"Someone from the company, Mentis contacted me right away after my search on Angi. I needed the legs of my granddaughter's wooden desk reattached. The individual asked me to send a photo and gave me a quote based on the photo. We scheduled a time for an agent to come see the job and give what I thought would be another quote or a confirmation of the quote I'd already given me. Milanko, the handyman from Mentis arrived on time and ready to work. After he fixed the desk, he assembled my granddaughter's day bed. Included is a photo of the broken desk. Unfortunately, I can't send a photo of the repaired desk or bed because the photos are too large. I'll send them to Mentis and ask them to post. I was charged to the parts and labor to replace both. Costs are not disclosed. For example, I was charged $198.89 for MH.MRE.605.0100 and $115.90 for MH.MTA.000.0004. Eventually I found out that the $115.90 was to locate and pick up the parts. There was also a Service Charge. When I asked what that was for, I was told "a fee for lack of a better term." My original estimate was for $300.13 but I ended up paying $412.78. There are better and more transparent options than Mr. Handyman."
