the stress for us and made sure the settlement went as it should. She also invested herself in our family. We have two very young children. Our daughter adored Amy! When it came to looking for homes she was awesome. She refused to show us homes in unsafe or less than desirable ares for raising our children. She knew the best locations and made sure to find homes we could afford to allow us the option to get into them. Her husband is a mortgage broker and was incredible as well. That connection was amazing. He treated us with personal concern since we were his wife's clients. He gave us total consideration and as a result of not being treated like "just another account" to some large mortgage company, we ended up with a home that we never could have dreamed possible. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Amy. I would absolutely recommend that anyone looking to buy or sell a home give her a call. You could not do better than Amy. She is the absolute best!

Amy was great right from the start. Before listing we had driven by a home that was in our target area. I reached out to Amy who swiftly set up an appointment for us to view the home. We knew we wanted to list our house but were still about a month out from being ready. Now that the new house was a contender she set up time to come over to our current house, walk through and discuss staging and going onto market. All of her advice was spot on. We ended up selling the house in 17 days! A great record in our area. Her staging and pricing advice was very direct and spot on. She also went the extra mile in terms of scheduling open houses, marketing, etc. We then toured several homes in our area and in the end settled on the original home we viewed and decided to make an offer. Amy navigated both the negotiations and sale of our current home and the house we were making an offer on with ease at the exact same time. She was very positive and well versed in the market, school zones, etc and I knew with confidence that she would not show me a home that did not have my core criteria (school zone, price point, etc.). Additionally she personally attended all of our inspections and was very attentive to every home concern we had along the way. Overall Amy was a joy to work with and we would definitely use her again if we ever need to!

Amy immediately curbed our fears of home-buying with her warm funny personality. She took into account all of our past problems, needs and wants. I am sure we were a little pain but she stood right by us every time we changed directions. Amy would go the extra mile and we often heard from her during nights and weekends. She was usually able to accommodate us on short notice, especially given the limited inventory. We ended up purchasing a townhouse which was the first one we saw and the last one we saw. We saw many in between and the cost versus value was so diverse. Amy is always around to ask post purchase questions and is very helpful. Amy made a long-distance move easier than I could have imagined. She not only helped us find a new home but everything every step of the way was handled for us. I couldn't have asked for better service and a more caring Realtor!

I was searching for a realtor to help me find an investment property near Upper Marlboro, MD. Ms. Faust was highly rated, so I decided to reach out for services. The initial response was speedy and professional. Ms. Faust contacted me via email and phone. She explained the different types of sales (standard, short sale, and REO/bank owned). Because I was trying to close within 45 days, we primarily wanted to focus on standard sales, but kept an eye on short & REO sales as well in case there was a deal to be found. My bank needed 30 days to close, which gave us 15 days to find a house, which is no problem in the current market. The auto search setup by Ms. Faust sent me listings via email and I promptly identified properties I liked. The plan was to go see those homes as soon as possible. This is where I began to have a problem. Responses back from Ms. Faust were delayed and we never went to see any houses. She also never called me after the initial phone call. By the week's end, she sent me the following message: Hi Shawne,I feel so badly that we haven't connected yet in person - you have been at the top of my list to call all day.I think that I have " bitten off more than I can chew" taking on a project that is so far from home. I am a fanatic about giving the very best service to every single one of my clients and do not want to spread myself so thin that I am not able to do so. I work with an amazing group of Realtors in the Severna Park office and would like to hand pick a replacement that will be able to give you the time and attention that you deserve. I appreciate so much the fact that you hand picked ME when you have hundreds of realtors to choose from. I take this fact very seriously. Please let me know if you are interested in this offer. I understand that time is of the essence, and will be sure to convey this fact.I wish you luck in your investment endeavors and hope you hit the jackpot! On the one hand, Ms. Faust seemed very competent and initial contact was great. On the other hand, she never followed through on the plan to go see homes and cost me a week in my search (working with her) and another week finding a new realtor. Since the bank needed 30 days to close, this pushed me past my due date. The offer of realtors in Severna Park didn't work either because that office is an hour in the opposite direction of the neighborhoods where I was searching. Bottom line: Since Ms. Faust was aware of where I was searching for houses and my proposed closing date, I wish she would have declined the job from the start so that I could find a realtor who was available to assist me within the given time frame.
