When it rained, or even drizzled, my roof dripped onto the ceiling of my bathroom. Each drip was about 20 seconds apart. For the first visit he fixed a whole bunch of stuff, which changed the drip, but did not go away. He came out a total of three times, the last time he took my garden hose up and sprayed around, in the vents and everywhere. He crawled into my attic space. Then he went back outside and lifted up some shingles and found one that was wet underneath. He followed the wetness to a tiny hole in the ridge vent, which he calked. That fixed it. The same man showed up each time. He was punctual, courteous and patient. He never did recommend that I get a new roof. Somehow he knew my old one was okay. The extra visits were covered under warranty. I am very grateful.

Had seen 2 other companies before calling Central Roofing. Met with Walt the Service Manager who was very nice. He was not pushy at all. I knew there was a leak in the roof. Walt gave the option of replacement or they could just repair. Before my father passed he said the roof needed replacing so it just made sense to get it done. Found out the company that had replaced the porch T.U.I construction made a few mistakes with the roof portion and that was causing the leak. Received proposal from Matt the exterior modeling specialist within a few days. Roof was done in one day. Yard was cleaned by the time I came home. Would use them again.

Roofer arrived early but waited for me until I got dressed to come to the door. He was very nice and took his time to inspect the room and let me know what needed to be done to help the roof and how long it would last. He told me that I needed minor repairs, which he did and included in the $300 price and that my roof should last another 5 years which was nice to hear since I was not looking forward to spending money on a roof right now.

Matt performed a detailed inspection, noted that our roof is in good shape and still has a few years or more of life in it before we need to consider replacing it. That was a big relief because the house had many issues that needed a significant investment and a new roof would have been a real financial strain. He provided a quote of $7,800 for a 25 year shingle "Integrity Roof System" with an additional $650 for a 30-year shingle and $50 per sheet for plywood, as needed. Now we know how much to save. Thanks for the service and peace of mind.

Our experience with Central Roofing and Siding was OUTSTANDING in replacement of our wood trim, soffits, gutters, downspouts and leaf guards. Our house looks absolutely fabulous and we will definitely be using them in the near future. They get an A+ from us. Thanks again for a job well done!

Anthony did a get job in explaing what type roof and gutters I need for my house. They did an outsanding job on replacing the roof and gutters on my. They did the roof and gutters in one day and cleaned up the yard very good. I used them several years ago to replace the siding on my house and they have the same outstanding service.

A guy name Walt came on Wednesday August 14th 2013 around 9:50am. He took about 45 minutes. He noticed the shingles were ok and all were present. He replaced a pipe collar & re-caulked the pipe collar. He re-caulked the nails on the ridge vent. He found the roof flashings & valleys, gutters & downspouts were ok.

There was a little trouble communicating with siding people because of not being proficient with the English language, but we worked it out. All workers are hard workers, cleaned up very well after work was done, they were on time each day and polite always. Three days to do all the work which I expected.

The estimator who came out was very professional and knowledgeable. They did not ask for a deposit upfront. They got the materials and got the work done without having a deposit. We spoke to other roofing companies who wanted money down and it made us kind of nervous. Their estimate may have been a bit high, but it was worth it. They came within a couple days of the estimate. They were ready as soon as we were ready for them to come. When they came, they finished the work in one day. They were very fast and we were very pleased with the work. They were very responsive which was nice because we weren’t home when they did the work.

Everything went well. I waited this long before writing the review to make sure things are holding up. It has been a year now and roof is still there :) So quality work. Price was lower than three other companies I talked to. Mitch was nice and taking his time in explaining different jargons used in roof. Very knowledgable. There was a small issue after the installation that took some back and forth and left me a little frustrated as the guy didn't come on the day it was scheduled. Other than this, everything is good. I would use their service again and wont' hesitate to recommend their work.

Terry met w/ us and discussed pricing, showed shingle samples, answered our questions. He gave advice and recommendations. He was very pleasant, professional and polite. The crew showed up on agreed upon day, and did their work. Left each day after cleaning up, and informed us what time they would return the following day. Terry also told us that they would inspect roof yearly since the shingles and work have a lifetime warranty. In all, we are pleased with the job and the roof. We selected energy-saving shingles.

It was very good, very decent. The work was a general service and he did the service to my satisfaction so I have no complaints about the contractor. I am happy and pleased. I don't know the exact amount but it was less than $200. They're very affordable. I think they were very professional. If I have to get my roof serviced again, I would go to the service provider.

It worked out okay. I know that they came and did the work and put some conquer in the chimney. They said everything was in fine shape. We've had a major storm come through since then so there's other issues after that but not because what they've done. Their price was okay.

Fantastic. They gave us thorough advice on the options, including advising against a few more expensive products they didn't think offered much advantage. The crew arrived on time, did neat and efficient work, and cleaned up well afterwards. I was very surprised at how little mess ended up in the attic, especially since they had to cut the ridge vent and replace some wood around the chimney. Oh, also the flashing they put around the chimney looks absolutely wonderful. We felt very good about our experience with this company, and were even more pleased to be able to support a local, family-owned business.

They were on time for all appointments. The warrantee and terms were clear and fair. They did not disrupt the neighbors. They did a great job cleaning up all the roofing debris and materials. They did not even disturb the flower beds. They did all this while I was at work. If I hadn't known that they were coming, I would almost have been unaware that they had been working on my house all day. We have since had torrential rain several times and there have been absolutely NO leaks. I sleep peacefully, and dry, at night even during the worst storms.

It went fine as far I know. I don't know if they got rid of all the leaks, but I guess I'll find that out shortly. I don't know how effective the service was yet. They were reliable and they did what they said they were going to do. The guy that came by was very courteous.

Smooth as glass. Terry Greenberg, the owner, came out to give me an estimate. The price including the solar tubes was less than the quote I got from a Bethesda company that must be used to all the rich people in Bethesda! I was shocked at that quote, but more than that, that company gave me some bad advice. Terry's quote was reasonable. Terry was a no pressure salesperson- didn't try to upsell to higher-priced products or sell me services I didn't need. He was patient in answering my many questions. He was also more than accommodating when we had to cancel one of the solar tubes at the last minute. After endless rain delays, the work was done last week. The men were professional and did a great job. My roof looks great and the solar tubes are fantastic.

All repairs were covered by the package and required no additional costs! They were prompt and professional.

They were very good. I was happy with price but it took some doing to get them out to my home since I was out of their regular service area for smaller jobs. I liked that he took pictures showing the condition of my roof and he communicated to me exactly what he did.

I wanted to wait until after our first heavy rain storm to write a review, so, with confidence, here's the review: Introduction The house needed a new roof after a leaky skylight had compromised the integrity of the roof. With all of the heavy rains recently, we did not want to take any chances. In addition, with the prospect of moving out in a few years, we wanted to have a value proposition for would-be buyers. A new roof is one of those things. Also, before we painted the interior of the home, we needed to get the roof done. Fortuitously, another company -- HomeFix -- came by to give us an estimate. Initial estimate: $12,000! For a townhome, no less. After about 30 seconds of negotiating (not very hard mind you), the price went down to $8,000. But, if we let them make our home a "model home," they'd drop the price down to $6,000! The Evaluation Thankfully, they let me do my research, which led me to Central Roofing. I wanted to compare the two companies to see if they'd match up -- apples to oranges. Central had a roof done, literally down the street from us. We were able to walk over and take a look at that roof. Being a guinea pig for a roofing company shouldn't inspire confidence in a customer. Here's the big difference: CR - $3,400; HF - $6,000+ (need to be a model home with signage out front, etc.) So, how's it look? FABULOUS. Our roof is the best looking roof on the block. I told HomeFix that if the research panned out to be apples to apples, the differentiator would be SERVICE. Even though the pricing was CLEARLY disparate, overall, it was the SERVICE that set Central apart. YOUR ROOF IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE SERVICE! Mitch and company were ABSOLUTELY STELLAR! From the initial call to do the estimate to the follow-up call, Mitch (in particular, but the rest of the staff as well) were very informative, prompt and courteous. Unlike some of the other negative reviews in here, if you want respect, you have to give respect. Mitch was clearly more knowledgeable than the guys at HomeFix. I never had to talk to someone at Central through a middle-man. Mitch was always the POC and he made sure that everything was well communicated. Because Central is local, there's no worry that I have to call Corporate somewhere in another state to have a warranty issue resolved. Not only was the price right, the initial service was top-notch. I have recommended Mitch and Central to several friends who need roofs done. Recommendation I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Central Roofing, not just on price point, but on customer service and quality of work.
