Did a fantastic job tiling our sunroom/porch. They laid down subfloor first, and then tile in a checkerboard pattern with a border. Ronal visited the space to provide a competitive estimate, and then he and his crew completed the project in three visits. Ronal was very communicative throughout, and addressed minor concerns quickly. They did a great job, and I would easily hire them again!!

Excellent work. Ronal and his team did a significant amount of work over multiple weeks, and were always very professional and respectful. In the course of renovating multiple bathrooms and doing other construction, there was a water issue (it was the county’s fault), but the team didn’t leave until the county came out and fixed it; they were not going to leave us without water. Overall, phenomenal service, would definitely recommend.

I initially hired Penate Tile & Home Improvement to install floor tile, but after they did such nice work and were so professional I decided to ask them to do a larger job replacing windows, framing out window wells, and replacing and extending stairs. They did an equally fine job on this project as well.

This company is not reliable or responsible . They came into my house and started a project, and never came back to finish the job. Which I had already paid $3, 884.00 toward the project. He broke my shower door that was only a little over a year old, and he agree to pay for the broken door, and he was suppose to buy the tile for the floor, which was to be included in the payments I made. I am assuming he realized that the profit he would make to complete the project was not worth his return because he had already gotten the bulk of the money. Last conversation we had was to let him know when the tile came in, and I did. I reached out to him six times through text, and left him voice messages because he does not answer his phone, and maybe that is why he let all calls go straight to voicemail. I did not have a clue that he would not be responsible to complete the job. My last text to him was asking him to just pay me for the shower door he broke, and he still did not respond.

The work was top notch at a reasonable price. Very satisfied with the results !

Let me say Ronal is exceptional. Before I contacted him I had received other quotes & those contractors did listen and were trying to get rid of my window. Ronal listened, worked with me & was not trying to make his job easier by getting rid of my bathroom window but worked to figure out how to make what I wanted work. This company finds alternatives to give you what you want!! The tile & floor work in my bathroom is phenomenal!! The workmanship & attention to detail by Ronal & his team was amazing. The price was great. My bathroom was actually a closet that was turned into a bathroom by the previous owner & it needed a total renovation. Ronal & his team took my vision idea & turned it into far more than I imagined. I'm not over exaggerating. You know when you have an idea but someone takes that vision and executes past you what you expected, well that's what happened. My bathroom is my oasis now & i love it!! I highly recommend Penate Tile & Home Improvement and I will be higher then to renovate our other 3 bathrooms. The team was on time, Ronal kept me informed through renovation steps and he answered all of my annoying questions :-). Ronal was very professional, courteous & personable. Likewise I will say about his team as well. Again, I highly recommend, you will be beyond satisfied with the workmanship, attention to details & creativity!!

We had bathroom tile nightmare repair and he came on time, priced it competitively while still being reasonable. He showed up on time everyday, did beautiful work, cleaned up after himself and did what he said he would do and finished on time. I will not only use again but will recommend to friends and colleagues.

I did a lot of research on tile installers and have considered many different companies. However, after reading the reviews for Penate Tile & Home Improvement I knew I wanted to work with them. I’m very lucky that Ronal was affordable and was able to install next day! We couldn’t believe it! I have to first say that they were perfectionists, clean, and so very efficient. They paid attention to the leveling of the porch, the design of the titles and the overall aesthetic. I’m absolutely blown away by how beautiful it is. It is more beautiful than I can imagine. Thank you so much for making my vision come to life.

Ronal and his assistant did a great job. They were punctual, communicative, and did a beautiful job repairing our kitchen wall and installing a tile backsplash with hexagonal tiles, and leaving the area sparkling clean. Would definitely recommend.

Not satisfied with the overall service. They refuse to return to fix the problems that occur. I will not use this contractor again.

My basement floor was previously engineered hardwood and was ruined from water damage. Ronal had the floor removed and replaced it with tile and new quarter round to finish it off. The project was difficult: Ronal had to coordinate with other contractors in the house and I wasn't on site for any of it. His work was amazing. It exceeded my expectations and they were so fast!

We could not be happier with the work of Ronal and his team. They were friendly, prompt and did great quality work. They were great at communication- from walking me through everything that needed to be done- to letting me know when they would arrive- it was a pleasure to work with them. Our bathroom looks great and the whole process was a breeze. I highly recommend them and will definitely call them for any future projects.

Ronal and his team are excellent in their trade. They were very attentive to our wants/needs and made sure we could do all that we wanted to do for our project. They explained options and I was impressed with their knowledge and that they took the time to inform us about details. Overall very easy to communicate with and fast responses. The tile they installed is perfect, everything is 100%, from the design (layout), spacing, attention to detail, and finishing touches. They also cleaned up everyday so I never felt like I was living in a renovation. I would absolutely give him another call for a project.
