I emailed Dan for an estimate and he responded within 30 minutes. He was able to send guys out to our place within 48 hours even though we did not have an emergency. His guys were about an hour late due to a previous job, but when they arrived they were pleasant, courteous and worked very hard. While their completed work was excellent, it was clear that they were sort of figuring things out as they went along to some degree which ended up taking time (and they charge by the hour), for instance they had some trouble installing the garage door opener, and my guess is that if we had had home depot install the device that it would have been cheaper (a $106 flat rate, rather than the hourly rate), but it would have taken home depot nearly two weeks to come out, so we were OK with paying a premium for such excellent service from Dan's company.

He was supposed to be at my house on Thursday May 8th at 8am and never showed up. I still have not heard anything from him and it is Monday the 12th.

Great - he was timely, polite, professional, honest, and prices are quite reasonable. I will definitely use his services again for many other jobs.

Dan Millen was very responsive in returning my call. We agreed on a date and time and his handyman arrived as scheduled. I had been given a call to confirm that he was on the way to my house. The representative who carried out the work was very pleasant and did a professional job. He was neat (removed his work boots) and had the proper tools to do a great job.

The crew arrived ten minutes early. They took the banister off the stairway to paint the walls and the walls in the foyer, fixed the bedroom lock, and installed the latch plate for the deck screen door. Dan was able to match the color of the walls since we did not have any of the old paint left. The match came out perfectly. They also hung all the pictures requested professionally. The pictures and painting were level and centered just like a professional picture hanger or interior decorator would hang them. The crew was courteous and clean as well as professional.

Overall the work was OK, but there could have been more attention paid to details. The job turned out to be more complicated than expected, so the final cost was considerably more expensive than the original estimate. The company solved the problems, but we had to make several appointments to get them to come back to clean up several loose ends (caulking, clean up, loose sink, loose faucet mounting). We would have liked for the clean up to be better - lots of grout, sealant, drywall compound, etc.

I was very pleased with the work he did for me because he did a really good job. He was very friendly, handy, and very productive. The only bad thing about him is that he didn't return any of my phone calls for the past three months. He did an excellent job, but for some reason he just won't answer my phone calls or even return them later. If he were to call back, I would give him another chance because of the good job he did for me before.

Phone calls were returned in a timely manner and everyone showed up when they said they would. All work was done very well. The workmen were very courteous and nice and a pleasure to have around. They were clear about how they would do each job and kept their word. Pricing was very fair. I would highly recommend this service and plan to use in the future.

I have an old dishwasher that needed to be pulled out, but was blocked by the new floors put in. Dan came on time for the estimate, and on the dot for the removal. He was efficient, polite and set up the connections so the delivery people would easily be able to hookup the new dishwasher. I especially appreciate the fact that the removal had minimal impact to my floors or counters.

He had to do some carpentry work on the window and on the flooring in order to install the range. His painting was very good. He was very prompt and called the night before to tell us what time he would be coming. He was very courteous and polite and I thought his price was very reasonable.

Satisfactorily. Response was prompt, person called re a slight delay in keeping appointment. He was very personable, efficient, did good good work. I thought the fee was a bit high especially when adding the service charge. I will call again but for a bigger job to justify expense.

Not well. Dan promised to send me an estimate via email and I never received it. When I called to tell him so, he swore he sent it to me and would send it again. Again, I did not get it. I called his cell phone and left a message to fax it to me, but he never did. I eventually had to find someone else. Granted, this job was small potatoes, but if he really didn't want to do the work, he could have just told me so.

Work was performed on time and results were fine. Workers are prompt, pleasant, capable, helpful and neat. Price for the job was high but I decided getting it done well and right was most important. This contractor will do those smaller jobs the other guys might not touch.

My overall experience with this company was positive. They kept in touch with me after the pressure washing. We had to wait about 10 days until we were sure there was no rain in the forecast for at least 24 hours before applying the stain. They did a careful and thorough job. The price Dan charged was definitely very competitive. It was less than I paid several years ago. The former treatment was with an inferior product that barely lasted one year before requiring re-application. I would recommend Dan for handyman type of jobs without hesitation.

The crew not only did a great job completing the work we identified but also found that upon inspection of the deck - a number of board support joist were missing - which could result in a serious accident. the deck crew fixed the floorjoists and added additional supports. We were very pleased with their work and the price.

Our experience was very good. Dan was reliable, on-time, very clean, and the work was superior. I will continue to use his crew for future jobs.

Every aspect of the work was completed to my satisfaction. Work was done on time, and the men were helpful and skilled.

Dan showed up on time to prepare an estimate and completed most of the work for us prior to move-in. However, there were several items that were left unfinished and he (a) failed to show up at the appointed to complete the job and (b) stopped answering or returning phone calls. I eventually gave up.

Came with an assistant, he made a hole in one of the new cabinet doors. Told me he was responsible and would replace door. He said the company wasn't responding to him. After months of waiting and calling, I ordered the door and when ready informed him. He has never called me back or returned any of my calls or emails.

Dan and his employees were all very professional. Everyone was very polite and kind. They were concerned with cleanliness, quality, and customer satisfaction. Dan was always quick to answer his phone whenever I called. Dan and his employees were very knowledgeable about everything.
