The end product hardwood floor was extremely professional looking and complete, and they had excellent follow up. When I noticed some mysterious spots in one place a few months later they came right and eliminated them in 15 minutes which I appreciated greatly. I had the same 2 workers for both my dining room and 4 months later for my living room, which gave me a good deal of comfort.
The only part I did not like as much was their charge to move furniture - I moved 90% of it myself out of the room, but there was 1 sofa left over and a piano - both of which they wanted to charge me $100 each for to move. That seemed excessive.
"It is our goal to make sure the job is done perfect and to make sure our clients are satisfied with our service. To get the best result in re-sand and refinishing hardwood floors, it is best to re-sand and refinish floor and remove the shoe-molding/quarter rounds around the walls and install new moldings stained to match the new floor. The reason is that over time floor change color and so do the trims around the walls. If you refinish the floor and leave the existing trims or re-install the old ones in order to save money for the client, the stain on the moldings will not match the floor. This creates a difference in color or shade and experience has shown an unhappy client. Therefore, we always recommend the moldings to be replaced. This cost has been disclosed in the coupon to all members at the time of purchase."
My only complaint is that the sanding job was not 100% level (not really sure if it could be when done by hand).
So looking at the floor it appears to have dips in it.
"Thank you very much for the feedback. Our goal is to provide best service for our clients. We are happy that you are satisfied with the work we have done and our installers. We are saddened with the fact that there was initial misunderstanding on the cost. We would like to take this opportunity and explain that originally you were requesting an oil finish process that was not included in the coupon. The refinishing process you were asking us to do involved two people to work three days to complete the job. The process we were offering in the coupon was only one day. Fortunately when we spoke to your contractor he understood the difference and agreed we complete the work based on the coupon. This reduced the total cost to $380.00."
