Patronize only if you have a big wad for cash for new equipment. A vendor strung me along for years to keep an old, inefficient furnace alive. Foolish me. Vito bought this company. When the furnace croaked in the January 2024 cold snap, Vito installed a replacement part which failed to work. When I decided to throw in the towel and get a new furnace, their quote was out of this world.

It went fine. I was a bit surprised by the 300$ fee for the ‘leak check’.

Unfortunately, I've had a bad experience with Vito Plumbing. I'm sure that for most plumbing problems that require a simple fix or don't involve a lot of product knowledge, Vito may be a good choice. However, if you invested in some relatively expensive bathroom fixtures that may require more experience than the run of the mill Home Depot or Lowe's, you may want to look for another company. My issue was a shower faucet that would not turn off completely & no water pressure. After three appointments with two different plumbers, one of which lost parts of my original Grohe faucet & claimed they were never there ,several phone calls with the "manager" & $500.00+ in parts & labor, I still have no working shower. I was told the "manager" was going to call me by the last plumber who was here. That was on March 28th, 2023. It's been almost two months. Not even a follow-up.

I recently received services from Vito Services to install a new hot water heater. The services received from this company was horrible. The unprofessionalism and negligence I endure replacing water heater. Below provides some of the unsatisfactory work and services received: 1. Paid for a new water heater instead received a water heater with damages. It looked used. 2. The technical broke my perfectly fine sump pump and tried to hide it until I wanted to review the work performed and found out when I turn on the light switch water was gushing into my home. 3. Damages my drywall with drilled holes to install two vents required for ventilation purposes. 4. The install water heater did NOT pass WSSC Water inspection. Requested another technical perform the repairs from the first technician “Collin” mishaps. 5. The first technician by the name of ‘Collin’ refuse to cover his work shoes while performing services and tracked dirt, debris from the rain on my perfectly new carpet. I was livid!!! a. Both services trucks parked in front of my garage doors blocking my exit out until asked to move. One truck stayed there, while the other truck moved and then replaced with the used water heater which still block me from exiting out of garage. b. During the next visit to fix the broken sump pump “Collin’ parked on the wrong side of the road. Just inconsiderate. Also, it rain that day and he continued to track dirt, debris on my perfectly new carpet. c. During the first visit I was asked if they can use my personal property (microwave to heat up their food, and cell charger to charge their phones.) 6. Once the water heater issue was resolved and WSSC Water revisited my property to inspect the updates made. I received an email with regards to payment which noted if not paid immediately interest will accrued. The nerve!! From the Unprofessionalism, shady work, disregard to customers property they plan to charge me interest because the services they provided did not pass WSSC Water inspection and had to get it fixed, recertified the work along with breaking perfectly fine sump pump. After WSSC finally passed the water heater I made full payment. But I was disgusted by their services, their demeanor and most of all their technicians’ particular ‘Collin’ unprofessionalism services. I will never ever use their services again or even recommend them to anyone!!!

I've worked with Home Air for about 10 years where they installed and maintained three separate systems on my properties. The last two big jobs they provided a written estimate for the work and then did not honor it and pushed the charges higher. After 10 years of working on the property they mis-measured the size of the unit (causing my tenants to go several days without the heating) and claimed they were not aware of DC rules about when they could and could not undertake installation (after having worked on the property for 10 years!). Rather than accept their errors and move on, they then put a block on my account and are refusing to honor existing service contracts.

The water heater itself works fine. However, Vito didn't get a WSSC inspection like they said they would in the contract, to cap off the gas. Vito said this isn't necessary but when I called WSSC they said it was. Also, the water heater's "LeakSense" was not installed, and I couldn't get Vito to respond to my requests about that either. Maybe the heater doesn't come with LeakSense, who knows, but I couldn't get info on that though I've tried. I asked about each of these issues two or three times, with no response. So I finally just gave up on them and paid the invoice. Bleh. But at least the water heater works fine.

We have been with Home Air Services since 05/19/2009 when we purchased and installed a Lennox heating and cooling system. We have always maintained an annual maintenance contract with Home Air and have never had any significant repair issues. This is an excellent family-owned business that has given us superb service over the past 12 years. We wish to give a shout out to their latest maintenance representative, Manny Garcia (Junior) who was punctual, thorough and efficient in his check. Great Job, Home Air!

Paid for a technician to come out and provide a diagnosis and quote to repair a furnace. For some reason, the technician said he was unable to provide a quote (even though I was told he would be providing one) and said the office would call to provide a quote. No call was ever made. Wasted $120 on a quote that was never provided.

Home Air Services has been an excellent provider of routine and specialized maintenance of my air conditioning and heating system. I strongly recommend them.

What a great company! We discovered them through a friend and we're really happy with HomeAir's work. They were very thorough in explaining our options. We met with Lionel, who gave us several design choices for heat, filtration etc. Techs were great! Very neat work. I'd hire them again.

Home Air was great. I met with several different companies and Home Air was by far the most thorough in surveying my needs and presenting me with options. Once I hired them, they spent a lot of time with us figuring out how best to modify our ductwork to add more return air and came up with a plan that made our basement less cluttered and our HVAC more efficient. The install team was prompt, friendly, and professional. It was a 2 day job and they left the worksite spotless at the end of the first day. From the first time I called and talked to their front office to the completion of job they were great to work with.

They do a great job, are very responsive and helpful and have given good advice that also saved me money.

Technician quickly found an intake filter was plugged with leaves. Function was restored when the leaves were removed.

The technician was friendly and polite, and he enjoyed talking. He talked a lot and gave me a lot of advice on things I should do or look out for. He said all that would be on my receipt/report. It was not. After looking over my air handler and heat pump, he told me that I had a freon leak and that some rusting near the coils prevented him from doing the expected cleaning. He was afraid of damaging the coils. He suggested those items be taken care of right away. I told him I had insurance for repairs, so would have to go through the insurance company. He said OK and left. I was charged the full amount for a maintenance service call--$245. I was certainly willing to pay him for his time, but it seemed a bit outrageous to be charged the full amount when he did almost nothing. Today I had another company, sent by my insurance company, to look things over. Everything is just fine. No freon leak. Minor rusting caused by condensation. He said the earlier technician just didn't want to do the cleaning and made up an excuse, hoping I would pay for additional services. I feel I got totally ripped off by Home Air Services and will never call them again. I suggest you avoid them as well.

Home Air was recommended to me about 30+ years ago by my neighbor when my old furnace died. They have installed a new furnace and I retained them for the semi-annual maintenance. It has been a very good relationship. The few times when I have needed service, being a contract customer has guaranteed immediate attention. The technicians are professional, on time and my heating and A/C function well.

After getting 3 estimates, Home Air was the most reasonable price wise. The expertise of the estimator convinced me that this was a good company to go with. They installed a new A/C-Furnace and outside condenser. I am very please with the result. I would hire again.

Technician identified a Freon leak in air Handler. I was not able to talk to him right as he was leaving and asked that he call me later. He did not leave a written summary or report. He never called back. I contacted the main office and they assured me that the technician would call by the end of the day at the latest. I would make that call to the home office several times, always with the same promise that he would call by the end of the day ... One week later: technician still has not called. In the meantime, the AC has not been working. We are hiring a different company

The young gentleman who came to look at the problem was very nice and helpful. He said we needed a new remote control and that the company would get it and let me know that day what and when to expect it. They never called back. I called three times and they keep saying that they are looking into it ! ! ! It has been over a week and still no news.

Over the past decades Home Air has installed two HVAC systems in my home, and then maintained them semi-annually. Their work has been well done. I have only praise.

I expected and received Home Air Services usual excellent service, with on-time arrival (within the window), and pre-arrival call. Service was prompt, and the technician was knowledgeable and explained his maintenance procedure. Consistent, courteous, and well-trained professional technicians. Highly recommended both for installation (Home Air installed my HV/AC Carrier Infinity system in 2007), and for regular semi-annual preventative maintenance.

This will be my AC/Heating company in the future. The price was very reasonable, the team was professional, courtesy, and they cared about their job. In today's environment, I've found it difficult to find a service or maintenance company that isn't purely transactional. Meaning, most companies purely clear about the BL $ they walk away with. With Home Air Services, we felt like they cared more about what we wanted and needed then making a $.

Great! I hired Home Air Services years ago to conduct an annual check on my AC in the spring, and my heater in the fall. They do a great job. There was only one time they found a part that needed to be replaced and they did it for me. Reasonable rates, great service!

The work was done excellently. The Home Air personnel have been wonderful. They know exactly what to do, perform the work efficiently with real professionalism. I am a very satisfied customer.

It went great. On time, quick, efficient, and courteous and professional. Have been with this company since 2007 when I bought my air handler unit from them. Have had very good experiences.
