I set up an appointment to meet with Joe at 7 PM to go over the repair or replacement of a shattered window, a foggy window, and some windows with scratches and cracks. I was told that my husband needed to be here in case he had any questions, they wanted to address them at the same time. I told him that my husband would be on the premises, but that he had no interest in dealing with the window issues and trusted me to take care of it. I got a call at 6:30PM asking if I could reschedule for tomorrow at 7PM. I told Joe that in the dark it was hard to see the window cracks and fogginess and I would prefer the reschedule be during the day. He asked if my husband would be home during the day. I told him that he would not. He asked if I would reschedule when he would be there. He mentioned that the deed would include him and that he should be there. I told him that my home is in my trust (in my name). I told him that my husband trusted me to handle this situation. Then he said that the price would be dependent on making decisions about style and materials. I told him that I was not doing a remodel...only wanting to bring the windows back to their original condition. I wasn't wanting to change anything. Then he said that it was their company policy that both spouses be at the meeting. I told him that I found that to be offensive and sexist. He said that if my husband had set up the appointment, he would require me to be there. I reminded him that my husband had no interest in participating in the process. He then reiterated the "policy" requiring him to be on the premises. If this is the sort of company that you are happy dealing with...then go for it. They have good reviews. However, I find the policy to be offensive!

I cannot state how happy I am with the work done by Presidential Exteriors. After not having any luck getting other contractors to do the work I needed done, I became aware of Presidential Exteriors when they completed a siding project at a neighbor’s home. After looking at their reviews online and checking out their website, I contacted them online for a consultation. I was pleasantly surprised to hear from them within 24 hours, and to have a remodeling consultant (Kirill) at my home within a couple of days. Everyone was great to work with, listening to my wants/needs, and helping me with advice on a unique roof drainage issue. The team was also patient with me as I changed my mind a few times. Once the work started, I was even more impressed with them. All of the crews were great to deal with—very polite, courteous, and professional. They kept the workplace clean and kept me informed throughout the project. I try to stay actively involved, and everyone was more than willing to answer my questions and make sure I was happy. The project manager (Ryan) was great to work with and put up with my many questions, as were the people I dealt with at the main office (Tom and Chris). In the end, I was extremely happy with the work done by the crews. I had four doors and three windows replaced (thanks Matt, Eric, Jose, Mike T, Mike, Adam); and siding/trim replaced by Mr. Lee (a true artist in his trade) and Roberto; and various other construction repairs/drywall & painting by Juan and Jorge. I thank each of them and hope that I did not forget anyone. Also, a thank you to Jennifer at the main office who kept things going on the back end. I highly recommend Presidential Exteriors to others—they are a top notch company that genuinely cares about their customers, and have very much deserved the strong ratings they have earned on this site and others. I would definitely use them again if needed.

These guys are the best! They seriously care about their customers and really strive to make sure they deliver a great product. They were on time, quick, and clean. My new roof looks fantastic, and we are really glad we went with this local company. Buying a roof is not a "fun" expense, but I really feel like we got our money's worth: a quality new roof in 1 day, and then new trim capping the next day. They even installed new bathroom exhaust vents and HVAC exhausts. Our house looks brand new. You might get a cheaper rate elsewhere, but these guys do not skimp on quality of product, 50-year warranty, or craftsmanship. They even come back to inspect and follow up to make sure we are completely happy with the services provided! Talk about great customer service! The whole experience was so easy. The salesman/inspector was not pushy, and provided a very reasonable quote for what we needed. They also replaced all our rotted wood in the roof/trim.

James Stewart was the project manager and very attentive to my requirements. Everytime I called their office, everyone was polite and answered my questions and followed up with me when it was needed. They were very responsive to my requests, and at the end, everything came out well. I am satisfied with the work done.

Replacing a roof can be an intimidating project but Presidential Exteriors put us at ease. We were guided through the process and everything went smoothly. The roof looks phenomenal and it's clear the crew put a lot of attention to detail into the job. Very happy and would highly recommend Presidential Exteriors! Every one of the guys who I interacted with from Presidential Exteriors was super polite and professional. They responded to my calls quickly and came out to check on the work after it was completed to make sure I was satisfied. When there was a mixup and my new gutters were delivered to the wrong house, James got on the phone right in front of me and made sure I was rescheduled for the next day. Dino was also great to work with-- he patiently walked me through the details of my contract and explained what I was choosing. They did an excellent job on our house and their prices were very fair. I would use Presidential Exteriors for any home improvement project.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY, I own my house no one else. I had an appt. setup with them to give me an estimate. I told them prior that my wife has nothing to do with this project and would not be there. he said no problem. So about two hours before the appt. another guy calls asking me if my wife would be there also. I had to tell them AGAIN that I am the one in charge of this project.Be wary of high-pressure sales tactics with contractors that insist on both decision-makers being present upfront, only time you need all decision-makers at the initial meeting is when you’re trying to do the old-fashioned one-day close. This is a shady practice. I have had 11 contractors in the northern Virginia area come out and give me quotes some good and some really high ones, but they came without having my wife present. Look, I can buy a car on my own, vote, hold a job and purchase my own house if I want to. But I can't get a quote on new windows unless my Wife is home? STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Wonderful ! Dave, the owner, helped me choose the perfect door since there are more types than you can imagine! I had a unique situation with water seeping in and the 2 installers Matt and Juan were so professional. It was obvious they knew exactly what they had to do to solve the problem . I am in the process of beginning a new project with them and looking forward to it !

If you are looking to upgrade the curb appeal at your house, look no further and hire Presidential Exteriors. My wife and I hired David Lupton + his team on an exterior upgrade project We couldn't be happier with the outcome. And better yet, they delivered the project on time, while always keeping me up to date on progress + all of his team members were awesome to interact with. All around a great experience and would hire them again.

It went according to time table. Crew arrived when they were supposed to. They did a good job cleaning up. Malcom was a great project manager. He answered any questions or concerns I had.

Presidential Exteriors did a great job! The project managers were very professional and courteous as they took measurements and scoped out the project to replace our home office windows. Evan was very good about keeping in touch with us as our scheduled installation date approached. The team really went above and beyond during the installation. They were prompt and courteous and did not disturb our family as we worked/went to school from home. The extent of wood rot in our window frames was greater than anticipated, and Malcolm informed us early on about what he was seeing. He told us that the extra work would come at no additional charge to us. He asked if it was okay if the one-day job turned into a two-day job given the additional wood replacement that had to be done. However, his team hustled and wrapped up the entire project in a single day, which was much appreciated. The windows themselves look great. We did not realize until after the project was done how much of a draft we were living with, but now our home office is much warmer and more comfortable. The windows look great. It feels like we had gone to the optometrist and got a new glasses prescription, and now we're seeing the world more clearly than we thought was possible.

Presidential Exteriors is a great company to do a roof replacement with! We had our roof replaced in early February 2021 and we couldn’t be happier. The whole team was amazing to work with. Nate worked closely with us every step of the way to make sure we were happy and getting the best product and prices possible. He really made us feel like family. Elena was great at communicating every step of the process. The day of installation team was amazing. They dropped off the equipment one day before the project even though it had snowed the night before. The morning they came to do the roof, we still had ice on the roof, but instead of delaying the project, they scraped all of the ice off our roof and still got the whole roof done in one day! Our new roof is great and we couldn’t be happier. We very highly recommend Presidential Exteriors for any roof inspection and roof replacement. We will absolutely be keeping them on our list for any future projects with our house.

From Project cordinator Evan to Project manager Vick this company has a way of finding dedicated staff. Their crews are amazing and incredibly efficient with their skills. I contracted Presidential Exteriors to replace all the windows in my townhome a few weeks ago. We were a little worried about the timing due to covid, but we couldn't handle the cold air coming in anymore. Everyone wore masks the whole time and could not have been more polite and professional regarding our concerns during the initial meeting and during the installation. The project manager Ryan W. was more than attentive during the install, (which only took half a day). When installation was done and the site cleaned up, Ryan even made sure we knew how to properly operate the windows. Elena (who was our coordinator) and Ryan worked well together keeping us informed and in the loop the whole way. Very well. It was a really cold day when the installation took place, but the workers braved the cold and wind and did everything in one day. We are very pleased with the results! The back door and garage door look SO much better! They even promised to follow up on an extra door stop that we had thought we were buying but was out of stock when the order was filled. Great job!

The work proceeded and was completed on time. Workers were professional, took great care to protect the areas of our house pursuant to ingress, egress, and placement of the hose. Utilized the least intrusive means to perform all work, cleaned up the affected areas and hauled away any debris. A manger came to our house after work was completed and accompanied me to review the work. We were very pleased with the professionalism and care that the company took to execute the project.

I had the roof and gutter helmets on my residence replaced by Presidential Exteriors and I was pleased not only with the quality of the work, but I was impressed by the end to end customer service from everyone I encountered from Presidential Exteriors - enough so that I wrote a complimentary email to the management. There were many customer touchpoints during the brief project: sales, insurance coordinator, material delivery, installation, project management and back office support. Everyone was courteous, professional, competent, efficient and responsive. It was clearly evident, across the board, that the entire team was dedicated, hard working and customer focused.. The project took two days for the roof, and a few hours on day three for the gutter helmets. Back office coordination and follow up was excellent and the project was on schedule and ran smoothly. They left the place spotless. Price was competitive and I am very happy with the results. I had over a half-dozen companies solicit to do the roof repairs. I am glad I selected Presidential Exteriors and would recommend them to my friends.

Extremely well. Workers were professional and courteous. Cleaned up extremely well. In fact came back a second day to do a second sweep that included metal detection to get all the nails. Also, they reviewed their own work and were not satisfied with the flashing installation so they came back a couple days later with new material to replace it. No additional cost to us. Overall, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new roof.

The roof was replaced in a day and the gutters the next. The crew was in and out and all the interactions we had were pleasant on professional. We have a sunsail and it required them to install some anchors by doing some custom work included in the cost of the new roof. Everything went mostly according to plan other than needing to shift schedule due to weather. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Presidential Exteriors had door-to-door solicitors offering to schedule free estimates. I scheduled one. During the estimate evaluation, after surveying the exterior, the consultant (salesman) and I went into the attic, performed a cursory tour around the access area of the attic ladder, and found leaks and structural concerns (e.g. cracked trusses and water-damaged rafters). The consultant used the leak and structural concerns, in addition to the general estimated age of the roof, to push hard for the case replace the entire roof, with the promise and expectation that the roof installers would inspect the rest of the attic for any other potential structural issues we did not tour during the estimate evaluation. I accepted them for the job since I considered the issues serious enough to wrap up sooner than later. For the evaluation experience, think car dealership sales tactics but at the premises of your own home, e.g a call the manager to lower the price, same-day commitment discounts, etc. Their operation team called to schedule the job a week later. The roof installers came by two weeks after the evaluation, and 'finished' the job in two days. The work on the exterior roof itself looked good. However, even though I inquired multiple times about making sure they would inspect the internal structure while installing the new roof and was constantly assured they would, when I inspected the attic as the work crew was wrapping up on the second day, I found that even a number of internal structural issues that the consultant specifically pointed out were not addressed at all (the water-damaged areas were handled, however). In fact, during the install, they were more concerned about more trivial matters from my perspective, like removing cupolas and unused satellite dishes. Understandably, I was upset, and I called with this complaint. They sent the project manager out two days later and we went up to the attic and inspected the entire attic fully this time (I did an inspection of my own before the meeting). I asked if they had a structural engineer certify their repairs; they replied they do not, but adhered to best practices. They scheduled a crew to come out the next day. The second crew came, and I instructed them as to the work needed; they had a general sense of the job, but unfortunately not the specifics. They initially sistered one side of trusses that were cracked or weak/compromised; I requested that they sister both sides (I actually even discussed this with the project manager when he came earlier), and the crew obliged. I signed paperwork accepting the completion after verifying the work. Overall, the work done addressing the structural issues felt impromptu, though perhaps ultimately sufficient. Clearly, Presidential Exteriors has some communication issues across their operation. Make sure you know exactly what you want, and be ready to reiterate multiple times. They were interested in selling a roof and primarily only a roof, but used other related issues they have less experience with to sell the product - and initially did not even address those issues. I would have been much happier if they had referred/contracted a structural engineer to first handle/design the interior structure repair and then take on the roofing install and/or structure repair themselves. With regard to the workmanship of simply the new exterior roof itself, I have no complaints. However, they oversold their services in the end, which left a unpleasant aftertaste, despite me being ultimately satisfied that they performed the work agreed upon to the best of their ability.
