I called Central and was able to get a convenient appointment very quickly. They promised to be here at 9am and they were here on the dot of 9. He identified and fixed the problem quickly and the whole repair took about 15 minutes, though he came prepared to do more if it had been needed. The price was actually less than they had estimated. They also gave an estimate of the lifetime of the current roof, and were able to put fears of any other impending problems to rest. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

I contacted Central Roofing after having other companies come out and give estimates. These other companies did not seem to be professional. After consulting Angie's List I called the company and Bernie came out and gave me an estimate. We arranged a time for the work to be done and I selected the shingles. Bernie explained the whole process to me and answered all of my questions. The workers came on time and did an excellent job. The completed the job in two days and did a great job of cleaning up all the debris including trash that fell into my neighbors yard. I was very pleased with the work and would highly recommend the company.

We phoned several places for estimates to repair our roof initially, but were convinced to replace it by several conversations about how repairing would be at least half the cost of replacing it, and would be a short-term fix. Central gave us a great estimate, and scheduled the work within a week. They arrived promptly on the appointed date, and completed the whole job in one day. The new roof is great, the house even seems warmer now, and they did a wonderfully tidy job. The house and yard looked untouched, except for our beautiful new roof.

His inspection revealed blocked gutters and some flashing that had not been sealed. He sealed the flashing and dumped the gutter debris (on the lawn) two trips up and down his ladder, 30 minutes at the outside and charged $250!

Roofers showed up the day of and informed me that they would return the next day because of rain (didn't rain by the way). They showed up next morning and began work. After work was complete, there were several issues: roofers damaged gutter and consequently damaged the paint(placed ladder on it), they ripped one of my screens when tossing debris off of roof, the moved satellite dish (expected) and sealed around it so DirecTV could not remove it without possibly damaging the roof. They were supposed to fix a small piece of siding that still has not been complete. I also pick up about 15 nails out of my driveway, luckily before we drove over one. The skylight was misaligned. No one that spoke English was present so communication was difficult. When I called to discuss these matters, the company was a little stand offish, and denied anything like this ever happening before. However, after showing them the evidence, Bernie was fairly cooperative.

It went fine. The cleanup was particularly well done. They worked efficiently.

Poor. When I called their office and gave a detailed explanation of my problem, including the type of house I live in, they said they could help and arranged for a person to come out and look. But then Eric called to ask "the nature of my problem." When I explained that I had a single leak in the roof of my row house, I was told "we don't deal with that." The explanation had something to do with not working on row houses (townhouse) even though I specifically told the office that's what I have. I got the very distinct impression they were declining to come to my house because, 1) The problem didn't involve a full roof replacement, and 2) My roof isn't big enough to charge lots of money.

The estimate was the lowest estimate, it was also the most complete and best explained estimate. The corporate representative Mitch Greenberg was easy to deal with. He had ready references that checked out well. Insurance certificates MHIC information was provided without any fuss. The contract was made in early June, the work started earlier than expected and the delivery of materials and the dumpster were well coordinated. Polite, competent workmen with good supervision diligently removed the siding from one wall at a time replacing it as they went along so at no time was more than one wall exposed to the elements. When a storm did occur they actually completed a wall and did not start on the next one to prevent problems with water. Most of the work was completed quickly, all of it was completed by the deadline. One piece of advice we would offer would be that you should remove all items hanging on exterior walls if there is going to be a lot of hammering on them.

I notice a small drip coming through the ceiling in an upstairs closet and called Central Roofing to come and see what needed to be done. Eric came out the next day and took a look. He told me that a few shingles needed to be replaced but that the rest of the roof looked fine. He fixed it right then and there and even cleaned out some of the gutters.

I solicited 3 different quotes (2 that I found on Angie, 1 was referred from a neighbor). Most of the other neighbors have a composite roof and I was basically planning on getting the same. However, when I called Central I told them about some leaks that just started, so that time was of the essence. I originally had shingle, and asked for a replacement of the same plus 2 other options, that being a composite and a composite with a thicker underside. When I received the quote, I called Mitchell back and basically wanted to be talked into the "more expensive spread" (time worn phrase: you get what you pay for). He convinced me that my original replacement of the shingles would be just fine... a 20 year shingle job, with the self adhesive water and ice membrane under and replaced 14 of 55 4x8 plywood panels since it had been at least 20 years since the roof had been worked on. I accepted the first quote, the crew came in on Tuesday morning and completed the job by sundown of that day.

Central Roofing did a wonderful job replacing the old roof. After we agreed to the contract terms on Monday, I got a call from Bernie the next day and scheduled the job for the next day, Wednesday. They were done with the job within two days of us closing the contract. The workmen arrived at 7:50 and worked until 5:00. They did a magnetic sweep of the yard to catch any stray nails. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't damage anything or leave any trash behind. It came out great. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Everything went very smoothly I would have to say. They were all hard workers and they knew what they were doing completely. I would recommend them to anyone. They did a good job on my roof.

They were very good and very thorough. They did everything I needed and saw some other things that needed to be done and discussed the extra work with me before going ahead. I was pleased with them.

I called, the receptionist was friendly and told me someone would be by to do an estimate within the week. This was one of three companies we called for estimates and they had the best price. Bill scheduled the work to be done. The crew showed up and got to work around 7:30. They were completely finished by 5. They cleaned up well and did a magnetic sweep of our yard to catch any stray nails. The roof looks beautiful. When Bill called to see how I liked the work, I told him that the flashing-which was red to match our old red roof-didn't match our new grey roof. He sent someone over to paint the flashing within the next few days, and the result is wonderful. We are very happy with our new roof. I should add that the final price was slightly higher than the estimate because they needed to replace some plywood and couldn't predict how much underlying damage there was to the roof until they removed all the old shingles, but I was aware of this potential problem beforehand.

I chose them because they had an A+ rating. I am very happy I chose them. They do great work at a wonderful price with out a contract. Eric was great in finding the problem and remedying it fast.

Central Roofing did a wonderful job replacing my old roof. They really did a good quality job. After I called the company for the job, they were at my house not even two hours later. They were done with the job within one week of me calling their office. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I think I got a good rate for the deal. They provide an excellent service, are prompt and efficient. I felt that I was involved in the process. I would recommend them to other people. There are a couple of things I need to talk to them about and I hope that they are responsive.

Central worked very quickly and got the job done to perfection. They were great guys and very friendly and respectful of my yard and family. They cleaned up my yard completely when they were done. I definitely plan to use them again. I even recommended them to friends.

Mitch came a couple of days after I called for an estimate. He checked and measured the roof and got back to me right away with a written proposal. The proposal was very clear about what was included and what some additional options were that I might want to consider, including several different kinds and grades of shingles. When I spoke with him he was helpful about what options he thought would be a waste and what might be worthwhile. He was not at all pushy and was very clear about explaining the basis for his recommendations. He said they'd be able to start in about a week from when I gave him the signed contract and that the work would take two days. The job started a little later because of rain, and took a half day longer to finish up. Mitch checked in with me each day. The workmen arrived about 8:15 and worked each afternoon until after 6:00. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't damage anything or leave any trash behind. It came out great.

The initial contact was great. They were prompt and friendly. My roof continued to leak though and when I called again to have them come look at the siding (before spending a lot of money to replace my roof) Eric was going to charge me another $250. I can't understand why he didn't check the siding the first time he was at my house if he thought that might be the source of the leak. He also said that the coupon they advertise for List members is only good if you are having your whole roof replaced.

The sales rep was knowledgeable, prompt and followed the project from start to finish. The craftsmen were courteous, dutiful and respectful of the property. They cleaned up daily and were safety conscious of the falling debris. At the end of the project the sales rep reviewed the project with us and made adjustments as requested.

The company was responsive in scheduling an appointment. They told me up front the fee for coming to the house and providing an estimate but noted that the fee would be deducted from the cost of the job were they contracted to do it. There were some communication problems with different people at the company relating different interpretations of their policies as to whether they would complete the job on the day of the estimate. The roofer, Eric, arrived on time and was helpful and professional. He completed the job promptly and efficiently. I make no judgment on the quality of the work because I have not had the roof inspected since he completed it. My overall grade is B because of the communication issues and because Eric wasn't able to accept my credit card due to "technical problems" so I had to write a personal check.

The representative is very helpful when I called. She answered all my questions (it was my first time to find someone to repair my roof). She gave me the estimate on general maintenance from $225-$275. The appointment is on 9am Friday. Eric called before he came and he is on time. It was raining on Friday, so he can t get on the roof to check. He told us that although our roof is old, but since we live in the community and there is no way we can change to a better roof the color won t match to the rest of the roof in community. The roof system my community uses is not that good and went bad quickly. He suggests if there is no leaking, we should just do the general maintenance to save the money. He came back next week and make sure there is no leaking on our roof and did the general maintenance. The overall experience is good. I will definitely call them again when I need to replace my roof.

Called and had an estimate in a couple of weeks. After agreeing to let them do the work a gentleman came to the house for a deposit and for me to select the color of shingles. Within two weeks they had arrived, replaced the roof, cleaned up and left.
