Very poorly. I called Central and left a message. They called me back and said someone would call me back to set up an appointment to assess my leaky roof. I never heard from them again.

I contacted company by email and got a quote. Quote was complete and I was pleased with the price. Windows were installed earlier than expected. Lorus and Frank arrived promptly each day and kept on schedule. The were especially informative about the job and answered all my questions however mundane! They cleaned up afterwards to the point of vacuuming the area! Frank went over every nook and cranny and then took time to show me the features and how to operate my new windows! I am extremely pleased with the way the job was done and how they went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with their work! My original contact, Mitch Greenberg followed up later to see if there were any problems. There were none!

I called the office and asked for an estimate. I was told someone would come by and look at my home which they did (without me needing to be present). The roofing person came first, while I was away; the vent person came a couple weeks later while I happened to be home. The people I spoke with at Central Roofing & Siding were very friendly as was the person who repaired my vents. They did an excellent job. My only complaint is it took a while for them to get back to me after my initial request. I thought they had forgotten about me and I was about to call again when Central Roofing called and gave me a date for the roofer but not for the vents. Later I was told the vents would be completed the same week as the roof project. As it turned out, the person showed up the week after that to replace the vents.

He did call me back yesterday, and he was very prompt in his response. He said he could have someone out here today. Another gentleman came out today, Eric, and he was out here on time. He came and made a survey of what needed to be done. He attached all the loose siding and did general maintenance on my gutters. He did a fantastic job. He has put my mind at ease. He was very nice. I really appreciate the response I got from the company. I plan on doing business with them in the future.

Mitch came out and estimated the cost of replacing the old aluminum siding (including some old asbestos siding), all of the gutters and downspouts, and the windows in a side room. In the process, he had some wonderful suggestions that never would have occurred to me. The work started pretty much when promised, and it was clear even to my neighbors that the crew worked in a quick and professional manner. The siding foreman seemed particularly skilled and professional. The work was finished in about a week (a rainstorm or two slowed things up a bit), and frankly I was shocked at how clean my yard was at the end of each work day. The final cost was consistent with the original estimate, and I would definitely recommend this company to others.

They came the day after I called, and gave an estimate. They asked if I would like the work done immediately. I said yes, and they did it. The quoted price was $295.00 which is their minimum. It seemed high for replacing a single piece of siding, but I've had trouble finding anyone to do repairs before, so I had it done. The work was done well, and quickly. They gave me a 5% discount for using Angie's List.

Central was very responsive when I called. Someone visited my townhouse and gave me a quote within 24 hours. Central staff called me and talked me though the estimate, which helped me understand how Central would replace the more unusual parts of the roof. The Central estimate was about 15% less than another well respected company that works in Montgomery County, and that appears on Angie's List. Once I signed the contract, Central called again to tell me when it would order the materials and when it was expected to do the work. When Central completed the roof, I received a call and was told exactly what was done and what I would have to pay. The Central manager was very polite and very helpful. I give this company an A+.

The experience was excellent from start to finish. The Greenbergs were always very responsive, the project was completed on time with a minimum amount of disruption, noise and messiness, and the house looks great. We couldn't be more pleased with the process or the results.

I called Central and was able to get a convenient appointment very quickly. They promised to be here at 9am and they were here on the dot of 9. He identified and fixed the problem quickly and the whole repair took about 15 minutes, though he came prepared to do more if it had been needed. The price was actually less than they had estimated. They also gave an estimate of the lifetime of the current roof, and were able to put fears of any other impending problems to rest. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

I contacted Central Roofing after having other companies come out and give estimates. These other companies did not seem to be professional. After consulting Angie's List I called the company and Bernie came out and gave me an estimate. We arranged a time for the work to be done and I selected the shingles. Bernie explained the whole process to me and answered all of my questions. The workers came on time and did an excellent job. The completed the job in two days and did a great job of cleaning up all the debris including trash that fell into my neighbors yard. I was very pleased with the work and would highly recommend the company.

We phoned several places for estimates to repair our roof initially, but were convinced to replace it by several conversations about how repairing would be at least half the cost of replacing it, and would be a short-term fix. Central gave us a great estimate, and scheduled the work within a week. They arrived promptly on the appointed date, and completed the whole job in one day. The new roof is great, the house even seems warmer now, and they did a wonderfully tidy job. The house and yard looked untouched, except for our beautiful new roof.

His inspection revealed blocked gutters and some flashing that had not been sealed. He sealed the flashing and dumped the gutter debris (on the lawn) two trips up and down his ladder, 30 minutes at the outside and charged $250!

"THIS MEMBER CALLED OUR COMPANY AFTER THEY HAD A NEW ROOF AND GUTTERS INSTALLED BY A DIFFERENT COMPANY AND THEY WERE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS. WE SUCCESSFULLY CAME OUT AND DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEMS AND MADE THE APPROPRIATE REPAIRS. IT TOOK APPROX. 30 MINUTES PLUS TRAVEL TIME. WE HAVE A MINIMUM REPAIR CHARGE OF $225. THIS HAPPENED TO BE A STEEP ROOF AND WAS DIFFICULT TO WALK SAFELY ON. OUR SERVICE MEN RISK THEIR LIVES EVERY DAY TO TRY AND HELP HOMEOWNERS AND WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON OUR WORK. WE FEEL OUR MINIMUM CHARGE IS JUSTIFIED, BY THE NATURE OF THE WORK, OUR OVERHEAD, AND THE SKILL AND QUALITY OF OUR MECHANICS."

Roofers showed up the day of and informed me that they would return the next day because of rain (didn't rain by the way). They showed up next morning and began work. After work was complete, there were several issues: roofers damaged gutter and consequently damaged the paint(placed ladder on it), they ripped one of my screens when tossing debris off of roof, the moved satellite dish (expected) and sealed around it so DirecTV could not remove it without possibly damaging the roof. They were supposed to fix a small piece of siding that still has not been complete. I also pick up about 15 nails out of my driveway, luckily before we drove over one. The skylight was misaligned. No one that spoke English was present so communication was difficult. When I called to discuss these matters, the company was a little stand offish, and denied anything like this ever happening before. However, after showing them the evidence, Bernie was fairly cooperative.

Poor. When I called their office and gave a detailed explanation of my problem, including the type of house I live in, they said they could help and arranged for a person to come out and look. But then Eric called to ask "the nature of my problem." When I explained that I had a single leak in the roof of my row house, I was told "we don't deal with that." The explanation had something to do with not working on row houses (townhouse) even though I specifically told the office that's what I have. I got the very distinct impression they were declining to come to my house because, 1) The problem didn't involve a full roof replacement, and 2) My roof isn't big enough to charge lots of money.

The estimate was the lowest estimate, it was also the most complete and best explained estimate. The corporate representative Mitch Greenberg was easy to deal with. He had ready references that checked out well. Insurance certificates MHIC information was provided without any fuss. The contract was made in early June, the work started earlier than expected and the delivery of materials and the dumpster were well coordinated. Polite, competent workmen with good supervision diligently removed the siding from one wall at a time replacing it as they went along so at no time was more than one wall exposed to the elements. When a storm did occur they actually completed a wall and did not start on the next one to prevent problems with water. Most of the work was completed quickly, all of it was completed by the deadline. One piece of advice we would offer would be that you should remove all items hanging on exterior walls if there is going to be a lot of hammering on them.

I notice a small drip coming through the ceiling in an upstairs closet and called Central Roofing to come and see what needed to be done. Eric came out the next day and took a look. He told me that a few shingles needed to be replaced but that the rest of the roof looked fine. He fixed it right then and there and even cleaned out some of the gutters.

I solicited 3 different quotes (2 that I found on Angie, 1 was referred from a neighbor). Most of the other neighbors have a composite roof and I was basically planning on getting the same. However, when I called Central I told them about some leaks that just started, so that time was of the essence. I originally had shingle, and asked for a replacement of the same plus 2 other options, that being a composite and a composite with a thicker underside. When I received the quote, I called Mitchell back and basically wanted to be talked into the "more expensive spread" (time worn phrase: you get what you pay for). He convinced me that my original replacement of the shingles would be just fine... a 20 year shingle job, with the self adhesive water and ice membrane under and replaced 14 of 55 4x8 plywood panels since it had been at least 20 years since the roof had been worked on. I accepted the first quote, the crew came in on Tuesday morning and completed the job by sundown of that day.

Central Roofing did a wonderful job replacing the old roof. After we agreed to the contract terms on Monday, I got a call from Bernie the next day and scheduled the job for the next day, Wednesday. They were done with the job within two days of us closing the contract. The workmen arrived at 7:50 and worked until 5:00. They did a magnetic sweep of the yard to catch any stray nails. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't damage anything or leave any trash behind. It came out great. I would recommend this company to anyone.
