The roofing company was very responsive when I contacted them and readily honored the Angie's List discount. They weren't the cheapest but I was swayed by the other good reviews. They brought the materials the afternoon before and were there at 7:30 am to start - and just finished up as my husband came home. They cleaned up their materials well. No surprises, which is just what I wanted! I also appreciated their being OSHA-compliant and using appropriate fall protection, which a lot of roofers don't do.

I requested quotes from four roofers and was very happy with two of the quotes. Based on reviews on Angies List and impressions of the salesman, I chose Central Roofing. They requested a very small deposit before starting the work, thousands below the amount alowed by law. The salesman explained that they were confident in thier work and by only requesting a small deposit, the homeonwner would feel confident that they had control over the work done. The work was completed on schedule, the worksite was left in immaculate condition and the roof and gutters look great. I was out of town when the work was completed and was told not to wory about rushing to settle the bill, I could handle it when I got back. This company was very professional and kept me informed of thier progress throughout the entire project (I am an absentee owner). I have already requested a quote on another project.

This entire process - estimate to finish - was extraordinary. Terry Greenberg arrived at my house promptly at the scheduled time to generate an estimate for the job. He was personable, knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. We discussed options for a variety of different products/prices and he gave advice and recommendations without any pressure or coercion. He prepared a bid proposal and emailed it to me. I informed him of the necessity to delay action until my financing was approved and he worked with me patiently until that happened. He was able to schedule delivery of the materials and installation to accommodate my schedule. The crew showed up promptly on the scheduled day and though they were interrupted by a rain shower, they were in direct communication with their foreman and I also spoke with Terry and we all agreed to wait for the rain to clear. The crew thoroughly covered the exposed areas with tarps to avoid damage and when the rain stopped, they proceeded to remove and replace the roof. They completed the job by the end of the day - as promised - including complete cleanup of old materials, nails, packing materials. Terry called the next day to confirm completion, inquire about my satisfaction, and indicate that he would mail an invoice for payment. I offered to serve as a reference for future clients. I received the invoice on the following day and have paid it in full. Terrific service, professional people, quality products, fair prices, and honest communications. By the way, two other companies had warned that I had extensive damage to the plywood under the roof and that it would cost $60.00/sheet of plywood to repair. There was NO damage and while Terry had offered to replace a few sheets at no charge, that was NOT necessary. I recommend the company without hesitation.

They was fine and the roof did not leak for a while.

I was very very pleased with this company with the exception of the delivery of the Shingles. It was a very warm day, but the men dropped the shingles so h****** my roof that I have large nail pops and a few cracks in my ceilings in several places in my house, especially in the laundry and dining rooms. Some of the shingle packages were placed down and others appeared to have just been dropped. I was trying to work at the time and could hear the difference. As I have a bad neck, I didn't look up much so did not notice the extent of the interior damage until after the project was complete. The salesman, the foreman overseeing the project, and the installers were all very professional and most roofing nails were picked up at the end of the job.

The original work went so well we have requested a quote for replacement of all of our outdoor wood trim.

They came out and did what they were supposed to. No problems. It was a good value.

I purchased this Big Deal from Angie's List for Roof Maintenance. They were very responsive and punctual. The service I received was perfect, have no complaints at all. Central Roofing was professional and so impressive that my neighbor came over hired them to replace her whole roof and she also was really pleased with their work and had no complaints.

Central Roofing and Siding professionals arrived on time and began the repairs and/or replacements to my gutters and downspouts that I had requested. However, as the work progressed, I was advised by a workman on site that some additional work was needed and should be completed. I agreed to the additional work and the associated additional charge which was coordinated with me by the CR&S front office, and this added work was begun. However, at the end of the job, I was told that even more work had been required and this second added work, too, had already been completed, at an additional cost beyond the earlier quoted figure. Now, the quality of all of the work was first class. I don't think that any contractor could have done a better job in correcting and improving my gutters and downspouts. Unfortunately, I had not been advised ahead of time that this last additional work had been required,and, consequently, I had not approved this last added work; nor was I aware that the final cost would be higher still. Regrettably, this final added amount caused the cost to exceed my highest expectations of payment, and, in fact, it exceeded my uppermost limit. Now, let us be clear: Central Roofing and Siding is truly a first-class, highly reputable organization, and in view of the circumstances facing this senior citizen, CR&S simply allowed this customer to pay the last price quoted to me which was lower and within my budget, and for this, my wife and I are eternally grateful. The discussion regarding this matter that I had with the CR&S front office was very cordial, respectful and quickly resolved, and, accordingly, my wife and I truly believe that we could not have had a more satisfactory experience with any vendor given this adverse yet artfully managed issue. I sincerely thank CR&S for their good work and their understanding, and I highly recommend and clearly commend them to any and all clients who are looking for the very highest quality on-site workmanship led by an equally first-rate front office.

The person from Central showed up a little earlier than he said he would be here and was very prompt in finding and fixing the problem. The only issue I had at all was the fact that I couldn't get an appointment for almost a week.

The company completed the repairs and the new roof on time, delivered the materials for the work the day before as promised and cleaned up. They talked to me before the work and called me after the work to make sure that I was happy with what they had done. The roof looks good, I have had no further problems with leaking and I was very happy with their responsiveness. They are very busy so I had to wait for an appointment. I would use them again for any roof or gutter problems I have.

The service was wonderful. My roofer not only did seasonal maintenance, but also advised me that my roof was not ready for replacement. I was quite relieved because another company's salesman was pressuring me to buy a new roof. When the time comes to replace it, I will call Central Roofing to do the work. I value honesty. In my view, honesty and good work are intimately connected.

I appreciate contractors that are honest and aren't out to just take your money. Of course as a novice i depend on a fair and honest assessment and that is exactly what Central Roof provided! Bravo to them!

We originally spoke to Terry, one of the owners. He came out to the house to give us a quote. He was very helpful in going over our options and did not put any pressure on us to buy from him. The Simonton vinyl replacement windows are top rated according to a J.D. Powers survey. The attic insulation was done first since the windows had to be ordered. The crew that did the blown-in attic insulation showed up on time, worked very quickly but thoroughly, and cleaned up completely. They let us inspect the work before closing the access panel to the attic, which they also insulated. The Central Roofing crew also showed up on time with a large number of people so they could finish in one day to avoid an approaching snow storm. Each person was very friendly and carefully removed the old windows and installed the new ones. The supervisor focused on replacing the sliding glass door. They showed us how the door and windows worked. They also completely cleaned up all debris inside and outside before leaving. They really did an outstanding job. The windows are great and keep the house noticeably warmer than the old ones. This was a great experience.

Everything went well, and the issue was resolved so far. They came and did the job, very professional, and on time. Would use them again.

Throughout the project, from the estimate visit to the completion and follow-up calls, Central was competent, professional, and very rewarding to work with. The crews had to work through weather adversity - wind storms, rain, and snow events all occurred in the course of the project, necessitating delays in progress of the various phases. At all times the crew supervisor kept us informed of what was happening, what was projected, and other schedule issues as the situation warranted. Communication could not have been better. In the course of the various phases, the work crews applied themselves diligently, and kept the work area neat and clean at all times. Cleanup after all phases was comprehensive and complete. We were extremely happy with the overall outcome of the project - the appearance and structural integrity of our house has been enhanced well beyond the dollar cost of the initiative. I would not hesitate to recommend Central Roofing & Siding as a very competent contractor, and have done so several times to friends and neighbors who inquired/commented about the (obvious) superior project outcome.

If I didn't know better I would have thought the two people I dealt with at Central Roofing were the owners of the company. I scheduled and rescheduled (because of weather/ ice on roof) roof repairs on my homes with Elisa and she was not only very pleasant on the phone but also very knowledgeable of what was needed and a estimate of the cost that would be associated with it. Walter came out to fix and inspect the homes and he too was prompt, courteous and professional. Walter climbed around the roof like "Spiderman" and you could tell he not only enjoyed his job but was very good at it as well. Shingles were replaced at both residences and minor work done at the other. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that was completed. Elisa and Walter are two people that will have very rewarding and successful careers. Thank you both.

They are not able to perform this work because it is out of my area. They were polite on the phone.

As far as I can determine, the work was completed expertly and expeditiously. The condition of our roof and the work done was explained in detail. Walt was friendly and demonstrated his extensive knowledge and expertise in roofing. I would happily use his services when we next require roofing work performed.

We originally called Terry about the shutters which were in serious need of replacement. We had previously had Terry give us an estimate for the roof when they replaced our gutters last year, so when we decided to do the shutters, we signed on to replace the roof as well. The roofing guys came exactly when expected, finished in one day, and cleaned up thoroughly. The shutters were installed a few days later and look spectacular. We could not be more pleased with Central's work.

Terry the owner is great to deal with. Called in the fall and he came and gave me an estimate with several choices for replacing my roof. I had some other estimates but Terry's estimate was the most reasonable and he was not pushing all the bells and whistle upgrades. Also he had great reviews on Angies list. Finally in the winter my roof leaked again. I called to get it replaced. Terry honored the fall bid even though prices went up. He set a date, did it all in one day. The roof looks great and the crew cleaned every piece of debris and nail from the property. I highly recommend Central Roofing for cost, doing,excellent work and professionalism.

We dealt with Mitch Greenberg, who provided the estimate and scheduled the work after they received our skylight. Two layers of shingles had to be removed before the new drip edge, Winterguard and shingles were installed. We also had our fascia boards and soffits covered. Our old gutters were removed and new gutters with Leaf Relief were installed. All the work was done quickly and professionally. Although we sometimes had difficulty communicating with the on-site staff because of language barriers, we felt they all worked at a professional level. We would have liked to have been better informed about what work was going to be done the next day and what time it would start. Other than that, we were very pleased with our interactions with everyone in the company. The office staff was always very helpful. So far this winter our new roof and gutters have done their job during the recent heavy rain and strong winds.

We had a very old slate roof. I found Terry through Angie's List. He responded quickly, gave us a complete and thorough estimate. Terry was great to work with, work was done on time and well. He made a good recommendation for the look of a new roof that went with our house and neighborhood. Clean up was so good I wasn't sure they had actually come and gone till I saw the new roof. Would recommend them without reservation.

They determined roof was ok, but noted several areas where caulk had cracked and peeled away. Spent a lot time peeling away old caulk and replacing it. So far so good.
