We've used Home Air for over 20 years, and they have always been great. Always timely. And on our recent a/c maintenance run, the tech (who has a fabulous beard) brought to our attention an apparent plumbing leak.

The representative arrived on time and was pleasant and courteous. He said our air conditioning is working properly and said he cleaned the coils etc. I signed up for the annual service agreement to cover both AC and heating.

Very well. Knew what they were doing.

We picked this firm from Angie's List because the could send help the same day. The technician found that a fuse had blown, was gracious enough to explain the problem to me and leave a few extra fuses. The final cost (below) included an Angie's List coupon.

Only hours later a service person called from the site, gave me the diagnosis and explained what was necessary to fix the problem. All was done quickly and efficiently.

It went very badly. When I scheduled an appointment last week, I was specifically asked where the A/C unit was and told them that it was on the roof of my row house. The rep told me that they'd be sure to send someone with a ladder. So, I took the day off of work. When the tech showed up today, he didn't have the appropriate ladder. When I called the office, they would not try to get someone else out to my house. They offered no apology for my time being wasted and asked if I wanted to reschedule for later in the week. I even spoke to the owner, Lionel. He didn't acknowledge any mistake on his company's part. He had several opportunities, but instead chose to make excuses. Please think twice about using this company.

Their heating and air condition systems are efficient and extremely effective. Their service and maintenance contracts ensure a long life of their products. My current boiler that I replaced was well over the predicted 20 years life span. Their expert technicians are courteous and respectful of their customers and their home.

We have a subscription to them. For the most part they've been very good. They've made a few mistakes over the years, but they always come out and correct them. We've used them for over 10 years.

Overall - we are very happy with Home Air Services, Inc. - especially with Chris. We called Home Air Services on a Sunday and by the next morning, Chris had come to our home. He diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired the issue - all during the visit. Chris kept us informed of the cost of the repairs as he was doing the work. He also provided additional information on maintaining the system to prevent future problems, which was very helpful. We would definitely hire Home Air Services in the future!

We called Home Air's emergency number at 7am. Would have gotten response right away from the technician Chris who was on duty, but in our panic I forgot to leave a return number, twice! When I did leave a return number, Chris responded in less than 5 minutes. Was at the house in a couple of hours and diagnosed the problem as a failed Blow Motor. He didn't have one on the truck but reported it to the office. The next morning, Jose called and reported the motor had been ordered and Brandon would be out to install it at 4pm. So, Home Air handled our emergency as such, got the job done in a timely and efficient manner. Both technicians Chris and Brandon were polite, professional and experienced. Thanks Home Air. You did a great job, as you always have over the decades we have been with you.

Alfred and his assistant were very professional in all aspects of their work. They explained what they were going to do (from the signed contract). They answered my questions and modified their work slightly to meet a request. They installed the manometer without difficulty. They discussed how to maintain the filter system. And they left their work area clean. The cost was reasonable and competitive with other companies. I will use Home Air Services again and I recommend this company.

The device technician found a fuse in the furnace's electrical system had blown and replaced it. He took the trouble to explain how I could identify such a problem (there is a small light lit only when the furnace is taking power) and left extra fuses.

When I called to see if I could schedule a service call I specifically told the person on the phone that I'd had another estimate that I thought was too high and I was wondering if they could give me a rough idea of the cost over the phone. She said only the technician could do that. I booked the service call which came with a $48 "dispatch fee" which would be applied to the job cost if I chose to do the work. When the technician arrived he didn't even look under the kitchen sink. He flipped open the price book and found the cost. This seems like a transparent ploy to soak people for the dispatch fee. Pros: * They were able to get me a plumber the same day. * Applying the dispatch fee to the job cost seems to be an unusual practice these days. * The tech was understanding about me being unwilling to go forward with the work. Cons: * Their prices were extremely high, about 20% more than the other estimate I'd gotten. * Again, if the tech was just going to quote me from the book, I feel like I've been soaked for the dispatch fee. The booker could have quoted me a base price with a caveat the the the tech would need to assess to give me a firm quote. If she'd done that, I wouldn't have booked the call.

Technician arrived early, was extremely courteous and professional, and did a terrific job on the maintenance and the repair of my equipment. He also cleaned up thoroughly when he was finished, including picking up all spare parts and wire clippings, and cleaning the outside of the equipment.. Really great. Highly recommend.

Not a lot of technicians give you tips and tidbits but this was quick and informative. Will definitely be reaching out to them again in and when I need to.

I have been a customer of Home Air Services since I bought the home in 2004. I purchased a year long maintenance contract on the advice of the previous owners who also used Home Air. I like the fact that some of technicians have been with the company since I started the service. Some even remember the previous owners. They are always friendly and very professional and they fix the problem. I am moving across the country so I won't be a customer in the future. But I'll definitely recommend to the new buyers of my home that they use Home Air Services.

The sales person gave us several options on replacement units at different energy ratings and help us calculate the saving options to choose one that fit our needs and budget. Their installation guys were fast and efficient on the installation and left us no mess. Thanks Home Air.

On a recent bi-annual service call, the rep from Home Air discussed the fact that our high energy bills would be lowered by installing in a new heat pump system to replace the 10-year plus existing system. Gave us options for cost vs. efficiency of available replacements. We decided on an appropriate one, and booked an appointment for several weeks later to have the new system installed. On the appointed day, two technicians arrived promptly and set to work, for a job which took all day. They were polite, exacting, and at the end of the day explained the use of the new thermostat and took me for a tour of the new components they had installed. In sum: a flawless consumer experience.

Cary is a true professional and even comes with his own booties to walk through our home and up to the roof. He was even early. I highly recommend this company.

The annual maintenance check up went very well. The service provider arrived on time and got right to work. He was very polite and professional. When he was finished, he explained everything to me. He ordered parts that needed to be replaced and explained the procedure for the next visit for replacing these parts.

I'm very pleased with Home Air Services. They diagnosed the problem correctly the first time and I am very happy with their work. I plan to contact them soon to put a contract in place to have regular maintenance for my HVAC system.

Left a message on the 24 hour answering machine and the technician called back in about 15 minutes and arrived about 30 minutes later. He could have taken advantage of us as the blizzard was only a day away. He lubricated the fan and wad done very quickly. He then spent some time discussing cost for a replacement furnace and hot water heater but there was no pressure. We recently brought an air conditioner from them and will probably buy a new furnace and hot water from them as well. As it turns out they give you a price break with the maintaince agreement.
