I have a slew of emails with Bryan with him describing there were multiple issues. We have paid every dime that was billed to us and we have no heat. My better half expressed a lack of confidence after they had been out to "fix" our issues several times, and Bryans response was to say it's time to part ways. We spent over $1000 on our heater and our heat is still not working. We also spent over $5000 in June for a new AC. So we are not disloyal customers, just incredibly frustrated and dismissed.

Ambient is amazing. Always punctual and professional. Any question is answered with patience and the process is explained prior to completing the project/task. Bryan and his team are very honest and upfront with what is going on, and will give you the best steps to remedy the issues. 10/10 will recommend. I won't use another HVAC contractor.

My Central Air stopping working on the hottest day of the year. I called and the secretary was extremely nice and gave me a window of when I tech would come and assess the problem. I received a text when the tech was on his way. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to fix my air in a timely manner. I will be using this company again to replace my outdated unit! They were amazing and will refer them to my friends and family.

In the middle of the summer there were problems with the HVAC system and it had to be replaced. The owner of the business visited the house for a quote. I was surprised that we he entered the house he was not wearing a mask, a common business practice these days. I politely asked him to wear a mask and he agreed. Other businesses were considered but based on 3, 5-star ratings on Yelp and the fact that even when there was a scarcity of HVAC systems, they agreed to install the system relatively fast, I decided to buy a system from AC&H. They offered a competitive price and a fast installation. The day of the installation the technicians arrived at the house and started working. I immediately noticed that the younger technician had issues keeping his mask in place while working inside the house. In addition to that, after about two hours into the installation process, I could smell cigarette smoke upstairs. I went downstairs to check and found the technician smoking inside my house. I had never felt so disrespect. People accessing the house and not wearing mask or not wearing a mask properly is one thing, but smoking inside the house is just completely offensive. After the installation was completed, I emailed the business owner about the incident. He apologized and mentioned that I was not going to have the same problem again. Now, within less than 3 months of installing the new system, the system had a problem. I assume that the competitive price is explained by the lower quality of the components. Made a service call and the technician visited the house the next day. The adjusted valve and the noise from the system went away. He explained that it is a new type of valve and it could be defective. He took pictures of the valve and told me that if the noise came back he would replace the part. After a week the noise came back. Placed a regular service call for the part to be replaced but this time it seems that the receptionist was not in a good mood. Among the comments from the receptionist, she said: - The part can’t be replaced without an assessment, the technician was wrong in saying that the part will be replaced. - After the assessment, it might take time because we don’t keep parts in inventory - If you don’t like it, find someone else - Call the manufacturer - We know how you people are (I still don’t know what she meant by “you people”) - Your calls will no longer be accepted - All my comments were directed by the business owner That was extremely surprising. I never had an experience like that during a service request and that is the main motivation for this review. I emailed the business owner explaining the incident and asking for confirmation that they planned to honor the warranty. I also asked for an apology from the receptionist. He responded that the technician was on schedule to visit the house and that he will continue to honor the warranty. He also asked me to communicate only by email, no more phone calls for service request. Regarding his receptionist, he stated “We have had nothing but compliments in regards to ______ and how she handles the office, customers and scheduling. I believe there may have been a misunderstanding and to eliminate that we will only correspond via email for the remainder of your service contract.” I don’t consider that it was a misunderstanding because I was the person talking to her when she said “if you don’t like it, find someone else”. That is without a doubt a terrible business practice. Would I recommend buying from this business? No They offer competitive prices but, in my experience, the quality is lacking. In addition, I have no complains about the senior tech that has been to my house a few times now but I question the behavioral training and guidelines offered for the younger techs. Also, it is not ideal to pay thousands of dollars for a new system and a few weeks after installation having to deal with a rude and disrespectful receptionist. Pay a little more and go with a well-established and standardize business.

Installers arrived on time and worked to completion. The job took much longer than estimated but the returned the following day to complete.

They were great to work with and the customer service representative was very cordial and understanding . The technician was also very understanding and very efficient and came out the same day.

Great Guys replaced AC Unit & put A Tankless Water Heater in for Me.Guy we’re on time & Very Courteous. Will Call Them Again If I Need Anything.

This is the third time I've called Ambient for an A/C repair. Each time, they have been able to come out same day, and were friendly and professional. Costs were reasonable, and they got my system back up and running quickly. I would highly recommend them to friends and family, and they are the only ones I even think to call for A/C now. I claimed a deal online for a hvac tune up for $75 (or $85, I can't really remember). When they came out, the guy admitted it was his first week on the job. The hvac unit was old so he said it wasn't really worth him doing to tune up but he could give me a quote. Even though he couldn't do anything to help the unit, I still got charged. As a result of that, I decided to go with another company for the installation.

I have been a client of this company for several years. I declined the service contract this year because of my finances. I texted Bryan, the owner a few days ago and asked why I was not sent a postcard reminding me of the furnace check up for the fall. I had an AC checkup in the spring. He responded that they only send postcards to contract customers. Now, I have used this company for about 5 years now. I guess, since I did not sign up for the contract service I am not the money maker they expected, so I do not deserve the reminder. So I asked him why. I got a very terse response. My recommendation if you want to use this service, be prepared to pay $325 for a contract, even if 2 services amount to $190. I even recommended this guy to my neighbors. I regret that. I’ll be using Coastal Heating from now on. I thought giving a guy with a new and upcoming service back in the day would be appreciated. It’s been the opposite. Maybe its because I am a female homeowner. Don’t know, dont care. Customer service is non existent with this guy. He cannot even spell my name correctly.

as soon as I plugged in what I needed on Angie's List, I got a phone call from Ambient. They were able to come out next-day and install a new system, as well as diagnosing that the HVAC system installed in my house three years ago was a nine year old unit (at the time, now 12 yrs old), among other things the initial technicians messed up, with improper ductwork and no insulation in the attic. They were done in 7 hours! Everyone was super friendly.

Fast- same day response with good/fair pricing. Better than other companies I contacted for both response time to the house and price. Efficient service as well. Would definitely contact and use again!

I sent a message to Ambient to see if they might be able to come out. Our regular people were not scheduling for 9 days and meanwhile, our upstairs had reached 99 degrees. Ambient did write back to us in a timely manner and said they had someone who could come out today. Unfortunately, we had already found someone else by the time we heard back from them so we went with them. But we very much appreciated their responsiveness and ability to send someone out on the same day (the day after Fourth of July!), even though we didn't use their service.

I was very impressed with Ambient Cooling & Heating. I needed an inspection of my AC and Furnace as I am getting ready to sell my home. I was able to get an appointment very quickly and the technician that came was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was willing to answer my questions and didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need. I was very satisfied with my experience and will hire this company in the future for any AC/heating projects I may have.

I cannot say enough nice things about this company!!! I called, hoping to schedule an appointment in the next few days because every other company in the area seemed to have nothing available for a week. Brian told us he could have someone to our son's condo in thirty minutes - in fact, the young man beat us there! The service was fast and professional and a reasonable price. Not only that, we got a rough estimate for a replacement of the old 2ton system that was about $1000 less than other estimates, so I think they'll be getting more business from us very soon. CALL THEM - you'll be glad you did!!!!

Bryan at Ambient was very professional and courteous in presenting me his proposal for the installation. Wayne and Jake installed the units over three days. They too were professional and friendly. I am very happy with the results. With a cathedral ceiling, the upstairs was several degrees warmer than the downstairs with the air-conditioning on. With the loss of some large shade trees in the back, the temperature in the master bedroom was unbearable. Although I had never heard of mini-splits before, Sean had explained their use. Now each bedroom has an HVAC unit, each individually controlled. There is a small unit outside that runs refrigerant to each unit. It has completely resolved the air-conditioning problem in my house.

Ambient totally delivered on this service call to repair my heat pump. They came same-day and quickly diagnosed the issue with my heat pump. Service was professional and the price was very reasonable. Considering I didn't know who to call when I first realized that my heat stopped working, I know who I'll be calling and recommending the next time.

I have used Ambient for the past two years for our old heating system. I find them to be very responsive, honest, and courteous. They do not attempt to over sell and give me an honest opinion. The owner has gone out of his way to help me even over the phone at night. I highly recommend them.

The installation went great. Products, models, cost, and financial options were discussed prior to hiring. The team was professional, experienced, timely, and cleaned up the site after install. The operation of the system was reviewed The system was slightly overcharged so a member of the team came the next day to resolve the matter effectively. Ambient is a great company to work with and we are very satisfied with the installation. We highly recommend this company.

Did she the system checks although the AC system with new so there was not that much to check. Found a leak, fix it and charged the system, they subtracted the amount I paid for the page for the system check from the total
