Mitch Greenberg was most helpful. He gave us estimates for a variety of jobs on the gutters, from replacing them all to replacing just the one that was leaking, and explained our options. He made no attempt to pressure us into more repairs than necessary. And he said in most cases the inexpensive screens are as effective as the much more expensive "helmets". The other roofers we contacted only offered to replace all gutters at a cost of more than $1,500. The work was quickly done and we have been very happy with the results.

The man who came was very knowledgeable, but did not follow-up. He gave us an estimate over the phone and did not present a contract. We called him to ask if he could bring us some samples of tiles, and we never heard from him again.

Eric was great, he arrived right on schedule for the estimate and determined that he could do this small repair job right on the spot. He was professional and courteous. When I had a follow-up question a couple of days later, the office did their best to get me in touch with Eric as quickly as possible.

Terrible. I had several leaks in the roof that is only two years old. Eric came, expected the roof and said the shingles look fine. He said that the leaks are due to the clogged gutters (which were far away from the leaks,) cleaned the gutters and offered to cover them with aluminum shields for $550. Well, I had the same and also new leaks with the next rain. The Central Roofing could not diagnose the problem and misled me about the gutters.

Took about four days for someone to come by for an estimate. The estimate was $50, to be applied to work if contracted. I contracted, and had to wait 7 more days to have repair done. Central said it was busy time because of recent heavy rains. They came on the appointed day, and completed the roof repair on same day. Left no mess or construction debris. Roof repair well matched visually to existing roof. 5% Angies List discount only applies to complete roof replacement, though not specified in their listing.

The supplies were delivered but the job was delayed a few days due to rainy weather. But when I called they told me they would probably get to me on Monday or Tuesday, and with good weather on Monday they showed up early to do the job. The workers were polite and cleaned up all debris when they finished.

Their work is professional and on time, and the customer service and courtesy is superb!

Mitch, the owner, came to do an estimate more quickly than anyone else. He was professional and courteous, and gave me the estimate in three days, very quickly. The estimate was excellent, given that the roofing materials to be used are the best. He beat the estimate of other contractors. His guys worked professionally and did an outstanding job replacing the entire roof in one day. Same for gutters. We cant recommend them too highly. Given that we were renovating, we were dealing with many service providers, and Central Roofing has been one of the best.

I received an estimate very quickly. Other companies I called were to busy to give me an estimate within a month. They came close to the time that they said they would to do the work (since my job was so small it was being squeezed around other work). The workmen did a neat job of installing the siding and of cleaning up afterwards. After the job was done, the salesman who had done the estimate and brought me the contract called to ask if I was satisfied with the work.

Mitch and his crews were very punctual and did an exceptional job. The work was performed with craftsmanlike skills. It is great to know a company who can deliver a such great service!

They were very prompt in setting up an estimate, and also, in performing the estimate and work. The repair person was clear in his explanation and was pleasant. The cost was half what other estimates were.

Everyone I spoke with was polite and knowledgeable. The job was completed quickly and below estimated cost, which is rare for most any service. I would highly recommend calling Central for roofing repair/installation.

Overall, the experience was very good. The sales guy was very responsive to questions, returned calls quickly. Much discussion about color choices, changes were made at the last minute with no problems. Installers were OK. Stored equipment in yard over Memorial Day holiday and then picked it up on Tuesday which we felt to be unusual. Seams on siding are obvious were we thought the seams would be less obvious. Excellent workmanship on exposed wood. Gutters are excellent with expected slope. Installers arrived about the same time everyday, they also worked one Saturday. Overall, the property was left clean although gutter stakes were found in the grass and pieces of siding in bushes. Area around electic meter was well done. Took a week to do the installation. Did not leave (and we did not ask about) the extra siding that we probably purchased. We would consider using this company for another project.

They returned calls promptly, were reasonably priced and completed the work on time

I called Central & Eric answered and said they were overwhelmed and "maybe" they could fit me in a week later. I objected since I felt this was part of the 1st job and had hoped that I would get quicker service. 2 days later Eric told me he tried to stop by, but didn't get me so he couldn't get in. After a week, I called again and he said he couldn't stop by for a week or so, it was probably the ridge vent. I asked him to give me an estimate for it - he said he would. I waited another week - no estimate. I called office & left a message. Eric left a message on my office phone saying it wasn't worth his time to do the ridge vent. I've wasted a month now trying to get it fixed. I am disappointed that Eric blew me off. So much for customer loyalty.

Every aspect of our experience was first rate. They quickly fixed things when we complained that their supplier, who delivered the materials, left them in an inappropriate place. They also went the extra mile to please us by reshingling a small piece of roof that was not included in the contract. This area was on an addition that was only five years old, and we were concerned that the shingles wouldn't match the main part of the house.

We were very pleased with the customer service provided by this company as well as with the quality of the work and workmen on this job. The job was done well and efficiently. We were told the job might take ten days to complete. It was completed in six. We had only one problem when the workmen inadvertently pierced a pipe carrying coolant to our air conditioning unit. The company reimbursed us for the very expensive repair to the system and did so without complaint or resistance. We would happily recommend this company to others and we plan to use them again if the occasion presents itself.

My experience was excellent. The crew did a great job on the roof & left the place very very clean. My neighbor asked me who replaced the roof as she was impressed with the work done & needs some roof work herself. I highly recommend Central Roofing & Siding. Very knowledgeable, thorough & fair pricing.

Very good and prompt service. They cleaned up after themselves. When I asked for a strip of flashing around areas underneath the shingles, they obliged within a day at no extra cost.

I am amazed. I called Central Roofing yesterday on behalf of one of Jane Fairweather's clients to get an estimate for some work a home inspector said needed to be done. We had no idea how much the job would cost. Called a couple of roofing companies. Most were reluctant to estimate over the phone. One who did estimated the job at 1500.00. I spoke with Eric Kibler (Manager) at Central Roofing, and he estimated the job at 325.00. After talking to our sellers, I made an appointment with Eric to meet him at the address in the morning. Eric was early. Called me and I was able to meet him then, he brought what equipment he needed based on our discussion yesterday and completed the work right then and there. No muss, no fuss. Personable, polite, professional. Who could ask for more?

Excellent work. They were prompt about taking phone calls and the estimator explained the work thoroughly ahead of time. They scheduled the work quickly after the contract was signed. The house is in an historic district; the job foreman was very sensitive to maintaining historically correct lines-- and was creative about finding old wood from elsewhere to replace rotting fascia. Work was completed in one day. Two caveats: shingles arrived unexpectedly the day before the job-- and workers were on the roof 45 minutes early. Roofing is messy work; they cleaned everything up beautifully. Everyone was very polite. They honored the promised Angie's List discount.

Within 2 days of my call to the company, a person came to my house at a time convenient for me. Eric arrived on time, inspected the roof and quickly analyzed the situation. He found holes in shingles probably the result of previous work on a dormer. He repaired these and inspected ridge vents and caulked nail holes. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, and courteous. I am extremely pleased with the service.

WE SAW THE COMPANY LISTED AS THE NUMBER ONE ROOF REPAIR COMPANY ON NEWS CHANNEL 4, WE CALLED THEM. AN ESTIMATE WAS GIVEN OVER THE PHONE. REPLACING RATHER THAN REPAIRING WAS THEIR RECOMMENDATION, UNLIKE OTHER COMPANIES. AFTER ALL, THIS IS THE ROOF OF OUR HOME THAT WILL PROTECT EVERYTHING INSIDE. THEY WERE PROMPT, AND PLEASANT. WE HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO OTHERS.
