Walt came to the house on time, listened to my concerns, described in detail what and how he would be inspecting the roof (shingles, penetrations, ventilation system, flashings and valleys, gutter and downspouts), and depending on his findings, what he could do right away and/or would need to be done later. He was able to find where the two shingles came off, reattach and seal them. He also sealed several other areas including around the chimney and skylights. He was very honest in telling me that other than what he fixed, the roof was in excellent condition. I was very impressed with everything about how Walt performed and would definitely use Central Roofing and Siding Co. again!

I had water dripping in a stairwell from my attic. Central came out, and the representative was very friendly and professional. He really seemed honest and knew what he was doing. He found some areas on the roof that needed attention and replaced a few shingles. My only complaint was he did not check with me first before using similar, but non-matching shingles. He took some photos of his work to show me, which is helpful since inspecting it myself isn't an option. The cost I felt was reasonable for the time and work. Unfortunately, his work did not stop our leak. I called, and they sent the technician back out. This time, he started in the attic, and once there, found that the pvc exhaust pipe was leaking, not my roof. I wish I had checked this myself because I ultimately was able to fix that problem for around $25. I appreciated his time, and would use Central again for any work my home needed.

I purchased the Big Deal for roofing work from this company. Once the purchase was completed I called Central Roofing to schedule the appointment. The person with whom I spoke was very polite and friendly, but informed me that, because I owned a three-story townhouse, they would not be able to do the work. When I inquired further I was told they did not have a ladder that tall.

Central inspected our roof and found no problems with the shingles but did recommend that the caulking be replaced as it was old and cracking. They scraped and recaulkled the flashing and replaced the flashing around the ventilation pipes. We had asked for an inspection only but this was all done quickly in the same visit.

The work was started on the day agreed upon, and the office staff were courteous and agreeable to deal with. Otherwise, I was disappointed with the work. A crew arrived with no clear leadership, the only points of contact being a few who appeared to speak more English than the others. Nothing was moved or protected around the house when the work began, and indeed an outdoor carpet on the patio was used as a drop zone for the old shingles. No flashing or wood sheathing was replaced, contrary to the understanding I had when the proposal was made. The objective seemed to be to complete the work as quickly as possible. A few issues to keep in mind: 1. Read the contract carefully, and assume that any work to be performed on an “as needed” basis will not be done; 2. Move and protect anything around the perimeter of the house that could get damaged by shingles before the crew arrives; and 3. Don’t assume that anyone from Central Roofing management will show up during the course of the work to check on how the work is progressing.

This was by far the best construction experience we have had. Workman were very professional; the windows and door were installed when promised and in the time promised; cleanup was great. Overall one could not ask for more. terry was really easy to work with and frank may be the best installer in this business. They were on time, worked through 2 days leaving no mess behind. We highly recomend this company.

I called Central and made an appointment that worked good for me. The company was very helpful when choosing a date that would work. On the day of my appointment, Walter arrived on time and was very helpful in explaining the process. He took his shoes off at the front door and respected my home as I showed him my leak from the inside. He inspected the exterior of the roof and gave me the details of his findings. I agreed to the work and Walter got started right away. He completed the work on the roof within an hour and a half and returned to my door to explain my warranty and billing. He was an absolute pleasure to work with.

It turned out very well. We are happy with it. There are certain low spots to it still; it is a flat roof I do not know if it is supposed to be there. I hope it does not leak any time soon. Overall we are happy. They were competitively priced. They were not able to start on time because of weather. The estimate said that they were going to put an insulation under the flat roof but then they were not going do it when they actually started. So we had to go back to the contractor and inform what they had promised to do. But they did come through for us and they made that right. We will use them in the future.

No complaints. Workers were very respectful and careful and pleasant. Job took several hours.

Walter was extremely friendly and thorough. He went up into our attic and climed the open rafters, to be 100% sure he found where it was leaking from.

Everything went very well. They did a great job. It was wonderful. It was a great experience from the beginning to end. They cleaned up really well. They were very respectful of our property and covered up the outside air conditioning when they were taking down the roof so it wouldn’t get any debris in it.

The salesmen showed up on time, was very knowledgeable and professional. After getting three quotes, Central Roofing's was the lowest. After signing the contract, we scheduled a service date. Crews showed up on time. The crew was friendly, neat and did an excellent job -- and cleaned up the site before leaving.

They were okay but not exceptional. Their estimated price of $3900 for the siding wasn’t anything fantastic. They quoted me $500 for any window, which seemed a little strange to me. They followed up once, and that was it, and I guess that is reasonable; they did not harass me. I decided against doing that work. There was nothing wrong with them. They were professional, and their punctuality was fine. If I am planning on doing that kind of work, I might consider getting another estimate from them, but I would compare them with others.

Central turned out to be the best company which I have ever used to make home improvements! To begin with, their salesman, Bernie, is an exceptional guy. He was not only the person who came out initially to provide me an estimate, he frequently called and dopped by the house to see how the work was progressing. If I had any questions or special requests, he would immediately consult with the crew to make sure that they were addressed. I've never experienced such good service from any company and Bernie still checks in on occasion. The crew that installed my windows and doors worked incredibly hard, taking a great deal of care to get things exatly right. There were no shortcuts. Frank, the crew chief, came out more than once prior to the beginning of the work to take measurements and brought a Pella rep with him on one visit to go over in detail how each window was to be installed. Frank also came up with ingenious solutions to needs that came up, such as devising an adequately-wide step outside of one of the new doors. He is a real find and dedicated to quality work and is well-versed in building codes, as is Bernie. Frank has also dropped by personally since the job was completed to answer questions I have had about the windows or doors.. As long as Frank is in charge of Central's installations, the customer doesn't need to worry about the quality of work. The price for the whole project was fair and even with the additional amounts I paid for extra work I requested during installation, I am convinced that I got far more for my money than I would have gotten had any other company, including Pella, done the installation. I cannot recommend Central Roofing and Siding highly enough.

I could not have asked for better. Everything was explained thoroughly, workers were punctual and neat and after checking prices, I found that the charge was reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Central Roofing & Siding Co was fairly prompt. We had some bad weather and they couldn't complete the process until later. They were also professional and I would use them in the future.

They were excellent. Some of the qualities I noticed about them was, the process, coming out for the appointment, their professionalism, their clean up and the quality of their crew that was sent out. I would use their services again in the future.

We would recommend them and would use them again.

Central Roofing and Siding was wonderful to work with. You can tell they are a family owned company and take pride in their work. They were courteous, professional, and responsive. When we moved to a new house and saw something on our fairly new roof that we wanted checked out, we didn't hesitate to call Central Roofing. They came promptly, determined the roof was fine, and left with no charge. I highly recommend them.

Overall, it was a great experience. They did alot more for me than I expected or that was told about by other companies. They did a very nice job. Their price was very good. I've already recommended to others.

Had detailed and informative negotiation based on difference in their bid and another that was about $1,000 lower. Explained the differences and came down in price, though not all the way. Work was scheduled and done within a week. They did the roof one day and the gutters/leaf covers the next. They left no mess. I couldn't even tell they had been there, aside from the new roof and gutters. They do limit credit cards to $5000 due to fees. I asked if they would discount total cash/check payment and he offered a small reduction (~1%). Overall, I was very pleased with the people, the work and the result.

Once scheduled, crew arrived on time and completed the job over two days. Majority of work completed first day. The crew leader came on first day for the morning and spoke english. The rest of the crew did not appear to understand enlish.

They did a pretty good job and they were professional. I don't have anything to compare their price with.

The contractor arrived on time as promised. The ridge vent work went well and I was pleased with the products. The paint however was applied right before a rainstorm which the product does not recommend. I noticed white paint coming out of my downspouts after the rain and took pictures. I contacted the company because I have animals who go out in the yard and I was concerned for both their safety and the investment I had made in the roof coating which I expected to last. The company offered to come back, inspect the roof and re-coat the flat roofs at no additional charge. When the contractor came back he said that only one place on the roof paint job appeared to be questionable, but he re-coated the roof anyway.
