They drew up a premium option, at a premium price. For me, this wasn't what I was looking for, not for a rental. The options looked beautiful, but would not work for me.

The designer gave us a design and installed the drawers. But the design was not very practical and functional. We ended up suggesting another design.

The design for the bedroom closets were pretty much standard. Shelves for 1/3 of the closet and dual hanging bars for the remaining 2/3's of the closet. The upper portion of the closet will store extra blankets and a pillow. The front foyer closet was customized to accomodate jackets, a much needed pantry and to store an upright vacuum cleaner. This re-design takes care of going to the basement for pantry items and lugging the vacuum cleaner between floors. Closet Stretchers took our idea, measured and converted this 2' deep X 5' wide foyer closet to a much more practical use of space for this townhouse. 3 employees arrived on a Saturday morning and within 90 minutes had a 3 closets outfitted perfectly. The employees measured and cut everything as designed. They even made niches in the shelves to accomodate speaker wires that were passing through the back side of the closet. We were very pleased with the durability and construction of the storage space.

The sales rep was on time and quick, he gave clear pricing, and quickly documented a clear deliverable. In follow up he offered a discount to bring the price down from $700 closer to our goal price of $500. Scheduling the work went smoothly. For the installation, the workers showed up on the wrong day, and had a hard time communicating with our neighbors to let them know what was wrong. We were able to work with the office staff to reschedule the work. Installation went well, and was quick and smooth.

Our closets were a mess. My wife's had actually broken loose, dumping clothes all over the floor. We knew had to make better use of these. Our designer, Nicole, was on time and got right to work asking us what we were hoping to get out of the closet redesign. My wife and I each had different needs for our closets and Nicole's design exactly captured what we were looking for in each. For instance, my wife doesn't have a lot of long things to hang and we wanted to maximize the amount of closet dedicated to shorter things that could hang on upper and lower levels. Nicole's design was spot on. The initial estimate was $1,275 but Morry, one of the managers, called and dropped it to $1,095 and offered to split the payment over three months on a credit card. This made Closet Stretchers nearly $1,000 less than the next lowest estimate and the drawers and shelves they installed seem sturdy enough-no loss of quality compared to other companies we got estimates from. Installation was a week later. Crew was an hour and a half late, but it was an ugly day with freezing rain and I'm sure that slowed them down. Still they should have called to let me know, rather than me having to call them. Having said that, once the crew showed up, they were all business and were done both closets in about an hour. They left the place spotless and were also very careful about not tracking mud into the house-again, it was pouring outside. With the new design, we got back so much space we were able to get rid of one ugly piece of furniture and make better use other furniture, creating more space in both our main bedroom and office/guest room-important in a 950-square-foot townhouse. Except for the lateness-again, forgivable given the weather-Closet Stretchers was a pleasure to deal with at every level.

Closet Stretchers was extremely easy to work with. The installers arrived early, were neat, and did an excellent job. Our closets are small, and the work Closet Stretchers did has made a huge difference. I would definitely recommend Closet Stretchers.

The estimator was fantastic. She was experienced and presented some great solutions to design issues (using all the space in a very tall linen closet and getting the most out of the walk-in) and the company was diligent in follow-up after the estimate. The work is done, we are very pleased, and we wish we had done it sooner.

They were fast and did excellent work at a great value. Everything was explained fully, they arrived on time, worked fast and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, a wonderful experience.

I had three designs and estimates from three closet companies; Closet Stretchers had the best design and the best price. I was able to get another 5% discount (by asking for it!). In addition, they said they could do the work two days after I sign the contract. They agreed to come between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., but when I found out my condo freight elevator was in use after 9, they said they would come earlier. They arrived at 8:10 a.m., brought the materials up very quietly, so as not to disturb the neighbors, and finished the job by 10:30. Excellent job, and they cleaned up after themselves.

Good. Responsive via email and phone. Worked with me to build and modify the plans. Willing to be price flexible. Installed the day they said they would. Quality of installation high. Quality of materials pretty high.

Easy to work with. they came and gave estimate on schedule. We were in a hurry to get work done so they were able to schedule in very fast. Workers who installed closets were careful and clean. We had just done the wood floors in the master bedroom the day before and they were careful of those. We are very satisfied.

They did leave some grout on one of the carpets that's now seeming impossible to remove. They did leave quite a mess when they were done. However the closets themselves are good.

Representative gave us ideas and left with a detailed sketch and price estimate. Was very clear as to what could be expected. Made changes about a week later at our request. Absolutely no pressure from anyone. Work was scheduled to fit our needs. Three workers showed up on time and completed job in about 4 hours. Workers were knowledgeable and friendly. Never hesitated to answer our questions as they worked, finished products (all in cherry red) gives a very nice appearance - and gives us the extra space that we needed. A class product delivered by a class company with class workers. Highly recommend them.

A sales person came out and we discussed the options for the closet. He drew a diagram of what it would look like. We picked out the color (the nice woods are 25% extra!) and hardware. The installers came at the very end of the scheduled installation window, but installed it very quickly (30 minutes).

He was great because he was able to draw everything out on the spot and I didn't have to wait. They came out the next week to do the installation and it only took 2 hours, and the quality is really wonderful.

The free estimate was great. They came and measured all our closets and gave great ideas about what we could do to maximize space in our small house. The installation took only about 45 minutes and they came right at the beginning of the window they gave me. They fit every piece exactly and demonstrated how to move shelves and closet rods.
