All Pro Chimney Service and Home Improvements

I have had All Pro come out to my house to help with multiple projects and each time my experience has been wonderful and this time was no different. They go above and beyond normal customer service and they make sure that you are completely satisfied. I recently had gas logs installed in my home. I had gone back and forth with Dennis on what size logs I should get and even after I had him order the smaller size, he was more than willing to cancel that order and get the larger size after I changed my mind. After I had the logs installed by a different company (the company I have work on all my gas lines), I realized that the logs that were sent by the manufacturer were the wrong size (the smaller size). I had already been using my gas logs for about a week before I realized the box said the wrong size, so I wasn't sure if they could be returned. I reach out to Dennis and he quickly corrected the situation making sure the correct size was sent back out and even coming back out to my house to install them himself. I have never had a mix-up corrected so quickly and effortlessly on my part. I truly value their work and customer service and will definitely be recommending them to friends and family.

The problem as presented to the estimator was properly diagnosed, a repair strategy discussed with me and a fair price estimated. The responding technicians arrived when they said they would. They set up scaffolding, used proper safety measures, kept the area clean and did not damage plants or property. The work agreed upon was done as explained to me, the technician explained what he found in the tear down and the rebuild was smooth and complete. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

They did a good job. The problem is that I don't know what it was before so I have to rely on what they said. They were courteous and told us some issues we had with the chimney. We actually had them back to fix the chimney. The workers were nice and seemed to know what they were doing.

They negotiated the price alright. They had to come back and they did that. I guess you could say they stood behind what they did. They were punctual and were good at professionalism. My son took care of them. We turned it over to them and he dealt with it. Whatever the problem was they took care of it.

The work was excellent, the vent neatly and efficiently installed. Juan and his helper arrived on time, prepared the entry-way with dropcloths, Juan explained what they were going to do, and after they completed installation cleaned up the worksite, removing all debris. Both Juan on the site and Dennis at the corporate office were easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. They went out of their way to ensure that I was pleased with the job. I would definitely hire them again.

They were courteous, punctual, competent. Great job!

The final product looks very nice. However, we had to have them order the appropriate wood mantel and stone hearth. The crew was cordial and professional.

Very good company, nice workmanship. The company was very responsive in both answering questions and setting up both an estimate and scheduling service. The workers did a great job on both chimneys and were professional and courteous. The second day of the scheduled work the workers were a bit late and I had to call to figure out what happened, but it all got worked out and they finished in time. I did not shop around for other prices from other companies, so I cannot weigh in on whether their prices were good (they seemed reasonable). Will definitely use this company again. Ask for Dennis, he was very helpful and responsive.

Repairs done properly, on-time and still look great today. Absolutely no mess or damage to roofing around work area. They were very careful to protect and cover everything during the process.

Overall, this company did a great job. They were very professional, knew what they were doing, and cleaned up completely. We did have to delay their work since the install date was the date that the blizzard started and we were not sure how that would work out. They were flexible with us and rescheduled to another date. The work was completed quickly and to our satisfaction.

fireplace repair required several attempts to replace several parts. was required to turn fireplace off. all pro was investigating leak. did not return with any information.

It went as planned. very good and professional crew. No issues with the installation. Dennis explained everything ahead of time. They came at the time they said they would. Two day job. They did a little extra chimney work.

Work went fine, just too a few hours

I originally called to have my furnace flue cleaned. Upon inspection it was found that the old terra cotta lining had collapsed in on itself. The hot water heater exhaust pipe was also not to code. They ended up removing the old terra cotta lining and re-lining the flue with steel. They also replaced the hot water heater exhaust pipe and re-routed the furnace and hot water heater exhaust. They scheduled the job for the very next day. I am very pleased with their professionalism and work done.

I called the company because my parents had used them in the past. The water heater burst and water was flooding the basement. They came out in a hour for a service call. They explained the problem, quoted a price and said they could fix it the same day. I agreed with the quote. A new water heater and vents were installed in the utility room to allow the boiler/water heater to breath.

I met with 5-6 chimney/ fireplace companies, and all the estimates were approximately the same. However, Dennis from All Pro stood out as the most knowledgeable. He was professional and responsive, and he took the time to answer all of our questions. I would highly recommend All Pro and will use them again in the future.

They didn't hook the pipes back up. Their price stood out. They called me back, and he was responsive. They came out and said they didn't need to stick a camera down the chimney. They said they could tell that there wasn't a stainless steel liner because of the way the connections were. They didn't tighten the pipes, when the guy came to connect the hot water heater, the pipes fell off. I called them and told then that there was a problem, and things weren't venting out properly, and they came out immediately, and checked it. The owner came out and explained everything to me.

I told them that I would not be able to be there (other members of the household were there) and that they would need to contact me later. After coming out they never called, not even to answer the key question of whether the fireplace could safely be used pending repairs. Also did not return repeated phone calls.

They showed up on time to do the estimate Friday and told me I would have the estimate later that day. I called and left numerous messages and was not able to get in touch with someone until the following Wed., May 13th (5 days later). They put the estimate together then and emailed it. They knew my sense of urgency because I was trying to purchase the home and needed the estimate for the seller to fix the chimney's since it was over $8k. They don't answer their phones and never followed up to do the work. Very unprofessional.

We purchased an inspection deal from Angie's List, and were shocked to learn that the chimney was essentially unlined, with interior mortar deteriorating, and that there were holes behind the mantelpiece that could transmit heat and smoke into our living room. Inspection and recommendations were made by Dennis Amor, who was extraordinarily responsive and professional throughout. His team came back a week later to make all repairs. Even with the Angie's List deal, the costs were a bit steeper than we had imagined -- but we were thoroughly pleased with all the work done.

The company arrived on time for the appointment and completed a thorough inspection of the chimneys. The company provided a reasonable estimate within 2 days, however, we decided to use another company that offered a lower price.

We were looking for a routine check for our gas fireplace and chimney (it hadn't been done since we moved in 3+ years ago), and an Angie's List coupon provided the impetus to try All-Pro Chimney Service. We were shocked to learn that the chimney had no liner, the brick mortar inside was quite deteriorated, and there were gaps in the chimney behind the mantel. The company inpector took photos and verified this, and we decided to go ahead with the project. The work was done one week later, and the crew turned in an exceptional job, including rebuilding the very top of the chimney, and keeping our living room clean. The company inspector returned a week later to turn the gas flue back on and fix the remote starter. A great job start to finish.

Avoid this company if you can. Except for EXPLEMPLARY service from Angela ( the administrative assistant), it was a nightmare dealing with All Pro. It could take up a lot of space, but suffice it to say, they did not perform the services they had quoted us for. It was not until we climbed on the roof ourselves and took extensive pictures showing unfinished work, cracks, etc and withholding final payment that the owner came out and repaired what we insisted he repair. Bottom line: New crew that did mediocre work at best, a boss that actually stated on the phone, "Hey, I can't be accountable for the service my guys do." (???? Can you believe he said this???) Cannot in any way shape or form recommend them. We can only hope the fireplace insert functions properly as it is still too early in the season!

They did go up to good analysis of the area, they took pictures of the condition of the chimney. I think I contacted them back in February, but I just got the work done recently. They were very responsive. There's one thing that I though they would do was they would give me pictures before and after for me to compare, they did not do that. I hope they did a good job.
