They were outstanding. The technician was timely, polite, and did all work as requested. They accepted the Angie's List coupon. The company placed a follow up call the next day to evaluate the technician and work.

Very positive. All employees were polite, Guy, the electrician was on time for the estimate and the actual work. Guy was very thorough, made sure that the electrical codes were followed, even calling to check about one he had a question on rather than guessing, and his bill was actually lower than the estimate. He cleaned up after himself. I am going to use this company again to install the rest of my new lighting as soon as I obtain the fixtures. I will recommend Jim's to other people.

When calling to schedule an appointment, a very kind person took the time to explain the process and procedure for free estimates. I was requesting a plumber for non-emergency issues and was given an appointment. Two days before the appointment, the plumber called to reschedule, leaving a message with a callback number. My husband called back and a rude woman scolded him for calling the wrong number. She gave him the direct number to the plumber and we rescheduled. The plumber arrived on time and was very thorough. He was friendly and really knew his stuff. He prepared a quote for us (higher than we thought, over $5,000, but we hadn't actually called plumbers before). The only confusion was with the ''free'' estimate (it had been described as free by the woman I originally spoke with) but the plumber said there was a new charge of $30 to cover all estimates. We would have paid had we been told about it, but because we hadn't, the plumber waived the fee.

Very professional, though the rep was over 2 hours late (he did call and let me know he was going to be late). The rep did a thorough inspection, and also gave me some helpful hints to boost the output of my unit. I'll definitely use them again.

Our water heater was 23 years old, and began leaking around noon. I found out around 12:45 and I called Jim's. They sent Harold over. They said that he would be there before two and he arrived at about 1:45. He went and got a new water heater and it was completely installed by 4:00. He was polite, knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately, the water heater he installed was defective. He came out and replaced it the next day. I'm not certain that the price was as low as it could have been, it was considered an emergency and obviously we didn't have time to shop around. However, the ease in which everything was handled was priceless.

I felt extremely grateful when the electrician called me (I was at work) to tell me that everything was working fine and that he did not have to fix anything. I was so appreciative of his honesty. And, he hung my dining room fixture for a nominal fee. Thank you very much, Jim', Inc. and I would certainly call you again.

Our plumber, Mike, was on time and called prior to his arrival to confirm. We had two jobs to be completed. One was to attach the hot/cold water lines to a new laundry sink and the other was to fix a leaking bathroom sink. I thought that the trap in the bathroom sink would need to be replaced, but Mike correctly diagnosed the problem as a partially blocked piped and fixed the leak simply by snaking the drain. He did a great job attaching the water lines to the laundry sink and even corrected a substandard job done by a previous plumber. They charge a flat rate fee to snake a drain ($306.00). I've never had this done before, but it seemed like a lot (maybe not?). However, attaching the water lines cost $300.00 and seemed very reasonable (all pipes were exposed), and we got a $70.00 multiple-job discount. Overall, I was very pleased and would highly recommend this company. Mike was neat, explained what needed to be done, and was correct in his assessment and completion of the jobs.

As far as the overall experience, the price was the only disappointment. I hadn't expected to pay as much as I did. I guess it is partly my fault for not getting more estimates. There was also a sales pitch about a value package for future services, before the work started, which I didn't expect. It was connected to the price I paid for the water heater.

The service provided was outstanding. Mike, the plumber, was on time, very polite, and very knowledgeable. The price was reasonable, and I will call Jim's Inc. again for my future plumbing services.

Overall, a good experience. The plumber didn't quite get it right the first time, and it was still leaking. As I was about to call back the next morning, a rep from Jim's called to check on my satisfaction. I said it was still leaking. The plumber came back out by noon that day to make some adjustments, and now it works beautifully.

The plumber did run a little late but called me and told me when he would arrive. He was extremely professional, neat, clean and did a great job in a timely manner. I will definitely use this company again when and if I have plumbing issues.

THE TECHNICIAN, H.P., WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS. HE QUICKLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM, AND TOLD US AHEAD OF TIME HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST, REGARDLESS OF THE TIME IT ENDS UP TAKING. THEY QUOTE THEIR PRICES FROM A STANDARD LIST SO THERE ARE NO SURPRISES. TECHNICIAN PUTS COVERS OVER HIS SHOES TO MINIMIZE DIRT TRACKED THROUGH THE HOUSE.

THEY MADE SEVERAL VISITS TO THE PROPERTY, IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS REQUESTS, AT DIFFERENT TIMES FOR REPAIRS AS THEY CAME UP IN THE PROCESS OF PREPARING TO PUT THE PROPERTY ON THE MARKET. THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME and PERFORMED ALL WORK THOROUGHLY and PROFESSIONALLY EVERY TIME.

THEY WERE WONDERFUL TO DEAL WITH. THEY CALLED TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME. THEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS AND WERE ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM ON THE FIRST VISIT. I HAVE ALSO USED JIM'S INC. TO FIX A LEAKING WATER SUPPLY TO MY REFRIGERATOR AND HAD A SIMILAR POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
