Excellent. Mr. Jerry Kerwin came out to do an analysis of the heat load in the house to ensure that the capacity of the A/C unit was proper. He also came back to check after the unit was installed to see if the flow was proper. His professionalism and recommendations were much appreciated. Crew came on time, Installation was done per estimate in a timely and professional manner. Very nice installation, wiring, and hose connections. Scott, who made the original evaluation of the damaged A/C,estimate and analysis was very knowledgeable and helpful. I apologize that I do not remember the name of the gentlemen who actually did the installation but he too was very professional. The unit works beautifully.

Steve arrive exactly on time to perform scheduled maintenance. He cleaned the filter, vacuumed out the HVAC, cleaned debris off the pilot light, inspected overall condition of HVAC, etc. He spent about 45 minutes working on it, then gave me a debriefing on how to care for it to get best energy use from it. I was happy to enroll in their preventative maintenance protection plan, especially given the age of our HVAC. Their extended plan offers better coverage than my home warranty, and is more cost effective (especially w/ their Angie's List discount!) when you consider two deductibles with our home warranty would be more expensive and more hassle.

My furnace stopped working on Thanksgiving eve. I called VITO on Friday morning and had a serviceman at my home before 10 AM. He quickly diagnosed that the igniter burned out. He had the part on the truck and replaced the part quickly. He was professional, not chatty or wasted time. I will use this company in the future.

Their price was good. They were very friendly over the phone. They could come out at a reasonable time, we wouldn't have to wait. I wasn't here for the work, so I am grading on the feedback I got from my family that was there. We will continue to use them in the future.

I rang HASI in the early afternoon on a Tuesday and they sent their technician out by 12:00 p.m. the next day (it wasn't an emergency, so we didn't request that they come the same day - which service they offer). In about an hour, he (Matt) expertly figured out what was going on and sorted things out. A good guy and excellent service!

Overall, it went fine. They arrived when they said they would and came close to the estimate they gave over the phone. It all seems to work and the serviceman gave me all the details over the phone (it is a rental and my renters let him in). Gave me suggestions for what I might do next but said no rush. I would use them again.

They were chosen because they were the only local contractor who had experience installing split AC units at that time. Lionel was very nice and informative in discussing the options with us. Two workers installed the units in one day. In general they did a good job but there were some little details that I was less than completely satisfied with. I spoke to Lionel about them and he came out fixed them himself. The units have worked very well. I have no regrets.

I contacted the company after reading reviews on Angie's list, since I was not clear whether they provided annual service contract - and yes they do. The person answering the phone, Therese, was extremely polite, pleasant, and efficient. She sent me a contract and made an appointment. The gentleman who came to check the state of the heating system called me 30 minutes before coming to let me know he was on the way. He was thorough, polite, and seems to really know what he was doing (how would I know?). He also gave me simple advice on various ways to increase energy efficiency. I am very happy I contacted this company - and signed a contract with them.

Technician arrived as scheduled, looked over the problem, and determined that the unit would have to be replaced. However, he also noted that there is mounting evidence that electrostatic air cleaners may be hazardous as they generate ozone and are not especially efficient. Instead of selling me on a new installation, he offered to switch the system over to a disposable high-efficiency filter system for about a fifth of the cost of a new electrostatic system - parts and labor included. We agreed and he completed the work (from start to finish, including diagnoses of the old system) in less than an hour.

They were very good with the job. They didn't try selling us something we didn't need. They fixed the way some of the gas pipes were set up in the house.

Based upon Angie's' nearly all A's history I contacted this company, identified the make and model of my old humidifier, asked for quote on proper replacement. The service manager suggested a make they customarily carried, pointed out the improvements over the make I was familiar with, price of $684 prior to Angie's $20 discount, said he could put one on the truck and install it in two days. Agreed to a visit and free estimate. The installer took a quick look, said it would cost $784, which resulted in a call back to the office. He learned that I had been quoted "last year's price" by mistake, but the service manager said he would stick by the lesser price for the same model. Then there was confusion over the application of the $20 Angie's coupon, but rather than argue I said I was disappointed in the ambiguous wording that he said did not include his work (not a "repair") or an attachment instead of a full system, but that he should go ahead anyway. Another call between him and the boss and there was a change of heart--the $20 discount would apply, net price on the invoice $664.

They were able to schedule the estimate promptly. The technician was on time and very helpful in explaining all the different options. He wrote an estimate on the spot which was very competitive however we ended up going with a different company but only because the estimates were basically equivalent and we had used the other company before.

It went fine. They were efficient. They came late once but other than that they were very professional. The quote was right on. They were very responsive, even on the weekends.

They were very responsive. Their workers were very nice and friendly but they did not clean up after themselves. The system is making a little noise so I feel I should follow up with them.

Went great. I needed new AC installed and needed to replace a 40 year old furnace. I got six estimates. Home Air's estimator was professional, clearly an expert in all things heating and cooling, answered my questions, and didn't even attempt to talk down to me (which, believe me, still happens). Gave me a detailed (and narrative) estimate - which is essential if you want to compare with others. Very competitive prices. Installation team was great. On time, cleaned the place up every day, worked on a Saturday to meet the schedule, and clearly comfortable dealing with questions and incidental issues, which tend to arise. Plus, a very nice person answers the phone, they call you back when they say they will, and they use e-mail (many companies say they do but don't). AC and furnace work fine. So, I got great service, solid work, and a good price - what more could you want?

They were very good, and very prompt. They were thorough and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him and I might use him. We are still looking for other estimates though.

The worker (Steve) looked for a part (a bearing) for my old A/C, without success. He gave me a quote on a new A/C (about $3500). Then he took the old one apart and oiled the bearing (who oils anything any more? Younger guys seldom even consider it.) It will eventually freeze up, but it might work another season or so. We were not ready to pay $3500. Total: $176 for one hour.

Great experience. I was impressed by this company from the get-go, when the estimator came out and was able to tell me all about the systems I already had, and gave me several cost-saving suggestions about how to fix them up. We decided on an overhaul anyway, and they gave us ideas about how to re-use certain pieces of equipment while still getting a top-notch installation. The installation itself went very smoothly, and the technician and installation manager both took my nit-picky suggestions very well, fixed anything I didn't like, and gave me what I asked for. I think that, overall, they did a real good job.

We know the A/C unit will have to be replaced but we're trying to limp thru until next spring. A/C wasn't cooling over the last 2 days. Called in the morning to request service and was told they could send someone between 11-3. About ten minutes later they called back and said they could have someone here within the hour. Arrived in about an hour, a little less, sometime between 11:00-11:30. Very thorough testing although I'm not sure it was necessary. Good advice on filters and balancing air flow between floors using dampers. Took a little more than an hour, charged for an hour plus materials. Seemed a little slow getting the work done but he did do a lot of testing and checkout. Very nice, very professional.

It went fine, although a bit expensive I think. However, I've never had work like this done before, so I have no point of comparison. They arrived on time and did everything they said they would do. The only problem was that the original contractor had used the wrong kind of gas line for a small part of the installation, and Home Air apparently didn't notice this (although they should have, it's obvious) and they reinstalled the incorrect gas line that had been used before. I have not brought this to their attention and given them an opportunity to fix it, but I'm sure they would if I asked.

It went well. He gave me a really good price compared to others. I was comfortable with him in my home. He was very honest and professional. Everything looked and worked well.

They were able to find that it was working properly and there were no problems in the drain lines. The problem was caused by a neighbor and we got them involved and got everything resolved. I was very happy.
