This was an excellent experience. Jerry Kerwin came to our house to provide an estimate and spent a lot of time explaining about different systems. He was extremely knowledgeable and inspected potential problems beyond our A/C issues. He provided a reasonable quote, and within a few days of our placing the order, technicians came out and installed the new system. We had a problem with the fan being set too high, and Home Air returned to the house within a day of our call to fix the problem. All representatives were polite, informed and professional. We are very pleased with the new A/C system.

They came out to check my system the day I called. Very quick, pleasant response. Technician tried hard to repair my system and did not charge me for the time when he could not fix it. It then took more than a week to get a new one installed. The initial promises made for how quickly and at what time of day the new unit could be installed were not met and that was aggravating. But, when finally scheduled, they were on time, courteous, clean, and thorough. The new unit seems to be working perfectly. When, immediately after installation, I had a small problem with the thermostat, they immediately returned and corrected it.

I have used Vito's for five years or so. They are very reliable and do quality work. They were here promptly, finished the job quickly and cleaned everything up nicely when they are done.

Multiple job task performed by an English speaking crew who worked efficiently, taking care to protect floors etc. Excellent clean-up after job was finished. Minor damage was quickly adjudicated.

I'm more than pleased. I called Home Air late in the afternoon and the technician came out around 10:00 PM that same night. He found the A/C checked out OK and the problem was with my electrical box 30amp circuit breaker. He could have left it their but he went way beyond his duty and gave me a temporary fix until an electrician could come out. Now, that is great service.

They showed up the same day, the tech was very helpful, and they were able to come back the next day for a follow-up despite the 90-degree heat. A/C is working fine now.

I was very pleased with this company. hey are professional and focused on customer satisfaction. When an unexpected problem was uncovered with my furnace motor, the repair technician worked well into the evening to address the situation and complete the installation. In addition, the a/c unit was installed within 24 hours of accepting the estimate and signing the contract.

THEY FIXED SOME LEAKY PIPES AND REPLACED FILTERS AS WELL.

Excellent, and very reliable, we would use them, again.

They were courteous and professional. My only complaint was when they came out to do the estimate they were almost two hours late due to traffic but other than that I was satisfied.

After hours technician returned call on a Friday night within 15 minutes. The technician gave guidance over the telephone to temporarily address the problem and encouraged me to call the office on Saturday morning. Before I could call the office, the dispatcher called to see if problem was continuing and if service was still needed. They sent out a technician despite having a full schedule. As a "fit-in" on their schedule, they gave me several calls throughout the day to update me on their progress in reaching my house on their list. The continuous communication was a plus to me. Upon arrival, the technician was very courteous and explained the situation at hand. He cleared the condensate line and serviced the entire unit. The technician also answered all of my questions despite the elementary nature of some of them. I would highly recommend this company and will be using them for my future HVAC servicing.

I discovered on Tuesday afternoon that my A/C wasn't running at all. On Wednesday afternoon, I started calling around to get an appointment. One place wasn't able to come out for almost a week, Home Air said someone would be there when that evening. They were running a little behind and I had to call to confirm my appointment, but Ken did show up. What a relief to have A/C for tonight! He honored the $20 discount for repairs, for being an Angie's List customer.

Quick response for an appointment. Job quality was excellent, but cost was on the high side.

They returned my call the next day. They made the appointment for the very next day and completed the work. They were very professional from beginning to end. The technician was very efficient and answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend them.

Though the company was responsive to my needs (sending someone out in relatively short order when the heat went out on the coldest days of the year), the fact that this problem persisted despite their repairs was distressing. Although they did not charge for the second visit and gave a discount for the third, when the repair was made, the prices are very high for the work required. Given my subsequent dealings with a different contractor when the problem again persisted, I would not call this company again.

I would recommend them others. They were as good as I hoped they would be in every sense of the word.

They sent 2 guys. One of them was experienced, but he just observed as the apprentice did the work. The experienced man told me they had changed 2 pipes, but I could see two pipes had not been replaced. I asked him where the other pipe was and he wouldn't show me. When the man was writing up the bill, he added in an annual service contract without me asking for it, then when I told him I didn't want it, he changed my bill to make everything more expensive. He told me if I didn't take the service contract then my bill would be higher, he tried to make me think he was giving me a discount by charging me more. He said he would put a temporary wall in place of the drywall hole they dug out, but he didn't do that. I provided my own parts that I bought for a toilet shut off valve, then they also charged me for the parts in the bill, even though I had bought them. When I called them to let them know about the problem, the man on the phone was very rude and would not resolve it.

Very responsive sales staff arrived within days of a request for an initial consult and answered tons of questions about variable vs multi-speed blowers, AFUE, etc. After collecting bids from 2 other companies, decided that HAS' reputation, price, and professionalism we worth the investment. Negotiated a price, signed a contract, and had a nice new high efficiency furnace within a week (note: our previous system was still operational, but on its last legs). A day before, they sent someone to pre-measure the installation and then the next day, a 3-man crew came early and hammered everything into place within 5 hours. The team was professional, courteous, and clean -- they covered carpets they walked on and cleaned up all debris related to the task. By all means, shop around, but HAS was great to work with, very professional, and very competitively priced. Highly recommended.

The work was very satisfactory. Their price was a bit better than other bidders. They brought in a rig to remove an old external unit and place a new one behind some high bushes. They were very professional.

I am generally quite pleased. Their bid was somewhat lower than the others I got. They were very responsive and professional. My only complaint was that after the job was done, they were very slow in sending me the revised contract information. We had a verbal agreement to add some changes to the contract and I still received it. I would give them all A's if it were not for this still unresolved issue.

They were punctual and polite enough, but strongly recommended a huge, destructive $12,000 excavation and reconstruction based on what they said they saw (tree roots). We got another opinion and another camera scan, which found the offending tree. The new scan also determined that the blockage was in WSSC's right-of-way and therefore not our responsibility. This other company was enormously helpful in getting WSSC to make the repair. Meanwhile, it took several months for Vito even to deliver to us the videotape that they had made (which WSSC wanted to confirm the diagnosis). The other plumber told us that the Vito staff had greatly exaggerated the problem, as well as not mentioning that the blockage was in WSSC's area of responsibility. I recommend a second opinion for any major work.

Plumber arrived on time and took about 15 minutes to complete job. For that 15 minutes, it cost over $300.

THEY COME OUT TWO TIMES A YEAR. DURING THE YEAR NOTHING ELSE EVER HAS TO BE DONE. I HAVE USED THEM FOR YEARS, AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. MY HUSBAND, AND I ENJOY THE TWICE A YEAR VISITS.

I MUST SAY HOME AIR SERVICES IS A VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY AND I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICES THAT WERE PROVIDED. THEY ALWAYS MAKE FOLLOW UP CALLS AND THEY CALL ME EVERY SIX MONTHS WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO COME OUT, I NEVER HAVE TO CALL THEM.

WELL THEY DID A GOOD JOB BUT THEIR PRICES ARE WAY TO HIGH. IF I DIDN'T HAVE WATER EVERYWHERE AND NEEDED HOT WATER I PROBABLY WOULDN'T HAVE USED THEM AND WOULD'VE SHOPPED AROUND.
