No work was performed - just an estimate. The estimate was what I asked for and I appreciate the change.

The price was great. They were lower than any other companies. The man was honest when he came out and gave us an estimate. The workmanship was excellent. There was only two thing that we called about. I told them to not place the dumpster on the driveway, but they did it anyways and now we have hairline cracks on our driveway. The second thing we had a problem with was something was wrong with the roof and the sub contractor came out and charged us an extra $200. The rate was so good from the start, I decided to not complain about the extra fee.

It was pretty nice. They were on time and they did the job quickly. I am very happy with the job that they did.

Manager arrived, gave me an estimate, asked for a deposit. I told him I only do electronic checks, arranged a payment and showed him. I told him the approximate date to expect the check (US mail can vary by a day sometimes.) He called at 8:00am eastern time the next day. I had told him that I would be out of town. I am sure he did not consider there are other time zones in the world. I ignored the call, but the message he left strongly implied that I had not done what I had said I would. A few small words can destroy customer goodwill. I was happy about the quality and price. However, being almost directly accused of being a deadbeat tends to dampen my enthusiasm for repeat business. Update: I have proof that my statements are true (voicemail, and account statements.) I will regard any vendor response that negates the facts of the issue to be libelous. I have also changed my overall grade from B to C reflecting the stunning lack of professionalism I experienced. I identified myself upfront as an Angie's list customer. How dumb would you have to be?

DID NOT CALL IN ADVANCE. THIS, HOWEVER WAS NOT A PROBLEM. STAFF PROFESSIONAL AND WORKED QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY WITH CLEANUP SUBSEQUENT TO INSTALLATION. THERE WAS ONE CAVEAT WHEN PAYMENT WAS SUBMITTED, I.E., DISAPPOINTED THAT THE GUTTERS WERE NOT TESTED TO DETERMINE IF OVERHANG (OVER STEPS) WAS IN 'PLUMB'-ON THE BUBBLE'. THIS HAS PRESENTED PROBLEMS IN THE PAST AND WILL CALL IF SUCH IS NOT THE CASE WHEN IT FORCEFULLY RAINS FOR CORRECTIONS.SEVERAL HEAVY RAINS SINCE INSTALLATION -DRAINED WELL. MUST BE 'ON THE BUBBLE'. 10/20/11--SEE ABOVE

It was a fantastic experience, and I am using the company to upgrade my gutters.

Company was very quick to response to request for proposal and gave a reasonable estimate. Company expedited the completion of this job in one day on Saturday just before tenants were to move in the house the following Monday. Very pleased with the response time, professionalism and final job. Would definitely use this company again and recommend them highly.

Very good expirience. Teryy contacted me very quickly after my first inquiry. The repairs were done to the roof within two weeks after estimate. The roof matches very well and you would hardly know they were ever there.

First, Bernie from Central provided me with a written estimate and then came back to discuss it in person. Bernie did not try to sell extras that were unneeded. I asked about a couple of items and Bernie explained why additional work wasn't necessary. That was really nice. After agreeing to the estimate, Central told me when the shingles and other materials would be delivered and then they called me to determine a date. The crew was scheduled to come between 8 and 9 AM on Saturday. Saturday morning, the crew arrived at 8 AM and started working within a few minutes. Most of the day there were four men on the roof. A foreman came later. The crew worked steadily until just before 5 PM, when the job was finished. The roof looked terrific. I watched the crew work and they took care to do the flashing and other areas with great care. After finishing, the crew cleaned up. One of the men dragged a large magnetic bar back and forth over the yard to pick up nails. The clean up was really thorough. My experience was really good

I was told, "Unfortunately we only install attic exhaust fans and/or covers when we are installing a new roof. If you need a new roof as well please feel free to contact us." I would consider my request a repair (which Central's website says they do). I certainly don't need a new roof.

Central came by after a heavy rain caused a leak into the house by a window. He came on time, found the leak immediately, sealed it in about 5 minutes. $100 was pretty steep for so little work, but we were relieved, since another company had been unable to stop the leak. If the roof leaks during the next heavy rain, I will revise this report.

Working with everyone at Central Roofing and Siding was easy and a pleasure. I received an in person estimate and detailed explanation of the process, my windows were ordered and ready within a few weeks. I was able to communicate with the office via email and just a couple of brief phone calls, which is important to me because I do not have a lot of free time. Frank and his team did an excellent job with the installation. They arrived on time at 8:30 a.m. I let them in and then left for work. They locked up and were done by the time I arrived home and my windows look beautiful, have nice screens and are easy to open and remove for cleaning. They are also very energy efficient the glass never heats up when the sun is coming through and the humidity we used to have is gone. Because of the new EPA rules regarding clean up my costs did go up about $600 from the original estimate. While I wasn't thrilled I assume it is to be expected that customers end up incurring the costs of new government regulations on industry. They were still under the estimate that I received from the Home Depot contractor. Besides, I'm happy to work with a company that is compliant with the law and health regulations. There was not even a speck of dust left after the installation. Additionally, I was expecting my new home buyers tax credit to come before the windows were installed, however this did not happen and I had to call to Terry to request we delay installation until August. Terry was great, rather than delay the installation he worked with me to pay the bill after completion of the work over the next two months. This is how every home contractor should be.

I called this company in an effort to set up an appointment to get an estimate for siding on my rowhouse. I placed my call on Mon. 8/9/10, at approximately 10:30 a.m. I was told that someone would call me back to set up an appointment. As of Fri. 8/13/10, I had not received a return call. I was very disappointed not to receive a return call since this company was highly recommended per the Angie's List website. In the interim, I called another company and was offered, and set up an appointment for an estimate during my initial telephone contact.

7/20 called them and left message. 7/21 they called to get details of job and said someone would call me back. 7/21 got a call back from salesman. He said he'd stop by house next day or two for the estimate. He kept cutting me off when I tried to discuss items with him. 7/22 Salesman called with estimate of $6800, but said there could be an additional $3K charge if the wood under my existing tin roof needed replacement. He told me he could look in the attic at the wood and give me a better idea of additional price. I gave him the name and phone number of my tenant living in the house to call to set up a time for him to come out. I told him to make sure he brought a step ladder. Once again he kept cutting me off and I finally inquired why he refused to let me finish a sentence and he stated he had just gotten new hearing aids and couldn't hear what I was saying. 728 My tenant said salesman did come by but couldn't figure out how to get into the attic - he thought you just pulled down a rope and steps dropped. He also didn't bring a step ladder. 7/28 Called salesman and found out he was on vacation for a few days so I spoke to the office manager who I inquired abut the status of my quote and found the salesman must have it because it wasn't in the office. I proceeded to tell her about my problems and concerns with the salesman not being able to hear or understand what I was saying to him. On 7/30 Terry, one of the owners called me to discuss the matter and ultimately I told him lets just forget the whole thing and I could contact another company. He admitted the salesman did having hearing problems but they weren't that bad. I told him I was only repeating exactly what the salesman told me and before I would be willing to spend thousands of dollars I first wanted to make sure the person I was dealing with could hear what I was saying. But I must say I am very dissapointed because I really felt from past reviews that this company would be good to deal with.

My wife contacted Central for an estimated around 8AM and I received a returned call around 9AM. I was told that Central had some time to come out two days later. On that day, the estimate was performed and the estimate was left for my review. The estimate was very professional, provided multiple options, and the cost was very competitive. I was very pleased with my service with Central Roofing and Siding Co.

Leak was fixed and everything went well. Technician was very friendly and found the leak quickly and sealed it. He even cleaned the gutters for a little extra money.

Super easy. It was optional for me to be there when they did the estimate. Sent a written estimate with no pressure to buy. Once we chose them the process was simple. We chose the color and then they did the work.

We thought they did a very professional job and in a timely manner. The roof only took one day and they cleaned up. They must have had 10-12 guys. They just had 2 guys for the vinyl so it took longer. They did excellent, excellent work - everything was perfect. I thought the price was a good price and competitive. The quality is excellent with both jobs. When we were deciding on the roof we couldn't decide on the color so a fellow from the company took us in his car to a couple of homes that had the color of roof that we were interested in. This way we could see the whole roof and not just the sample and we thought that was very helpful. Everything was very punctual, they came on the day they said they would and finished when they said they would. They were very, very professional and easy to talk to if you asked any questions or whatever.

It went fine. The work seems good, and it was a relatively small and narrow project.

The siding was done first. The two person crew was very friendly, explained what they would do and was responsive to some minor changes that we needed. It took 5 days to complete the project and they cleaned up well at the end of each day. A very minor quibble--they lost one of the clamps that secures the radon abatement system pipe to the house. The company quickly replaced it. The door was done about two weeks later. It took a two person crew one day. As anticipated, they discovered a large amount of wood rot under the old sill. They clearly explained the various remedies; we chose one, and they successfully rebuilt the sill. They were very conscientious about keeping the work site clean and did an excellent job. About one week after installation we began experiencing problems with the entry door lock; it would occasionally jam (it is a model that uses a key both inside and outside). The company promptly ordered a new lock and installed it.

They did the work in one day and cleaned up pretty well (very few nails on the ground and some shingle dust on the porch). They used the 25 year shingles at my request (for a little more money than the 20 year). I requested the lightest color because it reflects heat and lowers AC costs. As an extra bonus, I asked that they remove an antenna that was mounted on the chimney. The manager agreed to do it for free but his crew failed to do it. I called and then he came out and did it (I think he did it himself).

This was an exceptionally positive experience. The installers took extra care in protecting my home and its furnishings when they installed the windows and one door.

A great job. They were backed up quite a bit after all of the snow, but they told us it would be a few weeks. They also hauled all the old gutters away, which was a nice perk. The only little glitch I noticed is that one gutter drains onto our patio. While necessary to keep water away from the house, which was our biggest concern, it's a design dilemma on the patio. But a fairly minor issue all in all. No water coming in the house after those crazy blizzards! I highly recommend them.

Only complaint is that they made us wait a week before they could come out. Luckily it didn't rain during that time.

Positive experience. Everything was done as describe, Terry is very responsive and good in explaining things.
