Cleaned up very well. They were unbelievable. Very reasonably priced. Worked with the payment well with us.

I knew I had some shingles that needed replaced and I went on the roof and pointed that out to him. He told me he only had 3 with him and he replaced them with broken pieces. I was disappointed with not getting quality replacement shingles. Where sealant was placed the work did seem to be okay.

They were good, timely and professional. The deal that I purchased was good and the quality was good.

Terry Greenberg was incredibly responsive. Central Exterior got my business because they were one of two companies that actually responded to my request for a bid. Terry came to my home when promised and provided excellent advice when I decided to change my old sliding glass door for a french door. Rather than sell me the most expensive door, he told me where it was worth spending more money and where the extra cost was not justified. He was very patient when I decided to change my mind and add the door to the project. I live overseas, so I had my father-in-law, who is very detailed-oritented, monitor the work. He told us they did an OUTSTANDING job. As a consequence of the quality of their work, I need to replace my rather shabby looking deck. I am sorry they don't do decking as I would hire them in a minute. Leslie

Job start was delayed by several weeks due to wet weather. This is not a big deal since we were kept informed of the schedule slippage. The job was completed in about one week and appeared to go as well as could be expected. As nearly as we could tell, the overall job was done in a professional manner. We are not happy about the inability to communicate with the work crew. Post job cleanup was thorough and prompt.

Mr. Bernie Greenberg, the estimator for Central Roofing, arrived on time. He was very courteous, affable, and thoroughly professional. He looked the property over, discussed the options with me, and gave me an estimate. He also delivered on his promise to deliver a written estimate by mail detailing all of the terms covered in the estimate. The quote arrived the next business day. Due to the complexity of the job, I decided to go with another firm. However, Central Roofing was my second choice, and I will not hesitate to contact them for other services in the future, or to recommend them to others. I appreciated their professionalism and competitive pricing.

Arrived early and proceeded to inform me what he was going to do and went straight to work. I was very satisfied with the end results.

He completed and inspection of our roof. He also cleaned some leafs off the corners of the roof after I asked him to.

Examined the entire roof and when we pointed out spot that has leaked in the past, patched up spot. We have not had any leaks since.

For a professional company doing a good job is important but maintaining a good record following the job is even more important. That is the reason I am writing my review today (more than 2 years after the job). The roofing was done professionally and we have had no leaks up to this date (6/6/2013). We have 10 years warranty on all workmanship and 25 years warranty on material. However, last week I noticed on the north side of our garage the roof molding on which the roof shingles rest were rotten and needed repair. I contacted the company and asked what I could do. Mich told me they are not doing wood work and I should find a carpenter. But they could cover the wood with metal which would prevent the rotting problem permanently. He said he would come on Wednesday (6/6/2013) and let me know what we could do. I asked him to inspect other areas in the house and let me know if we needed to do more repair. I told him that I may not be home and since the problem was outside the house he could do the inspection without me being there. He confirmed. Unfortunately, I did not see Mich that day because I had to take my car for repair. I had not heard from him until the next day (today). Today I called his office and talked to Lisa. I asked her whether she had any report about the inspection for me. She told me she did not and Mich was with a client and she could not contact him. I told her "if I do not hear from Mich within the next hour I would write my experience on Angie's list". She said he may be with the client that long. I said then if I do not hear from him by the end of today then I will write the review. I added "he cannot be with the client for the whole day". She said he will call me back. Close to noon time Mich called me back sounding very angry. He said I will not do any job for you because you have been disrespectful of my secretary and before I could say anything he cut me off. I was in the middle of gardening. Thus after a while I called the company again. This time I talked to Nicole. I asked for Lisa. She said she is not available. I wanted to talk to her. Then I asked Nicole to ask Mich to call me back. I told her I wanted to give a chance to Mich for one more time before I write the review. In the afternoon Mich called me and repeated his unprofessional remark that he would not do business with me because I had threatened him to write in Angie's list and I had been disrespectful of his secretary. This time I had the chance to respond. I asked "what had I done?" He said "you had given one hour time to her to contact him and since she was very busy that was being disrespectful". I said "that is not being disrespectful" He called me a liar. I asked whether my roof warranties were effective. He said they are. Then he added "Do you have a leak in your roof?" I said "No". Mich's understanding of warranty on the roof is having a leak and he does not have the professional attitude towards his clients. CUSTOMER RESPONSE TO THE COMPANY RESPONSE BELOW Please note that all the bold words made by the statements, indicated below, by the company response are incorrect. Paragraph 1. ?six months ago (member name removed) called our office angry that he had a roof problem? I told them I had a leak in the cellar and most probably was due to the rotten wood not on the roof but along the foundation wall. Instead of replacing the wood they suggested to remove part of the siding (two rows) along the cellar and repair the problem. The price was too high and I corrected the problem with sealant. Paragraph 2. ? He was incredibly rude and disrespectful to our office manager, Elisa? The statement is utterly false. Please note my version of the telephone communication in the review. Paragraph 2. ?He threatened her on 2 occasions that if ?Mich does not call me back in 1 hour, I will write a negative review on Angies List? I told Ms Elisa I will write my experience with them in Angies?s List. Also, He mentions on 2 occasions but does not write that I extended my deadline to the end of the day for writing about my experience (please see my report). At the end of my communication, I gave him until the end of the day to contact me and I definitely did not make a gender specific derogatory comment to her.

We called to schedule our "Big Deal" and they came within a week. The inspector was very helpful, thorough (wished we'd had someone like him when we bought the house) and also very personable (which was an unexpected bonus). I highly recommend them.

Matt Kline was a pleasure to work with. All the work was performed as ordered. His crew was fast, efficient, and always ready to answer my questions. The premises was left to very clean condition and the siding looks great!

Rain was seeping thru the exhaust. Issue was fixed promptly.

We have had no trouble with the roof or gutter system. They were very professional. They are a family business and had been in business 50+ years which I liked.

The initial inspection was as promised. It took a little while and several follow up calls to get an estimate for additional repair work. Generally it was a very positive experience, though.

There is no roofing problem after one month.

Walt was great and very honest. He explained what was needed to do the job and that everything was covered under my Angie's list Big Deal purchase.

The company charges $50 for an estimate, but this goes towards the repair cost. It is hard to find a company that is willing to do roof repair work, understandably, they prefer to do the entire roof - but my roof was only 2-3 years old. I spoke with Nicole who explained their process efficiently and scheduled an estimate. The person that came out was professional, courteous, and seemed knowledgeable. They had to remove two rows of shingles along the line of the roof juncture with the porch, install a under-layment that would help prevent leaks at that juncture (it started leaking 2 years after installation - the previous installers should have installed the under-layment at this juncture in the first place, but didn't). They also identified several areas where the caulking was old and prone to leaks. The estimate done within the week by Elisa, also very professional and courteous. Scheduled the work for a week later, of course it rained that day. No problem, Elisa called in the morning to confirm work couldn't be done that day due to rain and rescheduled for a few days later. Central Roofing crew came promptly, did work, and left the place neat. There has been several heavy rains since, and no more leak - YAY! I am VERY happy with my experience, felt a quality job was done at a reasonable price. I now see they also do doors, and plan to contact them about a replacement entry door. I highly recommend Central Roofing!

While they weren't always as responsive as I would have liked, they did the job on the days promised and we are very happy with the result. We bought a house that had some major water damage and the roof was one of the first things we fixed. They had to remove a lot of rotten wood and patch areas that needed it. The gutters are also great. The porch roof was not done correctly at first, so I emailed a photo to them and they had their team out there to fix it. I appreciated their honesty in resolving the issue and the porch is now draining rain water better. Overall, very happy with the result, although the final cost was a bit higher than I would have expected, and certainly higher than their initial quote. This company has been doing roofing for 45+ years, though, and I think they deserve the business.

I shopped around and they were the best price. They came recommended by other people who used them and they were really great to work with. They did an excellent job. We worked with Terry Greenburg and he was just wonderful. He was easy to work with, gave us a good price, his men did a good job. I would highly recommend them.

I called various companies and received multiple estimates. I called Central Roofing for an estimate and they came out the same day and emailed me my estimate the next day. Bernie, the estimator, was very helpful and insightful. He came back about a week later and we initiated a contract. Work started about 10 days later. The actual work was top notch and the workers where very professional and hardworking. They arrived about 8 a.m. in the morning and finished around 7 p.m. right before the sun went down. We found out we had a lot of bad wood and the replaced almost the entire roof. We got new flashing, ice and water shield and a new ridge vent. The quality of work was awesome. They cleaned up the entire surroundings of the house. It looked like a brand new home! We will definitely use them for other jobs and refer them to neighbors and friends! Thanks Central Roofing!!
