I have a business Gemini Tattoo, found water on floor, turned the air off 7/1/17 check Angie list found Ambient left message Sunday night 7/2 Brian contacted me Monday 7/3 and showed up 10;45 did a diagnostic test. Found I might have a roof leak, sense pipe, had a line coming down. The air is working great! Waiting for a good rain to see if i need a roofer. If you have a small business you know they can double or triple the price. I am very happy. Honest and price excellent! Thank you, God Bless

Installation went well. Owner of company through in some extras as well at no extra charge. Was conscientious about quality. Tested to ensure that I didn't need to replace lineset as well.

We did get a rebate for $1,250 from it. It took multiple days and multiple people. There were a total of four people involved at multiple times. It only took one day for the installation and then we had a problem that someone had to come back a second day. They did a good job with cleanup. I was very happy with the cleanup. They gave me a good, quality unit for a good price. They were responsive to when there was a problem with something that was loose and needed to be fixed. There was an issue with the rebate that they helped us get through. They did a very good job of service for us.

Scheduling and completion of the task occurred in a timely fashion. Bryan, the owner, was always accessible for questions, was knowledgeable and took responsibility for his workers, and ensured full satisfaction after the job was done. Would definitely hire again.

After the first Winter in 2016, at one point the heat turned off about 11:00 at night and we couldn't get it turned on again. We called Ambient; they came right over with no hesitation whatsoever and found it was a little thing I had inadvertently nudged. Ambient never has their work inspected by the County and I think that's something they need to do; however I have no doubt they did it all correctly.

I likedthe confidence they felt that everything was just fine and I felt confident I wouldn't have any problems during the coming Summer.

The whole experience was awful. Scheduling was difficult. Finally got the techs out the first time, and they told me I needed 5 and 1/2 pounds of freon. I told them I had just purchased service from another A/C contractor, and they had just put in 2 and 1/2 pounds of freon, so I found it strange that just a week later it needed an additional 5 and 1/2 more pounds of freon. But I trusted them as professionals. Shortly after they left, it was still not functioning properly. I called Brian (in charge), back and complained that it still was not cooling. He told me on the phone that he suspected that his tech had put in too much freon. Interesting that he would tell me that. So he later sent another tech out. He was a curly headed, freckled face tech. Brian identified him as Cody, and I sat there the entire time with him servicing it, asking a lot of questions. He was bad mouthing the Ambient techs that had serviced it prior to him, saying one was in college and a know it all, and the other tech thinks he knows it all, blah, blah, blah... He said the prior guys didn't know what they were doing, and he too said it had too much freon in it and that he would have to take some of it out. I asked how he knew and how would he measure how much was to be taken out. He said, it was hard to say because the gauges don't show that. My concern was how would he determine how much freon I would be refunded, because I paid per pound for the freon. I asked him how he knew it had too much freon, and he he showed me two sets of gauges and explained that each set of the red and blue gauges should match up on each side. They were way off. So he started to remove some of the freon until the gauges matched. After the excessive freon was removed, it ran perfectly fine. I asked Cody about my refund for the freon that was removed, and he told me not to worry that Brian would take care of it. I asked for a receipt, and he did not give me one because he didn't know how much withdrawn freon to put on it and assured me Brian would take care of it. I expressed I was not comfortable with him not giving me a receipt of what was done and removed, but he refused to give me one. I called Brian several times afterwards, and he was supposed to follow thru on my refund. But I had to keep after him, and he gave me so many excuses. He kept saying said he had to check with his technician. On November 11, I asked him again about the refund, and he said had moved and his office wasn't set up but he was going to check his records and get with the tech and get back to me, he never did.. Always the same story.. He'll check with the tech and get back to me. On the 17th and again on the 19th of November, I told him I was still waiting to hear from him. On the Nov 21st he responded and asked ME how much freon was taken out. I couldn't believe this or understand why his tech had not addressed this matter months back, long before now. I told him he took quite a bit out. Today I expressed to him my concern and disappointment that I had to keep chasing after him for my refund. So he tells me today, December 9th, that his tech "said" he DID NOT take out any freon, and that I will not be getting a refund. All this waiting for a refund since July/August service. Then he went on to say that they installed a part, that I am totally unaware of.. I have no receipt, nor my signature indicating authorization, to install a part on my equipment. I should have signed for that had materials outside of the freon been installed. And if he installed some foreign part on my equipment, I should have been advised and given a signed copy of it, showing I had authorized it. He cannot provide any receipt indicating that a part was installed, and I feel he is using this as an excuse not to refund me. I do not believe that my system would have needed a total of 8 pounds of freon (2 and 1/2 ;pounds from the first company, then 5 & 1/2 pounds shortly after, from his company). I told him that his tech had told a lie and that I felt I had dealt with a company that was lacking integrity. At this point I feel they are dishonest, and that I have been ripped off and taken advantage of, as a senior citizen. Why did it take him 5 months of me chasing them, to come to this conclusion, and have them finally tell me he would not give me a refund. Totally unprofessional... I don't believe the tech forgot he withdrew the freon, because I sat there the whole time with him as he serviced my equipment and asked a lot of questions. Additionally, I never saw him install a part. So I have paid all this money for freon that was installed then removed, and they won't be honest enough to refund the difference. I am going to research to see what my legal rights are, regarding them installing a part on my equipment, without telling me, or having me authorize it. I should have been informed if a part was required and installed. and if a part was installed, it should have been discussed beforehand and I should have been given a receipt and warranty, for the part...

It was for a rental property. As far as I know, everything was fine. They came out when they said they were coming out, fixed it, and that was it. One of my tenants was there when they came. I think the price was average from various things I have seen around. As far as I know, they fixed the problem and it is still working. My tenants did not complain.

They came out to replace the coils, were super cool to talk to, and I only had to pay for the couple hours of labor. Best decision to hire them ever!

Bryan and his team have been great. They are polite and do a wonderful job. We signed the yearly contract for the second year in the row. I highly recommend them for HVAC work.

I was not happy at all. First, they did not call me back right away and had no follow up. When they did come out, the person tried to convince me not to take the antifreeze that was included in the Big Deal, he kept saying it wouldn't make a difference. I would not recommend them.

Bryan has bailed us out on at least two occasions when our heating and then cooling went bad. Both times, Bryan came out promptly and expertly fixed things efficiently and at a reasonable price. He is truly deserving of his glowing reviews.

Fantastic! My a/c stopped working so I called around to find someone who could repair it as soon as possible and finally called Ambient and when I asked how soon could he come out, he said "in an hour!". He got there and had the system diagnosed and repaired in less than a half hour! Definitely will be using their services from now on!

It was very easy to schedule an appointment. The owner of the company came to my house on 8/2/16. He said that I could get a new 3 ton Trane air conditioner for $3,700 or I could repair the existing unit for $900. It needed a new blade, motor and 2 lbs. of R-22. I had just spent $350 for a service call and a capacitor two days earlier. As the unit was 27 years old, I decided to get a new unit. Ambient was able to come to my house the next day, 8/3 to install a new unit. The technicians were very professional, polite, and neat.

Bryan was out the next day (Saturday) and got me up and running very quickly and professionally. Bryan made a great impression on me as an honest, skilled HVAC technician who always puts customer satisfaction first. I would trust Bryan and Ambient with any heating or cooling job. I can't emphasize enough how hard he worked to ensure I understood what the repairs needed were, and why, and that I was completely satisfied with the work that was done. An absolutely honest, hard working guy, I recommend you give him a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

They did fine. Angie's List did poorly because they constantly nag me.
