The estimate was $500 for a 14 foot gutter. The guy who we dealt with showed up on time and was courteous but was overpriced. I wouldn?t use their services to get the work done.

Central has come to our place 3 times for minor roofing repairs. The price was reasonable and the workers were very honest and polite. I appreciated that they did not try to sell me a new roof or skylights before it was necessary. Very prompt attention. I will continue to use them in the future.

I wasn't pleased with them because they back down. It was a not terrible experience because I didn't lose any money.

Installation went very well. I had an estimate for the work done in early May and then we scheduled the installation for June 14 once the windows arrived. Gave a $600. deposit, the total job being $6,000 for 6 basement windows plus a new basement door and 3 other windows in the house. Windows are of good quality and easy tooperate. The installers came on time and were very pleasant and professional. Everything was cleaned up with a vacuum afer they were done.

Bernie came for a site visit while we were at work and came back with a written estimate soon after. The work was done within a week. A while later a tree was pruned in a backyard with a minor damage to the downspout. Central fixed it for free. Very pleased.

They couldn't find the siding that was specific to my house, so I didn't use them. I don't think they even tried and they didn't provide a written contract.

Received a call from Mr. Jorge Toro of Central Roof and Siding saying he would look at our damaged gutters, which he seems to have done. Then I received an email from him saying he would get an estimate and email it to me. That was the last I heard.

I wanted to replace most of the windows in my house after the severe winter we just had. I had several companies come in to do estimates. All of those companies practiced very hard sell tactics and completely turned me off. Finally Central Roofing and Siding was recommended by a neighbor - what a find! I called and Bernie came out to do an estimate in about 20 minutes (the other companies took almost 2 hours). The estimate they gave me was well below the other companies. The next visit was to measure the windows and Frank was prompt and professional - not to mention fast. The windows were installed yesterday. The Crew came on time, they were professional, caring, efficient and did an excellent job installing the new windows. They finished sooner than expected, they cleaned wherever they worked, they were absolutely great! I wish I needed a new or siding so that they could perform the work! Central Roofing and Siding - please add more services so I can use you again. Use them for windows, siding, roofing, gutters, anything else they do you'll be more than pleased! In our town home we noticed water marks on the ceiling of the master bath, and also in a hallway ceiling. It appears that water was entering the roof and traveling down the beams then down the walls, leaving stains and water damage. Because of this we contacted the roofer, whom was able to provide an estimate on Friday morning. After reviewing the roof, and determining the areas which needed work, we scheduled the work to be performed on Saturday, the next morning. I was very glad we did as he finished just before a significant storm. With these things, its hard to determine all the potential areas where water can enter the house. These guys must have done a pretty good job, because I haven't noticed anything since, and we've had some strong rain storms recently. Overall, I was very pleased with the crew sent out, and the professionalism provided. I would recommend these guys to others.

Mitch Greenberg was really curteous and good about getting an estimate to us. He also helped provide feedback to the insuracne company because their costs were *slightly* hier than the insruance company's estimate. Because of the backlog of work (everybodies gutters were damaged in this strom it seems) it took 3 weeks to get the job done from the time of the estimate. All the laborers were great and cleaned up

Eric came out to my house originally just to look at the roof, but mainly because the heavy snows had brought down my front gutter and the rains were getting the fascia board wet and the cable line was hanging down across the front door. He carefully accessed everything, including the flat roof and we agreed that it was time for a new roof. Mine was old and the front entire roof was full of algae and mold (it had turned almost black from its original color of silverish gray). The rest of the house had two layers of shingles and was nearing the end of its life. He gave me a very good estimate and guaranteed the lowest price as I told him I would be getting a couple more companies to look at it. He did end up matching the lowest bid, but I can't say it was a pleasant experience to deal with him at this point, as his tone became more and more unpleasant as the job went on. Near the end of the job, after a couple of arguments with him, that could have been solved very politely but weren't because of the way he spoke, I decided to only deal with Mitch from then on who is always polite and not condescending at all. So my suggestion if you do go with this company and I strongly recommend that you do, I would suggest you deal with Mitch or Terry who are much better at dealing and communicating with people than Eric who is a little "rough around the edges". Now about doing the job itself. The workers were amazing. My roof is not that simple to do, but they started early-- about 7:30 -- and finished it in one day. They worked very hard and coordinated with the delivery of the shingles perfectly. They stayed until about 6 pm to finish and clean up. They cleaned up very well. Marcel who was the foreman was very polite and cheerful. He also worked hard and directed the men so all worked together. Mitch came out to look at the job in the afternoon to see how it was going, which made me very happy. Mitch made me feel that this company really cares about their customers. All I can say is the workers were polite, hard workers, knew what they were doing, friendly but not intrusive. I would recommend them to anybody without hesitation. I was really happy that they finished it in one day. And it looks amazing. About 2 weeks after the roof was finished, I noticed some black marks on some of the shingles in the front. I called Mitch and he came right out to look at it. He brought one of his techs with a ladder and they accessed it and found some in the back also. It turns out to be nothing to worry about, but just something because my shingles are such a light color. But he is going to replace the ones in the front anyway because they are they ones we look at all the time and are the most evident. It just shows how much they do care about their customers. The same goes for the gutters and downspouts. There were several installation problems because my roof goes so low in the front the Denny (the foreman of the gutter team) had to redo that. Just took him about 30 minutes extra on the same day he did the rest of the house. He solved the problem right away. He was great too and really knew all about gutters and downspouts. They even had to replace some fascia boards and they capped everything and installed leaf relief. I can't wait to see if this Leaf Relief really works. He cleaned up all his work beautifully. It only took him 3 hours to do the whole house. I strongly recommend Denny if you ever need anything related to gutters. You won't be sorry. He guarantees everything.

Central Roofing was a joy to work with. They sent out someone to assess the damage to our gutters just days after we called them and then they were back to the house within 2 or 3 days to do the work. I couldn't believe how fast they got the job done considering there were so many people with roof damage after the big snowstorm in our area. When we called another company for a second estimate, we were told they couldn't even come out to the house for two weeks. Everyone I came into contact with was professional and courteous. It only took a couple of hours for the work to be completed and they cleaned up very well. Also, the price was great.

They removed all the snow from the roof and the ice from the gutters, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, instead of consulting w/us beforehand, the guys who did the job loaded huge amounts of snow on 40-60 year old shrubs and bushes w/out asking us. Although we appreciate the work done, they damaged and/or many shrubs, and we dug out a 60 year old irreplaceable dwarf japanese maple tree that they completely buried. When I called to express our thanks--and dismay--I spoke to one of the owners who I thought was defensive and took no responsiblity for the damage done. We know it was hard work/we appreciated they came out quickly, but doing what they did the way they did it simply added fuel to the fire. At the very least--they should have offered to take some money off the total bill, which they didn't. Instead--I was chastised by the owner for calling at all.

Called Central after the third in a series of snowstorms that knocked down gutters all over the region. They called back within 24 hours, did a site visit and submitted a reasonable proposal within another 48 hours and had the work done, well I might add, by the end of the next week. They left the work areas cleaner than they found them and performed the detail work carefully and with great quality.

After contacting this company for replacement of missing shingles on an 11 year old roof, I was informed that they offered the general maintenance service described above for the cost of $250-$350. They arrived at the scheduled date and time and told me how much the work would cost after inspecting the roof. However, they only performed missing shingles replacement although I paid without haggling the amount they asked for (for the entire service described above). A couple of weeks later, while taking practice shots with a new zoom lens for a dSLR, I noticed that I had a missing shingle right next to a shingle that was replaced and contacted the company. At the time I was told that I would be contacted the next business day (a Friday) by the person who did the repair work. This did not happen. I called again the following Monday and was put in touch with the person who did the repairs originally. I was told he would be able to show up on Thursday to come and have a look. He showed up at the arranged date and time. When he arrived he was angry and combative and proceeded to start an argument that this was no fault of his and is something that happened after he had replaced the missing shingles. He informed me that I would be charged for the work he will be doing to replace the missing shingle. I of course could not accept this on principle for work he should have done right the first time around and decided not to use his services. After 20-30 minutes, I received a call saying he will do the work free of charge. The lack of professionalism and lack of pride in workmanship displayed when he showed up had already left a bad taste at this point and I informed him that I have decided to pay for another contractor who would do the work right than risk having to go through the same thing if the work wasn?t done right the second time around. I had actually informed the person who did the work that we would have them replace our roof in 6 months time. Needless to say, we won?t be giving him our business.

The estimate process went well and the company was very flexible about scheduling. The whole roof took a day. It looks great and they did a very thorough clean-up job. The gutters came two days later and only took a few hours. All the team seemed very courteous and professional.

We called them on an emergency basis because we had water coming into our roof from a record snow fall. Came, earlier than they said they would, removed snow, and said our roof needed a repair. Told me I had to pay for snow removal and repair up front. Which I did, told me they would be back tomorrow to preform repair. Took two weeks of CONSTANT unreturned phone calls to get them to finish the job, AFTER they cashed our check. To be fair: the owner called me and refunded $300 of our money. To make matters even worse, the next time it snowed: THE SAME THING HAPPENED. The repair they did didn't even work.

My old roof was not installed properly but Central Roofing did it correctly. The only thing I had to do was walk around the perimeter of the house with a magnet to collect stray roofing nails.

We had a great experience with Central. They couldn't make the first appointment due to the snow storm, but promptly scheduled a follow-up appointment for the following week. They were on time and kept things clean. The manager was excellent, and we felt we were in great hands with him. However, when he left for a short while the two younger men installing the windows started quietly bickering with one another, and I kept hearing things like "we're missing a piece" or "you're doing it wrong!". Not exactly inspiring confidence!! But the manager was back on site very soon, the bickering stopped and the job was finished. It took about an hour and a half longer than expected, but in the end the job was very well done and we are really pleased with the products. I found Central to be extremely reliable and definitely worth our time and money.

Contacted Central Roof & Siding through Angies List and Terry Greenberg responded very promptly provided an estimate which provided options. He was professional, friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Crew appeared on time, worked diligently with minimal interruption. Did a very good job cleaning up after themselves. Gutters with leaf relief were installed same day. Overall an excellent experience and the roof definitely is an improvement.

Worked with Terry Greenberg, VP, who proved to be most competent and thorough. Encountered a period of rain, wind and cold weather and Terry patiently explained why replacement could not proceed until weather improved. This showed concern for his roofers but as importantly a concern that the job be done correctly and under the right weather conditions.. Crew appeared on time, worked diligently with minimal interruption. Attempted to answer my questions though communication was somewhat limited. In these cases Terry provided answers to my questions. The finished roof looks absolutely super! Neighbors have marveled that such good work could be done so quickly. They also like the upgraded Certeed shingles we selected.

They completed the work and cleaned up and were gone in two days. There were some minor damages from the materials coming off the roof but, Eric, the representative offered to reimburse us for any replacements.
