(1) Finished installing one week ahead of scheduled time. (2) Notified ahead of installation time. (3) Job started around 3 pm and finished at 6:10. (4) When I notified them about the light switch has not been installed, they came back to install it right away. They were prompt and professional. So far I am very happy with the job.

They were phenomenal. They came out within a few days of my calling. The guy who was here was so concerned because the garage was literally ready to fall and could have killed somebody, and we have a four-year old kid. He stabilized it and made it safe so that we didn't have to worry that it was going to kill our kid. This is a house that was built in 1978 and it had the originally, very hard and heavy wood garage door and it was literally falling off. He said that my niece could have been killed if she had gone in there since it would have fallen down on her. He made sure that no one got hurt between the time that we gave the order and their coming to estimate it and I very much appreciated that. We got a brand new garage door within the exact period of time indicated by him. They installed it beautifully. I had asked for special materials in case it got dented or if I needed to repair something on it, and they sent it although it was not in their contract to do so. They were great. They are very nice and good people.

Our tension spring snapped. Gaithersburg garage was able to come out (that day if I wanted) to replace it. They gave the cost over the phone. When the repairman got here, he also added a brace/support to the door.

This was an excellent service experience! GGD gave me an excellent quote for the job, and when I told them that my current doors were non-functional, they rearranged their work schedule to install my new doors as soon as they took delivery of them. GGD arrived on time, the technician was clean, pleasant and knowledgable, and he worked without a break until the job was fiished. The technician explained various aspects of the installation to me, went over the features of the door and left my garage clean and neat. best of all, there was no atemp to "upsell" other doors, features, or new door openers.

This was my third experience with Gaithersburg Garage Door in the 19 years I have owned my house and each time has been a pleasure. This time the problem was two-fold, a broken spring and a problem in my 30-year-old door opener. Their repairman (Justin) replaced the spring. He diagnosed the problem with the opener. Two small gears need to be replaced. Replacements aren't available for such an old opener, but Justin said he would try to scavenge parts from any old openers that his company replaces in the near future. In the previous two visits, many years ago, they displayed the same willingness to repair my old door opener. Rather than just discard my antique for a newer model, Gaithersburg Garage Door employees seem to enjoy the challenge and appreciate the sturdiness of the old equipment..

They did a good job before. There was just some issue and so I asked them to replace it. They came back today and did that. The price was very good. They stand behind their work. We were disappointed with some minor things and they went right ahead and ordered new parts. They came back pretty promptly and had the new parts installed. They were professional. We thought that their quality of the doors, their reputation and the lifetime warranty made them the best choice. They were pretty responsive and timely.
