I hired Presidential Exteriors to replace a window that was broken. The entire process from sale, coordination, and installation was prompt, courteous, and professional. The new window matches our other existing windows perfectly and the install team did a custom profile in the exterior aluminum cladding to match our existing. We received a drive-by visit in early September from Presidential Exteriors canvassing the neighborhood and while we knew we were living on borrowed time, with our roof last replaced before 1991, we don't do business with companies we don't know and trust. In this case I said no thank you, and the canvasser made a last comment that struck a chord, to look them up online. After checking their references, even though a fairly new company, they had very positive feedback in Angie's List. I then called and made an appointment and my wife and I were impressed with the salesperson, Ben (we've never had someone climb around the unfinished attic in completing their assessment) for his knowledge, genuineness, detail, and approach, and we signed a contract to renovate our roofing with architectural tiles and to install wider gutters (all in preparation for global warming). Over two days, the crew of two performed an amazing job at removing multiple layers of very old shingles (resulting in less full shingles being removed, and mostly partially torn pieces) and the care and cleanup left the full area around the house and bushes almost clean. Understandably, with any re-roofing I cannot imagine you wouldn't have some small amount of cleanup and a few full handfuls of nails and staples over the following months. In our case, in the subsequent week we have found over 60 nails so far using our own magnetic broom (purchased at Home Depot). The third day found the crew finishing the roofing and the other contractors arriving to remove and install the new gutters. So far, the new roof and rain gutters look great and we're cautiously awaiting the approaching storm season.

They began our job the following week providing a daily schedule of time ranges with the type of work to be completed. The crews showed up promptly, announced themselves, and completed each phase on time, cleaning up behind themselves daily. The office made contact with us daily to get our feedback and the foreman walked us around the house to answer any questions we had. Their work was beautiful! Great workmanship and improvement over our last roof plus the piece of mind that it was done properly for the next 25 years plus. Not to mention the transferable guarantee should we ever sell our home. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!

Everything was excellent. The initial consulting process was thorough and informative. The work was scheduled within days of HOA approval and the replacement was completed in one day. The work and the cleaning afterwards was done in a professional manner. Great experience. Would highly recommend.

I just got my roof done yesterday, and these guys were awesome! They were very professional with great customer service from the beginning. They started the work early morning and got it done around lunch time, and I was pleasantly surprised to see them working so quickly and efficiently. They answered our questions throughout, cleaned afterwards, and everything went very smooth. I’m very pleased with the result and will definitely be reaching out to them for any future projects.

First person came by door-to-door to see if we wanted an estimate. Our house is 2000 sq feet (3/4 siding, 1/4 brick). Second person came to give us the estimate. It took at least three hours. The first estimate was more than $19K, but if we bought it right then, it would be $12K. We finally settled on $13.5K: $12K for siding and $1.5K for window and door caps. We were told that even though our window capping looked good, it would probably tear when they took off the old siding. We were told over and over what a great company it was. We were told everything that had aluminum would be replaced with vinyl, the new siding would be "practically seamless," and we were getting a great deal. A few days later someone visited us again. We went over the project and picked out the color. On the day of the installation, the crew started removing the old siding. Another "quality assurance" person showed up at noon to go over any questions. He again told us what a great deal we got. He looked around and went up on the roof. He also noticed that there was aluminum covering on front half of the rake on north side of the house but not the back half. He said there was an issue behind the gutters at the top of the house, that moisture could get between the gutters and the house, and that the job was really going to look incomplete without new coverings for all the rake. He gave us an estimate: normally it would be $3500, but if we bought it right then, it would be $2000. We agreed to pay for covering the rake. The window wrap did not rip when the aluminum was removed. The new window wrap looks exactly like what was already on the house. There are a lot of seams; even the smallest lengths have seams. Once the job was wrapping up, the last person showed up. We told him there were a lot of seams. He said they wouldn't be noticable further away from the house. There are a couple of places where the pieces behind the gutter were not cut correctly. I expect they will be able to fix this. Bottom line? We're glad we got new siding, but with all the high-pressure sales tactics and inconsistencies in presentation, we still feel like we got ripped off.

Every member of their team, from Evan in marketing, to Chris who discussed & planned my roof replacement, to Malcolm who managed the project, and Jake in quality assurance were helpful and professional, and excellent communicators. I always knew what was happening and costs were completely explained. The installation crew was fast, friendly, and efficient and cleaned up the work site completely. We are very pleased with the roof, the work, and this company.

Chris was our sale's rep and was very personable. He knew the companies products and was thorough in his presentation (about 45 minutes). There was no hard sell or pressure. He was accommodating in every way and answered all of our questions after the presentation. He gave us a great price. We had gotten another price and had signed a contract with a different company a few days before (high pressure sales, double talk, phoniness) and the difference between that appointment and meeting with Chris was night and day. The appointment with Chris was more like talking to a neighbor about a good window they had and not a sales pitch. I'm glad we cancelled our order with the first company and signed a contract with Presidential Exteriors.

Company was very responsive. Workmen were punctual, courteous, and quite skilled, especially when it came to cutting and installing replacement trim over front door and windows, to be coordinated with the gutters. We would be happy to work with them again, and recommend the company to others. Thanks for the high quality work!

Went well, they showed up on time and completed when they said they would. All workers were very professional and did an excellent job. Cleanup was done very well both during and after completion.

We first became aware of this company at a home expo. We were in need of additional insulation in our attic and were looking into a ridge vent being installed as well. During inspection, we realized we needed a roof too. We negotiated a fair price for all three requested jobs and work started about a month later. During the job, the workers mistakenly trashed our gutter helmets and some were damaged beyond repair. We discussed this with our project manager and they were ultimately replaced free of charge. During the insulation install, the workers dropped a hammer through our ceiling and left a hole. It was repaired very nicely within a couple of days and you can’t even tell it happened. The cleanup after was very thorough. I found 1 or 2 pieces of metal after, but that’s nothing compared to what I’ve seen other companies leave behind on jobs for my neighbors. Overall, my husband and I are very pleased with the work performed and the price paid. Aside from the somewhat pushy sales tactics on the front end, I’d highly recommend this company.

I had two old sliding glass doors where the wood around the glass was rotting. The needed to be replaced. I went to the Germantown Home Show and got three companies to come out and do an estimate. Presidential was easily the best choice of the three. The doors got ordered and a month or so later they arrived and were installed the next day. The crew from Presidential was professional and courteous. The door installation went quick and they cleaned up like they weren't even there. I am very pleased with my new doors.

Presidential Exteriors did a great job on our garage door and window installation. The installation for both was incredibly fast and the products are clearly high quality. We already notice a difference in the temperature of the rooms we had done upstairs versus the rooms with our original windows. We were very happy with the timeline of the project and the price and we will definitely have Presidential Exteriors do more of our windows in the future.

Presidential did an amazing job with our roof! They replaced all of the plywood and installed new shingles in less than a day. The new roof (and gutters!) look great. I definitely recommend this company. Plus, we plan to have them do our front door later this year. :)

Have not had the roof replaced yet. Just signed the contract yesterday and will be contacted on Monday regarding a start date. Was very impressed with the estimator, Ben, who was very thorough in his presentation of the company and the products they use. He was very courteous and arrived on time.

Great work installing new windows on an old townhouse. They did the extra work necessary. The front door is outstanding and secure. Much better fresh air, natural light and energy efficient now. Great follow up and value. Highly recommend.

Finding Presidential Exteriors was an answer to prayer! Our 46 year old home looks so beautiful after their Excellent work! You can see how bad it looked for long time in the 2 “before” pictures, and how perfect it looks now in the “after” photo. We continue to receive compliments, our house stands out in the neighborhood now. By far, -every crew member and worker they sent from beginning to end -are wonderful, knowledgeable, experienced, trustworthy, good people. They were extremely hard working even in bitter cold weather, always punctual, so respectful and nice. The whole company feels like they are our friends and it has been a truly enjoyable experience to meet each person. We also like the high quality of all the materials they use, and way they were gladly willing to do all the extra detailed things we wanted. We are so pleased with this company, the outcome couldn’t be any better!

The work was excellent. The team from Presidential was always polite, professional, efficient, and attentive to our questions and concerns. Details matter to us, and the details matter to Presidential as well. Minor cosmetic things were quickly addressed, and they took the time to walk through all of the work with us so we could inspect the finished product. Communication and logisitics was great throughout the process, and the work site was clean and safe. We are extremely pleased with the doors and gutters, and we plan to have Presidential Exteriors do our windows next year.

A bad storm that came through the area caused a leak in my roof and it became evident that a complete replacement was necessary. I called around and decided for several reasons to employ Ryan Weeks of Presidential Exteriors. In my conversations with Ryan, he was exceptionally responsive. Our first phone contact was when he returned my call from his car driving back from a few days vacation. He related very well, anticipated my needs, questions and concerns. I had the feeling that I was being offered the highest integrity, and I knew that they would not cut corners. Despite an unusually rainy August, Ryan kept me fully informed of his plans, and the job was done on time. I was not only impressed with Ryan’s management of the project, but the workmanship is also very good. I did not climb up on the rough, of course, but from all angles on the ground the shingles look tight, square, and neat. Any mess the workers might have made was completely cleaned up. I would recommend Presidential Exteriors to others and would be happy to work with them again on future improvements to my home.

Presidential Exteriors recently did 3 replacement projects on my 1951 home: roof, windows & gutters. Every employee had a great work ethic, energy & positive attitude. I truly appreciate the jobs they did.

We heard about Presidential Exteriors through a friend, who connected us with Ryan. He was very responsive and worked closely with us to schedule the best time for a walk through and estimate. Ryan was very professional and thorough in his explanations of all of the different considerations for selecting a door (and there are more than you ever thought possible). Presidential uses Pro Via doors and their app/program for designing doors. There are lots of choices and you can see a mock up of your door before you commit. In terms of price, Presidential was competitive with the other quotes we received for the purchase and installation of three exterior doors. The doors are custom made and took about 4 weeks to be made. Scheduling the install was very easy and the installation took about 7 hours. Vince installed our doors and was great! He explained what he was doing, left the work site very clean, was very professional, and friendly. Since the installation, we have not encountered any of our previous issues around our doors (water and air leakage, etc.), and they look very nice.

A salesman came to my door and was very aggressive and made me uncomfortable. I called the company and complained about the salesman and the manager did not seem to care. I would never do business with this company
