The service representative was very informative and knew the warranties for the different types of materials, but I think the reason we decided not to go with them was that they were a little above our budget. They were a little late, but we might look at them for a future flooring project that's on a smaller scale.

They did their work very professionally. I asked for additional work that they accommodated. The deal worked out very well and I was a happy customer.

This was just one more outstanding experience with Alladin Carpet & Floors. This was a fairly small job that took approximately 8 hours was the Alladdin employee to complete. We've been a client of Alladin Carpet & Floors for many years. They have installed new carpet, laminate and ceramic flooring in our home. It's always a positive buying experience and they always exceed our expectations. They are very customer driven and responsive to any post-installation concerns (which I must say are few and far between)! When we're in the market for new carpet or flooring, we may shop around to see what other carpet and flooring retailers have to offer. But we always come back to Alladin, where we know we'll always receive a fair price and outstanding service,.

DO - recommend them, definitely yes!! I am very happy with the work that was performed at my house. I got one coupon for $599 to be used for the powder room but decided to use their services for the second ½ bath in the basement. I negotiated with Alan Nain, the project designer who is super nice, efficient, patient and always ready to answer my questions. The price is excellent and he explained everything to me in a very satisfying manner, all in all everything went very well. Alan is to be commended for a gold star!!!! Despite having to spend more money, the final product is very satisying and is worth every penny I spent. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends and others who are interested in using them.

I bought a coupon offer for the Bona hardwood refinish deal for $279 for 200 sq ft. Salesman showed up on time wrote up estimate but some extras required (sanding thresholds) increased price. I think coupon should note what typical extras could be. However, I felt total price was fair because it included some minor repairs. Salesman was polite and professional and offered suggestions to keep cost down. Work crew showed up as scheduled and worked diligently and completed all the work in one day. They did a pretty good job of keeping the dust contained and cleaning up afterwards.

From start to finish, Freddy and his assistant was on a mission. They worked all day into the late night to complete the job. Well done.

They were very skilled craftsman. The floors looked great.

The estimator was very professional and thoroughly explained how they would do the work and how much it would cost. Once I had the price I decided to do only a bedroom floor to see if I liked their work before spending more money with them.When the worker came he moved the furniture and removed the carpet as agreed upon. We picked the color for the stain. He had the job completed in one day with the furniture put back. The floor is absolutely beautiful. I am going to have them do the rest of the house this spring as soon as I see whether we go over the financial cliff. I will buy another Angie's coupon for that job.

After I purchased the service, I called and made an appointment with Ode, (As always when purchasing products on Ankhs list they some how only pay attention to the address for on your credit card and not the address given for the service to be performed). Eddie had gone to the address on my credit card and when he realize it, he quickly made his way to the service address and performed a detail estimate of cost. I was not ready to purchase at the appointment but he called or emailed me to keep in touch. He even matched a competitors price. We sat the appointment to have the services perform however realize that it wold not really benefit me and instead on taking my money help me to seek an refund from Ankhs List.

They did a great job. It was a simple project.

Aladdin came out through our insurance company and gave us an estimate to replace the carpet that covered our entire basement due to a flood. They were on time and professional. We then went to their showroom to pick out carpeting but changed our mind and bought wood laminate that the salesman brought out as a special offer. It was beautiful and we got a huge discount since it was left over from a previous client's project. They came and installed it when requested and even stayed during Hurricane Sandy to finish the job. It is beautiful and just what we wanted. Their work crew was quiet, quick and thorough. The place was spotless when they left. I highly recommend Aladdin Carpet and Tile to anyone!

As I noted above, it didn't "go" and I don't recommend this company.

The workers were prompt and efficient. They were careful with the furniture and replaced it where they found it. The sanding produced very little dust. I was pleased with the result.

They did a terrific job. No dust was spread anywhere in the house. Technicians were professional. These guys are really good.

The experience was very good. The contract process and making sure we had all the detailed defined in the contract took a bit longer than I thought. I used 3 big deals that helped lower the cost to a price point we were happy with. It saved us 50% for the first 300 sq feet. We only refinished about half the house as we didn't have a place to put the remaining furniture. The color of the new wood is not exactly the same as the old but really close. When we refinish the remainder it should all match.

very professional, very timely - did exactly what they said they would do

Great punctuality and service. After another company did not show up to give us an estimate or show us carpet samples, Aladdin Carpet sent a representative to us the next day, and he was on time. The installers were very professional and experienced and did a great job. Unfortunately, two interior doors could not be rehung after the carpet was installed (not the carpet company's fault, of course), and they could not really help me on any leads for a carpenter to come in and shorten the doors. I subsequently found a great carpenter (Ferney Leal - see my review on Angie's List) who was available to complete this final task.

I purchased the Big Deal to have 250 sq ft of hardwood flooring refinished. When the representive came out, he explained that he would not be able to blend in the refinishing with the rest of the flooring and that to do the job at all would cost me approximately $2500.00. When I explained to him that he advertised seamless refinishing from one room to the next, he rudely stated he could not help me and to ask for a refund. I got the impression he sells a "big deal", then expressly comes with the purpose of selling a more costly job.

Bought the Big Deal and they came to do the estimate. I added a few extra square feet, and with their add-ons it tripled the initial promised cost of the deal. There was no mention of cost of removal of furniture, that the shoe moulding had to be destroyed and replaced with new. I decided to cancel my deal because I was not prepare to spend an additional $550 to the already paid deal of $249 that boasted the total cost of refinishing hardwood floors.

They finished sooner than we thought they would. We had A LOT of furniture to be moved around, etc...and we had prepared as best we could. We were both there to help move as needed because we figured it would help things go quicker. They did a great job.

Overall it was a little stressful but rewarding in the end. This was a coupon deal through Angie's List that was a deeply discounted rate for up to 250 sq feet, and this was just over that. The agent came out the very next day and was great. He walked through the job and clearly knew what he was doing. He was a great guy and quite frankly I think I knew I was going with them as soon as I met him. We just had to work out the details. The first estimate he gave me was crazy high--three steps were actually going to cost me more than the whole bedroom. He explained that the this was because it would all be hand done. I said no to the job at that point, but he revised the estimate to get to a price I could do, so we agreed and went forward. some issues: *One of the rooms was a little off color, so it was a challenge to get the stain exactly right for all of the attaching rooms. So we agreed on an approach that would include putting a border in there so that it would not be as noticeable and I thought that was an excellent solution and would have been perfect. But he did not do it. I think he raised it with his scheduler who said they could not do it and that it was not in the estimate. I knew that and assumed they would tell me the additional cost, but that never happened. I just think they did not have time, so did not ask. *Also on the edging, we said we would take it off and forgot, so I asked if they would do it, but they did not. Again, I thought I indicated I would pay for it but might not have been clear enough. They had another job to get to. *The machine sander they used on the very old landing seemed a little harsh on the wood and there is some buckle. But you have to look pretty hard. * The biggest issue for me was scheduling. They double booked their work team, so when they did not finish the first day they said they could not come back first thing because of another scheduled job. I had work obligations and could not get away early. I left a message with the scheduler that i could not get there at five, but they did not get it. So they were waiting in front of my house for over an hour. They were not happy with me, but I was happy either so we were kind of even. Some high satisfaction: * All of the above issues could have been resolved if, I am sure, I had scheduled this more in advance and was not trying to hold down costs. So I don't want to over-emphasize that. DON'T try to fit this in between "this and that". this is a professional job and it takes time. * The workmanship of the refinish and polish was exceptional. the floors gleamed. they truly seemed like new floors. *The stain on the landing was also excellent work. it was very rich and pleasing. it respected the age of the wood (the buckle is only noticeable to someone that inspects it closely). * There is no question in my mind that a job they do from start to finish with all the bells and whistles is going to be the best floor refinish you can get. They also use Bono finish with is better for the wood and for the environment. some do's: * DO be very clear to the sales agent about instructions on what you want to have done. negotiating with the work team is a challenge. This was my first time doing this so I really did not know what to ask or consider. * DO work out the schedule well in advance because they are very busy and seem to be double-booked so schedule flexibility is just not possible. * Do make sure to agree to take the edging off because the sander just can get all the way up to it without breaking it so there will be some spots that are left undone. But again that is only if you look really hard.
