The job went very well, and I was pleased with the work. My central AC is working great, and I have had no issues or problems since. While he was servicing my AC, we did discuss my furnace as well. He explained that because the furnace is so old, it will probably need to be replaced soon. I was so pleased with his service, I will most likely have Ambient Cooling & Heating replace my furnace (and AC as well), when the time comes. I really like that this is a small company that answers and returns phone calls, is professional and easy to deal with, while still providing great work. I am not usually one to give a company all "A's," but I feel good work should be recognized, and I am comfortable with giving them all A grades.

He did a great job. I am very pleased. He was very straightforward. He told me what my system needed.

He arrived on time, and determined the water that had been coming out of my furnace, was due to a hole in one of the pans inside the furnace. To repair the problem, he had to cut into the furnace, replace the pan that had the hole, reroute everything, and then put it all back together. I haven't had any problems with the furnace since he did the repairs, and now everything is working fine!

He was on time, professional, and made recommendations without pushing sales. I would recommend his service.

Went well, we were missing half a pound of coolant from our system (the coupon included as much as a pound). We thought it was totally worth it to have them check it out, add the coolant. Especially when its scorching hot in the 90s. Only disappointment was I expected something more, other than checking amount of coolant, checking the temperature of coolant from the compressor, and air filter inside. I think thats about all they did as part of the checkup. Still think it's worth it. My dad replaced his AC unit after 10 years, so I was glad to get mine looked at (around the same age).

He recommended a cleaning of the condenser and he came back to do that. He seemed very professional and had good communication skills. I was pleased. The quality of the work was very good. There was another issue as it was making some strange noises. I gave him a call and he would be coming to look into it for me. He seemed to be very attentive to the situation. I thought that it was a good price. He was very responsive. He seemed to do a good job.

Vendor contacted me, scheduled appointment, called 30 minutes before arrival, and was punctual. Very professional attitude, and appeared knowledgeable. Performed PM as agreed. As he was checking the outside unit, he informed me that the Freon was low, and would need an additional 1/2 lb. over the 1 lb. included in the initial price, at an additional cost of $45.00. I agreed. As he was completing the service, and adding the Freon, he told me that it was worse than he thought. He said he had already added an additional 1-1/2 lbs. over .the one included in Big Deal.. I was surprised he had already added the additional amount without advising me he was doing so.. Instead of the additional $45 I had been advised of, and approved, the bill for the Freon was $142.50 over the price of the discounted "Big Deal." Had this not occurred, I would have given Ambient a higher rating. I was not aware that I had a problem when I signed up for the service, but must say, my system seems to be running more efficiently However, if I use the company again, I will make it clear that deviation from the quoted amount must be approved by me, prior to the service being performed.

Bryan was professional and a nice person. He called me before he headed to my house so that I wouldn't have to miss so much time from work.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and it worked out fine. I also purchased an additional service that he offered. He was very polite on the phone and arrived on time. He is a master air conditioning service technician so I was very impressed with his knowledge. The technician came right in, got to work, did not play around and got the job done. My air conditioning system is running beautifully now. He is very good and did a thorough job. I have had other air conditioning people and he did as least as good or better than all of the other ones I have ever used. He had all the right tools and had a company van with their name on it; I was very impressed. He also was very punctual.

Great. This is the first time I tried them (an Angie's Big Deal) and would use again. I was having problems with the AC and it turned out to be a minor issue. He solved that then gave the system a check up. He arrived on time, was professional, and took the time to explain to me what the issue had been.

They are great. They showed up a lot earlier than I expected. There weren't any major problems, but they took their time to do their job. We thought we had additional problems, and they came back to check it out. They gave some analysis, and they said that there was nothing else they could do. They didn’t charge us anymore. They were very accommodating and very good to work with. Their pricing is fine. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I was able to get an appointment quickly, within 2 days of calling to set it up. He came out on time, and got the job done. What more can you ask for? I have older A/C and heating units, so he made some suggestions for upgrading, but not in a pushy way. I plan on signing a service contract with him to handle future annual maintenance.

The installation took about (2) days. The first day they removed my old outside and inside units and placed the new heat pump and air handler. He was able to get most of the outside complete the first day and measured the duct work to attach to the new air handler. The second day he arrived a little later in the day due to having to pick up the duct work but was able to finish the job that day. Ambient installed a new 18 SEER heat pump inside and out with a programmable thermostat. The technician was polite and respected my house and my belongings. I would highly recommend them to anyone getting a new piece of equipment installed to having service work done.

As stated above I called a few HVAC contractors to come to my home and fix my ailing Air Conditioner. Some some companies were on time others were not. Ambient was on time, clean and knowledgeable. I told the technician the house was not cooling down and he went to the furnace in the basement after turning on my thermastat to cool. He checked my filter (which I had just changed) confirmed that the furnace was running as designed. He then proceeded to the outside unit opened it up checked a "capacitor" put his gauges on and concluded the compressor was my problem. He recomended a new compressor being that the compressor was under warranty. He did give me the options of replacing the entire system but I never felt pushed or uncomfortable. I'm very happy with the service, price, knowledgeability and professionalism. I would highly recommend Ambient to anyone having heating or air conditioning problems
