Ronal works with his little brother, wife, and another bud. All are very nice and respectful of your home. We had a custom shower install 10 yrs ago, but after excessive use by the whole family (4 of us every day...) and a still-settling house, it developed a leak in the lower shower corner. We only needed the lower 18" of tile wall to be replaced (it's still available), a new shower pan and floor, structure inspected and repaired if needed, and we added a new bathroom floor and toilet to the job. No plumbing, electrical, or cabinetry were needed as it was all still kinda fancy and in great shape. Ronal was the only response out of about 10 from Angi's list that would agree to do this partial bathroom repair/remodel. ALL THE OTHERS offering estimates demanded to do a full gut and replacement. His attention to detail is excellent, and the grout colors and gaps match perfectly. We are having him back for our downstairs bathroom and are recommending him to any others needed tile-based home improvement. 10 out of 5 stars!

Ronal did an excellent job on my kitchen backsplash. He was very thorough before beginning making sure he knew what we wanted done and even offered suggestions when we were unsure. I would definitely use him again.

Ronal and his team did an amazing job! I hired them to repair and complete and unacceptable tile installation by another contractor and they made me regret hiring the other guy all together!! The workmanship was top notch and the finished product is a delight to look at. They are also proficient with drywall repair and finishing and any bath fixture removal and installation. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for any type of renovation work. Their pricing is affordable and they are always willing to go that extra mile to make sure the job is installed correctly. Thank you Penate team!!

Great service. Was fast to respond to calls and good response time to texts. Payment was via Zelle (by his request). For an experienced contractor, he was unaware of the daily money limits of Zelle (max 1500 a day and max 3000 every 3 business days) and how Zelle only processes/deposits money on business days (no weekends). I talked him through it and there were no issues with the payments. Had to break it down into smaller increments and pay as the project progressed to keep within the Zelle limits. Reasonable price and good quality work. Very fast turnaround. Quote the same day as contact with work starting the next day. Work would have been finished in one week if I had greater availability but was done in less than two, working around my schedule. Work was one day leveling (plus drying for a couple days) and tile placement and grouting over two days. Good communication throughout and very helpful. Price of job was due to me having provided the tile. Would recommend/hire again.

I had a flawless experience with Penate Tile. I’d put of replacing my kitchen backsplash for a while thinking it would be an ordeal but they made it incredibly painless and really went above and beyond. They were incredibly easy to work with and did a stellar job. I wish I’d hired them much, much sooner.

Penate Tile is great, I had them refurbish a basement room and build a screen porch and both projects were excellent. On time, affordable, and great craftsmanship.

Did a fantastic job tiling our sunroom/porch. They laid down subfloor first, and then tile in a checkerboard pattern with a border. Ronal visited the space to provide a competitive estimate, and then he and his crew completed the project in three visits. Ronal was very communicative throughout, and addressed minor concerns quickly. They did a great job, and I would easily hire them again!!

Excellent work. Ronal and his team did a significant amount of work over multiple weeks, and were always very professional and respectful. In the course of renovating multiple bathrooms and doing other construction, there was a water issue (it was the county’s fault), but the team didn’t leave until the county came out and fixed it; they were not going to leave us without water. Overall, phenomenal service, would definitely recommend.

Father and son team. Worked well. Job well done. Keep in mind that the company priced approximately 20% higher than others. However I selected them based on reputation.

I initially hired Penate Tile & Home Improvement to install floor tile, but after they did such nice work and were so professional I decided to ask them to do a larger job replacing windows, framing out window wells, and replacing and extending stairs. They did an equally fine job on this project as well.

This company is not reliable or responsible . They came into my house and started a project, and never came back to finish the job. Which I had already paid $3, 884.00 toward the project. He broke my shower door that was only a little over a year old, and he agree to pay for the broken door, and he was suppose to buy the tile for the floor, which was to be included in the payments I made. I am assuming he realized that the profit he would make to complete the project was not worth his return because he had already gotten the bulk of the money. Last conversation we had was to let him know when the tile came in, and I did. I reached out to him six times through text, and left him voice messages because he does not answer his phone, and maybe that is why he let all calls go straight to voicemail. I did not have a clue that he would not be responsible to complete the job. My last text to him was asking him to just pay me for the shower door he broke, and he still did not respond.

The work was top notch at a reasonable price. Very satisfied with the results !

Let me say Ronal is exceptional. Before I contacted him I had received other quotes & those contractors did listen and were trying to get rid of my window. Ronal listened, worked with me & was not trying to make his job easier by getting rid of my bathroom window but worked to figure out how to make what I wanted work. This company finds alternatives to give you what you want!! The tile & floor work in my bathroom is phenomenal!! The workmanship & attention to detail by Ronal & his team was amazing. The price was great. My bathroom was actually a closet that was turned into a bathroom by the previous owner & it needed a total renovation. Ronal & his team took my vision idea & turned it into far more than I imagined. I'm not over exaggerating. You know when you have an idea but someone takes that vision and executes past you what you expected, well that's what happened. My bathroom is my oasis now & i love it!! I highly recommend Penate Tile & Home Improvement and I will be higher then to renovate our other 3 bathrooms. The team was on time, Ronal kept me informed through renovation steps and he answered all of my annoying questions :-). Ronal was very professional, courteous & personable. We had bathroom tile nightmare repair and he came on time, priced it competitively while still being reasonable. He showed up on time everyday, did beautiful work, cleaned up after himself and did what he said he would do and finished on time. I will not only use again but will recommend to friends and colleagues.
