+ 0 moreJob went perfectly. Less dust than expected as they put up plastic sheeting to wall off from other rooms. Floors look brand new. Definitely recommend their services. Arrived on time, performed work and cleaned up after completing work. We were able to walk on the floor in our stocking feet 2 hours after the work was done. What a difference. We did not leave the house even as we camped out upstairs for the day with a picnic cooler and relaxed reading and doing other things, while the work was done on our wood floors downstairs.

We wanted to have the floors done anyway so we didn't mind the price difference. Floors looked great and the guys who did the refinishing were prompt, hard working and professional.

+ -1 moreThey were very nice and very good. I think the prices that they had was pretty much the same cause I took what they gave me and I was able to get from other people. I give them "A" for what they said they would do and they did it for that price so that was good. They were knowledgeable.
Description of Work: Aladdin Carpet & Floors came out to my house, they listened to me and my concerns about doing kitchen remodel and they came up with the design. The only thing I did not get from them was the floor plan, I think they may have it if I ask for it. But the next time I went to their business site and that's when they had drawn up floor plans that I could look at, they were digitalized on a computer. They showed me what products they have that they could use.

+ 0 moreI purchased a Aladdin's Big Deal offered on Angie's list. There was an additional charge because the room size exceeded the maximum square footage covered in the Big Deal. I was surprised, because it is a small room, but I take responsibility for not reading the fine print. I was offered no choice of pad and a choice of three shades of off-white Berber carpet. Everyone I dealt with (scheduling over the phone, the person who came out and measured, the two men who installed the pad and carpet) was very professional and responsive. I think the Big Deal was a good value for someone in my position - this was a spare room with plank flooring and anything would have been an improvement. I was happy to get the deal, even though options were limited.

+ 0 moreThey came as scheduled, were very polite, moved heavy furniture. They sanded and stained on day 1 and on day 2 put down 2 coats of polyurethane. They came back 2 days later (my request) to put back heavy furniture. Each time they came when they said they would and were very courteous. My floor looks very good.

+ 0 moreI needed some wooden stairs carpeted for my senior dogs. Majid assured me that the job was not too small for their attention. He helped me pick the carpet that would work best for the dogs ~ thick enough for traction, not too dense to be slippery. Majid came to my home to measure, brought samples for colors and brought a sample of the carpet padding he recommended. The padding will protect the wood floors from any pet incontinence. He also pointed out to me that the upper stairs were not as wide as the lower stairs separated by the landing. This meant that using a carpet runner would require different widths. On installation day Sergio and Oscar called 40 minutes before the scheduled arrival time. They brought two bindings to choose from and were very professional in the work. Sergio did cutting and binding outside so there was no mess inside at all. Oscar laid the padding and both worked on the carpet installation. The measurements were perfect, leaving just the right amount of wood visible on either side of the carpet on the stairs and landing. They left a perfectly cut, large square of carpet for me to keep on the ceramic tile at the base of the stairs so the dogs won't slip there as well. I love the finished result and my German Shepherds are able to use the stairs easily and safely now. Aladdin provides other services in addition to carpeting and I will definitely use them for all my other projects. Highly recommended!

They were not properly prepared to do so but worked really hard to get the job done properly. There were a few minor scuffs on the floor and they came back without hesitation and fixed everything to our satisfaction. We highly recommend this company.

+ 0 moreThe quality of the work was average at best. Within 6 months some of the floor had started to bubble up and now a year later there are spots where the finish has worn away. They were in and out in a couple days which was very impressive. They were easy to deal with. I bought 2 deals from Angies List based on the square footage of the deal. I measured myself and thought I was about 50 square feet short but somehow their math ended up with me needing another 150 square feet of billable floor. There were a lot of other nickel and dime charges that added up. I thought I was covered by the deals but ended up paying twice that out of pocket. I guess I should have read the deal closer but I made some assumptions.

We've had a few cracks but they've been over to replace them as needed. I was happy that they responded to my concerns. The installation staff is punctual, polite, helpful and cleaned up after the work. Aladdin also installed beautiful carpet in our basement and office. They did a nice job.
