Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal coupon for SaveTree. They did seeding and weeding in the yard.

Description of Work: It has been some time since we used Sav-a-Tree and have since moved from the area. But our memory of the company is that of a professional and competent group. As the name implies, they are more interested in keeping trees healthy and safe than in just chopping them down.

Description of Work: They were on time, they cleaned up behind them and followed up with emails. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I hired them once more and will do so in the future.

Description of Work: I have never needed nor used a tree service before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Sav-A-Tree was great. Eric was very prompt for the estimate appointment. He explained everything and he actually told us one of our trees didn't need any trimming. He broke the quote up into two sections, needed now and can wait a bit. The day the work was done, they were fast and left no mess. The one thing they could improve upon is communicating when the work is going to happen. I was beginning to wonder if we had been forgotten when I got the call that the work was going to be the next day. For something like tree work, where we don't have to be there, it's not a huge deal and it certainly didn't stop me from using them again.

Description of Work: The Big Deal provided just a small bit of fertilizer. The guy came out and discussed with me what he could do for the price and at a later date the workers came out and did the job.

Description of Work: Original deal was for $140 for $300 worth of tree service, but they up-promoted the job saying that what I wanted done would cost $500 less the discount. So the total cost to me would therefore be $340 to trim a few trees and bushes. I tried to get them to cut the work back to $300 worth of work so I wouldn't have to pay more than the original $140 deal, but they kept promoting the extra work. I never met the representative from the company; he came to look at the job when I was gone, and dealt with me by phone after that. They did not trim a Japanese holly tree the way I wanted it, but other than that the work was satisfactory and everything was cleaned up. As tree companies go, this one is probably better than most, and all of them charge a lot. I'm not young, but from now on I'm sticking with my ladder, tree trimmer and Sear's cordless trimmer.

Description of Work: Had 2 well loved, yet dying trees cut down in our yard, Transplanted one young sapling (grown from a seedling of one of the dying trees) back to the original site! Very pleased with the professional, caring, and knowledgeable representative. Workers were punctual, respectful and very dedicated to the job at hand. We are very satisfied with this whole process. Description of Work: I have a large elm which shades my home and, along with window fans, serves as most of my A.C. It developed a hole at the base of the trunk, so I called this company for an assessment. I was assured by the arborist that the hole is not significant in this case. But when I explained that, because of the extreme weather we seem to be getting more of these days, I fear for my house as well as the tree, he prescribed a pruning which will reduce its vulnerability to high winds. The tree crew did a very careful job, avoiding damage to the numerous vines that cover my deck and being generally responsive to my needs and whims... all in good humor! I can't be sure yet about how it will stand up in a 100 mph gust, but it looks good and I am more hopeful.
