Description of Work: Impossible to fill out your form, since we had two different experiences with these folk. Central did an amazing job replacing our roof. We then purchased new windows through them. Things did not go so well. It took well over a month of meetings and discussions with both Central and, ultimately, the manufacturer to get the windows to the point where they could shut. They are still barely adequate. They are double-hung windows. When you try to lock them, the top window slides down and/or the bottom inches up. You have to hold one window in place with one hand while locking them with the other. Initially, the larger windows simply would not lock. This may be a general problem with vinyl windows. I am not an expert. Nor, of course, am I completely happy.

Description of Work: Thought we had 2 roof's, had 4 (shaker shingle was 1st on plats.laid plywood, corrected all flaws. They did job they were suppose to do as roofers.We would recommend however, it's only been weeks. Will keep u posted for leaks or discrepancies. Yard clean up was good as well. Would recommended so far!

Description of Work: They removed and replaced the entire roof, including replacing rotted wood where necessary. Their personnel were punctual and professional from the estimator through the completed job. We would definitely contact them concerning any future work we may need.

Description of Work: Removed and replaced roof shingles. Replaced about half of original 50 year old roof plywood sheets. Replaced all flashings and installed new roof fan.Initial inspection and estimate basically on the mark, and the work was completed in one full work day. Workers well trained in removing debris and cleaning up. Very pleased and glad to recommend.

Description of Work: They come out, give an estimate, schedule the work, do the work, send an invoice. You don't have to chase them to do the work, etc. They know their product very well, and don't over promise but they are reliable and responsive in a way I rarely see anymore. Definite recommendation.

Description of Work: Howard arrived on tome, spoke with me, inspected the roof and found no loose shingles or other problems. Them he provided me with a statement/ receipt. He explained clearly what he did, and I was pleased with his service.

Description of Work: Roof mechanic arrived on time and got straight to work. Replaced 5 damaged shingles, performed roof maintenance check, recaulked several flashing areas requiring attention, removed an old satellite mount and cut-in a new ridge vent all before noon. Did an excellent job, cleaned up the site when completed and the invoice was exactly per estimate. I don't recall the mechanics name but he knew what he was doing and knocked the job out in 4 hours by himself. Certainly will use Central again for any roofing needs.

Description of Work: I would have given "thumbs down" but I'm not sure if the problem is their advertising or a glitch in Angie's list. Also, my research was over a year ago and they may now service my area. The problem was they (and a couple others I'm trying to remember) came up in a search for my home in Brandywine MD, but the dispatcher told me they did not service my neighborhood. This seemed strange since they're in Rockville. Either way, I went with someone else.

Description of Work: I cannot say enough about Eric. He is very knowledgeable and fast at resolving any issue as it comes up. When a small leak was discovered in the newly installed gutter he came right out the next day to resolve the issue. Central Gutter will be my first call for any roofing or gutter issue.

Description of Work: I had a leak that has been occurring since Oct 2013. Someone else allegedly fixed it but didn't. I joined Angie's list and called but because of the multiple storms we were having, they could only schedule for 2 weeks later. I didn't fault them for this because they told me this up front and all the storms had to effect their business. The technician came up, caulk what he could see, told me the work I had done previously was to the wrong place on the roof and gave me a guarantee that if it leaked during the next rain storm, he would come back and charge only for the supplies, not the work. I felt this was fair and reasonable. I gave them a "C" on responsiveness bec. they couldn't come out right away but since they told me their schedule perhaps it should have been a better grade. I definitely was pleased with the service and price.

Description of Work: I had a leak in my chimney flashing. They identified the problem and fixed it without me even having to be home. Very professional.
