Never received an estimate after someone came to our house ( on the wrong day, mind you) to review work ( 30 min at least was spent) that needed to be done. Was told I would receive estimate within 3 days. We received nothing. No reason even given as to why an estimate could not be provided when we called a few weeks later looking for estimate and was told I would be receiving something ASAP. Nothing. It has been 3 months so am assuming they are not interested but am disappointed that they completely dropped the ball. If this company did not want the job, the professional thing would have been to let the customer know that. Would NOT recommend.

Matt Kline was the representative from Central Roofing that came to my house to work a estimate. Matt was pretty straight forward and very professional. He did not brag about his company's reputation and years doing roofing work to get my business. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I had a set price for this job having received bids in years past. Matt gave me a competitive price to begin with. I settled for Central after receiving the discount offered in Angie's List. The total price was not far from my set figure. Matt was able to accommodate me on short notice (within a week). This was not the case with the other three companies I had contacted. The job went smoothly and was completed in one day. The crew cleaned and tightened the existing gutters. Additionally, the crew fixed and replaced a downspout which had recently disengaged and fallen down to the ground. This turned out to be a messy job when the workers started tearing down the existing roof as there was waste all around the house. The crew did provide covers to protect plants, outdoor furniture, etc. The crew cleaned and collected all waste after the job was completed. I am completely satisfied with the new roof. I solicited several proposals from roofing companies on Angies list. Central presented the best combination of product and pricing (similar product offered by all competitors). Project leader was well versed in technology and process. Crew arrived on scheduled date and completed work in promised time frame. Pricing was competitive with other quotes I received. Overall good experience.

They were very good. Their workmanship was excellent. Any time that we had a question or something that needed to be resolved, they came back with no complaints. They didn't complain about coming back to fix something that didn't look quite right. They were very, very knowledgeable and immaculately clean. When they were done with the roofing and siding work, there was not a single piece of material left. They totally cleaned up; there were no nails or pieces of siding. Their friendliness and punctuality were very good. They used subcontractors for some of it. When they said they were going to be there, they were there. Their price was comparable to other companies on the market; we actually got a couple of other quotes.

Everything went very well. The job looks beautiful and I am very happy with the work. We spoke with about 3 other companies and decided to go with Central. They worked in a very professional manner.

We spoke with five different roofing companies, and ultimately we decided on Central based on a combination of their great reputation on Angie's list, their price, and comfort level from speaking with Matt K. We are very happy with our decision. From estimate to project completion, Matt was a consummate professional. His responsiveness and helpful thoughts on answering our questions was much appreciated. Matt gave us a reasonable estimate for when the work would be completed. Work was delayed a day or two due to weather which was beyond Central's control. We were the unfortunate victims of theft of our copper downspouts. Matt advised us that the gutter and downspout materials need to be consistent in order to maximize their useful lives. Therefore, we had to either install new and expensive copper downspouts or install aluminum gutters and downspouts. We chose the latter option. Matt arranged to have the copper gutters (that the thieves were unable to steal) chopped into 3 foot segments so that we could have them recycled and recoup some of our costs for the new gutters. The roof looks great, and after a few big thunderstorms rolling through the area the new roof is doing its job. In short, we highly recommend Central for your roofing needs.

They were quick in getting to us with an estimate and their price was better than some others we contacted. They worked every day, all day until the job was finished. They were very pleasant and professional. I would hire them to do work again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent job. I had venting installed on my roof. However, the Angie's list coupon stated 5% off without any stipulations. After I had the work done, they said that it was only to be used for a new roof. This should have been stipulated on the coupon. I called them up about it, and they said they would change the wording on the Angie's list coupon but did not offer to honor the coupon "as is".

It was so easy! This was the lowest bid of 3 estimates. It wasn't necessary for me to be home for the initial estimate, unlike the other companies. They came within a day after calling and the proposal was ready the next day. The installation would have been within a week but weather was uncooperative. The entire project was done in a day unlike the other companies who said it would be at least a 2 day project. The workers were meticulous about clean up and circled the house several times cleaning up all debris. I didn't find a single stray nail, screw or any other material in my yard, driveway or street. I dealt entirely with Matt Kline who was pleasant, professional and responsive.

Original gutters on my 24 year old two story colonial were becoming unsightly and in disrepair. Over the winter a section had become detached. Rather than just getting it repaired, I decided to get a cost estimate of total replacement of the gutter and downspout system. I did some research and have a $ figure in mind. I called Central. Estimator came out and gave me a quote that was consistent with me est. I signed a contract and scheduled repairs within a couple day window of time. Work crew came within the window and professionally completed the work within several hours. Old gutters and resultant debris was removed and new system was in place and functioning properly.

I was very pleased with the work they did. The work was delayed because of the weather and the company was great about keeping me informed. The workers arrived early on the scheduled day. It was a large crew and they worked very hard to complete the roof in one day before the rain returned. I was especially happy that, Mitch, one of the owners I spoke with, made special arrangements with me to have the slate recycled at a local recycler rather than taking the slate to the county transit station where they don't recycle. I mentioned in a phone call that recycling was important to me and when I called him back a few days later he had looked into it and tried to locate a local place that would recycle the material. I know that it meant some extra work and I really appreciated it. The roof looks great and they contacted me a few days after the installation to check that all had gone well. Overall, a great experience.

We purchased a house and the inspection revealed that the rubber gaskets around the vent pipes had deteriorated, whcih allowed rain to fall directly into the attic. Also, the chimney only had wire chimney caps, so rain could fall directly into the chimney. Central was very quick to send a team out and they did all of the work the same day after assessing the problem (a total of maybe an hour of work). They had the aluminum/rubber collars in their truck and were able to buy the chimney caps at a local store. They worked quickly and inspected the rest of the roof for free. My only complaint was that the price seemed a little high, but I understand that they need to have a minimum fee for each job.

Called Central because I had a leak in the roof around the flashing of one of the chimney exhaust pipes. Jorge and his crew arrived on time and completed the necessary repairs very quickly. Jorge also did an inspection of the roof in order to provide a more detailed estimate for more extensive repairs/replacements. He was also very helpful in explaining the pricing, coverage, and some of the initial roof problems he noticed. Would definitely recommend this company.

Estimate quickly rendered for a siding job. Estimate was a very good price. Ultimately not selected due to greater specificity on another estimate with a longer warranty.

Originally called Central to patch a hole on one side of the roof made by a racoon trying to get in. Turns out the fascia on that side was rotting creating a gap. The gutters on the house were not directing water away from that area. Jorge, the estimator who came out, did a great job explaining the situation. He provided two options for repair, the first to simply address the hole and repair the shingles, the second to fix the overall situation with the fascia and gutters. I chose to address everything at once, but appreciated the choice. After approval the work was scheduled for the end of the following week. The new gutters were delivered Thursday, and their crew was out Friday afternoon to get the job done. The work looks god, it has rained several times since and the gutters have done their job. I deducted for punctuality, as the estimator was about 45 minutes late, and the crew did not show up until about 3pm on Friday to do the work. Granted, they never did specify a time on the install date, just that it would be either that Thursday or Friday. It might be more my hang up than a problem with how they do business, but as I wanted to be present when the work was being performed, I would have appreciated if they had provided a window for when they intended to show up. I have to admit I was worried they would not show once it hit around 2pm on a Friday. That said, they did show up when they said they would, they did a good job, for a fair price. I would surely hire them again for roof work if needed.

They quality of work was good. It took forever for them to come out and they missed 2 appointments.

The only thing that comes to mind is that, while cleaning up they cut the shingles into small pieces which could have been useful in future. They cleaned up beautifully. They worked very quickly. There were almost ten people coming and going in the course of three or four hours. They had delivered the shingles a day before. They were very careful to keep my garden intact. The garden was beautiful before they came and after they left. They took care of the plants. There was heavy rain and the roofs are not leaking so that?s positive. They were very pleasant. They were nice people. They were great. They came and did the work when I needed it to be done. The work was done smoothly. They did head and shoulders better job. They were much better than other companies. I would use them in the future.

I'm a first-time house-ownder and this was my first major investement in my place. Needless to say, I was nervous going into the process. But, I shouldn't have worried. Everyone I worked with at Central Roofing & Siding was terrific. From the initial estimates to the final inspection of the completed work, the staff were attentive to detail and patient in answering my myriad questions. One of the owners even arranged to meet me at his office so I could see a variety of windows from different manufacturers, which helped me make my final selection. Really great experience. I'd received several estimates from manufacturers and installers and Central Roofing & Siding's prices were the most competitive for what seemed to me to be a very comparable, quality product. And, they were great to work with, which made all the difference.

They gave a prompt estimate, worked exactly as scheduled, and billed for exactly what was estimated. They started the roof as I left for work and were done before I got home. I never even saw the gutter guys. If the roof wasn't a different color, I wouldn't even know anything had happened.

We lost a dozen or more shingles in a windstorm and heavy rains were in the forecast. I called on Friday, a salesman came on Saturday to estimate cost and the repairs were made on Monday. The new shingles are a perfect match to the rest of the roof. The repair is invisible. Excellent work!

We called March 2 and scheduled an estimate for March 9 and were told the minimum charge would be $275. They called March 3 and said they had someone available for March 4 - could they come the following day. They arrived early March 4 and performed the work in an hour. The work was completed for the minimum $275.

Team was amazing. Chris came out immediately and gave me the lowest estimate for the most work/product. He was always available, knowledgeable, and responsive. He answered several difficult questions and put me at ease. His crew was on time, fast, and cleaned up really well. The gutters look and work amazingly. Very professional and still willing to work with you. After this Winter's snow, I have yet to have a single problem.
