Overall, it went extremely well. The roofing specialist arrived on time and introduced himself. He proceeded to do a visual inspection from the ground. He then inquired about any specific concerns that I had and then proceeded to inspect the rooftop. The problem with the leak was fixed without further ado at no additional cost! He also informed me that the rest of the roof was in fair condition without any other problems needing attention. I was almost expecting to be told that I needed a whole new roof as another company informed me OVER THE PHONE without ever doing an inspection! I have not had any further problems or leaks since, even with the severe rain and extreme winds of Hurricane Sandy! I would definitely use Central Roofing & Siding in the future and would definitely recommend their services.

i spoke to someone one month ago but never received an estimate. Have now canceled and request a refund from Angie's list.

I am not satisfied with the customer service I received from this company.

Took a short while to connect and get estimate. Set date for 2 weeks after initial meeting. Weather conditions pushed actual job forward by only 1 day. Entire job took only 1 day. Super fast, courteous and efficient. Was impressed with careful cleanup. Job came in slightly under estimate because they were honest, and only replaced the amount of plywood that actually needed replacement.We are delighted! Highly recommend!

It went really well. I got 4 different estimates and chose Central for the pricing and because they didn't try to talk me into anything I didn't think I needed. After they started the job they gave me a couple of options of work I could have done but didn't push when I said I didn't want it. They replaced my gutters with their basic aluminum gutter. They examined the fascia and soffit, and replaced a few sections of rotted fascia but said the soffit only needed a paint job. They suggested I cap the fascia in aluminum so that I would never have to paint it or worry about rot. I did that and am pleased with it. I don't have any expertise about gutters so I was very happy a few weeks later when a completely separate repairman was up on my roof and commented on how well the gutters were done. He particularly liked the capping, saying that it was done in such a way as to prevent animals from entering the attic. The only thing I wasn't happy about was that the workers left a section of the attic exposed overnight. I was particularly concerned because I've had problems with wild animals entering my house. I called late in the day when I saw it and they apologized and assured me they'd take care of it if anything got in. All in all, I would certainly use Central again though I would check their work before they left for the day.

So far, everything went well. I had some difficulty arranging for the appointment. There was some confusion while trying to set the appointment, but that had to do with the availability of the personnel. They were backed up because of this Big Deal.

They did it in a timely manner and as advertised.

They were on time, did quality work, and responded to the concerns and requests I had. Their prices were fair and this company is honest.

The repairs went well, just didn't last.

I contacted Central Roofing & Siding Company to perform repairs on my roof from recent storm damage. I explained that only a section of my roof was damaged and that it would likely require removal and replacement of portions of my shingles. The estimator, Bernie, promptly came out and provided an estimate of replacing the entire front-side of the roof. Unfortunately, that's not what I had asked for in an estimate and explained that my insurance company would only pay to replace the section of the roof that sustained damage. He acknowledged this and revised his estimate which he then sent to me to ensure clarity. Upon reviewing the estimate, I saw that he was still estimating the replacement of 3/4 of the front of my roof. I called back to Central Roofing and explained the situation to Bernie once more and was told that "...it would be too small of a job..." and that it "...wasn't worth his time..." (quotes) however he told me he would call me back after he reviewed. That was the last I heard from him and frankly I don't want to do business with the company due to this last communication. If my roofing repair isn't worth their time then they shouldn't have given me an estimate in the first place and wasted MY time in the process.

The estimator, Dennis, was very knowledgeable, as well as easily reachable by email, and without being heavy handed, gave us good advice as we went through the process of selecting the shingles, skylights, colors, etc. The work took place over several days; it was amazing how fast and efficiently the crew worked. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up. Since the work just got finished, it is too soon to see whether there will be any leaks down the road, but in today's heavy rainstorm there were no problems.

We have used Central Roofing and Siding Company in July, 1977 (storm windows and gutters); November, 1978 (storm doors); July, 1989 (roof shingles on house) June, 2012 (roof shingles on the house). From past experience we knew we were dealing with a 'quality' company. Due to all of the storm damage in the DC Metro area after the June Derecho Storm, we knew that we would have problems trying to get a hold of a roofing company to repair damages to the garage. I got a quote from one of the other roofers and was shocked as to the amount they wanted for the roof repair. I talked with Mitch Greenberg late July, 2012 and got a roof inspection on August 6th (the oak tree came down on the garage roof on July 5, 2012) and he told me that the company was approximately 6-8 weeks behind and suggested that I try another roofing company. I told Mitch how much the other roofer wanted and decided that I would wait for his company to do the repairs. Bernie Greenberg was my main contact and he helped me with the estimates to submit them to the insurance company. This roofing company was worth the wait. The crew was on time, professional, friendly and most important, they knew what they were doing. They were here from 9:30 am till 4:00 pm to repair the damage and to re-shingle the garage. Thank you Mitch, Bernie and to the repair crew. It is greatly appreciated.

He was able to determine the reason behind the leak that I have been experiencing between the exterior wall of my home next to the garage. He fixed the problem that prior roof specialists overlooked. Now I no longer have a leak in my garage when it rains.

The company was responsive and punctual. The roofer explained the inspection before he began and everything he did after. He answered all of my questions and I am confident that if I need roofing services in the future Central Roofing is the company I will contact!!!

I contacted Central Roofing at 4:15 pm in order to schedule an appointment for a repair estimate. The person who answered the phone...had a horrible phone manner. I had to explain that I needed a roof repair twice. Then the person told me that I had to "call back tomorrow when the girls who do that are here." WHAT? Are you really telling me that you're too lazy to take my name and number??! There is no way I'm calling this company back. If this is how they handle potential business, there's no way I can work with them.

Super. Punctual, efficient, friendly.

We decided not to go with this provider because we got a special deal (75% of most bids) from another roofer who had done work for a couple of our friends. That roofer is an independent with low overhead and he's trying to build his business. If that were not the case, we would have gone with Central Roofing and I'm sure been quite satisfied.

Very pleased with entire project and will probably use this company when we need entire roof replaced.

They were wonderful. Their price was the cheapest and they were very very helpful with their information.

Had to wait a a few weeks before person was available to come to house due to popularity of Angie's List Big Deal, but on scheduled date, the person was on time and professional. Showed me the parts of the pipe collars that were replaced and reviewed what he did. Overall, pleased with nice job Central did.

The service man thoroughly inspected the roof and nailed down a few loose shingles. I was very satisfied with the inspection and service and plan to call Central Roofing and Siding when it is time to replace the roof.
