Central Exteriors

Our self-managed HOA very much appreciated CE's (especially Artem's) straightforward demeanor. CE was able to replace our roof that had apparently been done poorly during its 2005 reno. When water continued to come into our home, they were willing to come back to install a diverter to help mitigate the issue from continuing. We are hoping that it will be effective but we do not yet know for certain until we get rain.

They did a good job. I am giving them 4stars bec they did not come back to fix something

Everything went well. They were very professional. I would use them again.

The work was very nicely done and in a timely manner. The communication with both the company and the workers performing the work was very poor. We had to initiate all communications and in numerous cases had to reexplain to he workers what work was to be performed. There was some property damage/loss.

Communication was excellent and work was performed quickly. The workers were professional and actually cleaned up debris very well.

One neighbor highly recommended them. I had to wait for several weeks for their services because they have a long list of houses before mine to work on. I was a little bit nervous to wait that long but in the end it worth it! Once they started to work on my roof I was so happy because all the crew was very professional and hardworking. I rate their work as exceptional. I loved the result.

Excellent. High professional standards followed from initial survey to estimates to contracting to replacement work. Replacement took only one work day. Crew did excellent work, including a thorough clean-up before departure. Special kudos to Matt Kline, company representative, for quick responses to questions throughout the project.

Excellent, finished and left no trace of being there within one day. Also despite being the largest roofing company of the quotes I received, they had the cheapest ones. Also gave you three different options with a checkmark table displaying the differences of what you are getting with each option. Thinking about calling them for my gutters. Professionals.

I have lived in my home for 25 years. Central put my first roof on just after we moved in and it has been a quality roof that presented no problems over the years. When I decided to replace my roof I called out for 3 separate bids which included Central Exteriors. Once again Central Exteriors came through with a very fair and competitive price. Their work crews do quality work and are very nice to work with. They also make every effort to ensure your yard is clean of debris and is left the same way they found it. I have also used Central Exteriors to install the siding on my home which was completed with the same quality of service and at an affordable price point. I would highly recommend Central Exteriors because of their experience, quality of service, and competitive pricing.

I contacted the company through Angie’s List and upon 2 friends’ recommendations but didn’t hear back from them. Do I called directly and was told “Max had me under his schedule”. Never heard from a Max nor the company.

The crew were very professional. They came, removed old gutters, installed new ones, cleaned up and left in a couple of hours.

Central Exteriors delayed the start of the job by about two months. When the roof was finally installed (Jan 2019), it proved to be shoddy work. In July 2019, it started leaking during heavy rains (the old roof never leaked). They sent someone out to inspect and "fix" it. Here we are 18 months later, July 2020 and the roof is leaking with heavy rains again. They keep promising they will fix the issue, but just send out "supervisors" to inspect it and keep promising they'll solve the issue. Their lack of responsiveness is blatant. No crew has been by to fix the issue. [UPDATE 7/30/2020 - Angie's List] - since posting the review, the company has sent out two supervisors to inspect the roof and they found the problem. Part of the roof had been installed incorrectly. They fixed it and recaulked the section. We haven't had a heavy downpour since then, but the hose test showed no leaking.

Excellent. Central came to my house in July 2015 to do a repair and inspection. They told me then I needed a new roof, I should have listened. Flash forward to June 2020 and we're at it again. Amazingly, they still had all of the specs for my house from the estimate they did in 2015. Two crews came to my house on a Saturday morning and went at it. On the roof about 7, completely done and cleaned up by 2. Amazing job and it looks great.

All calls and questions were answered promptly. The price was great! When they came they were in/out and did a really good job cleaning up! And my new roof looks great! Ian was very easy to work with! I had a great experience!

We bought our house in 2012 in Montgomery County, MD. The roof was past its design life when we bought the place, and although there were no signs of leaks, we decided to put a new roof on the house in 2016 - better to get it done before problems arise than after. Central was great. I forgot to move my car out of the driveway the morning they were scheduled to start work but they managed to make things work anyway. My handyman happened to stop by while they were working and told me it looked like they knew what they were doing, which was comforting. The real proof, though, is my roof has been on the house for 4 years, including the wettest year on record here in the DC area, with no signs of leaks anywhere in the house. This may not seem impressive - roofs aren't supposed to leak. However, both my sister and parents have had new roofs put on their houses in the intervening years - they live several States away so could not use Central Exteriors. Both had leak issues after having the new roofs put on and had to have the roofer come back out to fix things - in my sister's case it took several return visits and some major work to make things right. Central Exteriors were price competitive with other roofing companies I consulted with, and gave me a 50 year warranty on the shingles and workmanship, which nobody else offered. I would not hesitate to hire them again. Very pleased.

Walt (ridge vent) and Chris (gutters) communicated clearly the scope of the work that would be done and answered questions fully. Work crews completed the jobs very efficiently. Office staff was responsive and helpful. A highly positive experience all around.

Samantha, from Central Exteriors, was very nice. She understood with the upcoming rain, a repair was urgent. She scheduled Walter to come to our house the same day to make the repairs. Walter came out, explained exactly what he was going to do, and took care of the issue. He showed us how the bolts used were too short, causing the issue. He explained that using caulk to patch the holes would have only been a temporary fix, so he replaced the shingles. You can't even tell now there was a satellite dish there at one time.

A previous roofer could not stop the leaks coming from one of our skylights. Dan from Central Exteriors did an excellent job diagnosing the problem and fixing it. I highly recommend Dan and Central Exteriors for your roofing needs.

We were extremely pleased with Central's work. Jon was patient and thorough, and the install team did a fine job. There were a couple of small problems but they were always fixed to our satisfaction. Highly recommended!

The salesman, Jon, arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and gave a brief but comprehensive presentation. He provided a timely quote to replace the roofs of our 20-year old townhouse and garage. The price was right in-line with expectations and significantly less than a competitor that wanted to seek partial reimbursement through our homeowners insurance. It took the roofers two days to complete the job. They were very careful to protect our deck railing. Overall they did a terrific job on the roofing and cleaned up well afterward. I would definitely hire Central Exteriors again.
