ABC Garage Door Repair

Everything went great. The guy who came out and accessed the damage was great! They called in advanced, showed up on time, and he even got the door working before we signed contract to replace the panel. He was all about customer service, and ABC should consider him a gem. The service tech who replaced the panel was also great. He also called before arriving, came promptly during scheduled time, and fixed the panel in a Jiffy. Overall, ABC did a fantastic job. I thought we paid a bit more than I expected, but it's probably because the limited service dealers for our particular type of garage door...(one panel in a 4 panel door cost about 1/2 the price of a whole new similar looking garage door from Home Depot) Lastly, only one criticism: The rubber seal that surrounds the frame of the door on the garage had been torn after the accident, and the repair tech didn't address the torn seal. The repair tech who replaced the panel suggested that I go to Home Depot and replace the seal myself. Didn't seem like a holistic approach to garage door repair...just focused on the new panel. With that said, would definitely use them again.

It was a little more expensive than we had anticipated it would be. They came out right away as planned and they did a good job. My husband was here and he took care of the bill.

We've used them on garage door openers that had some power issues, and they have resolved the issues within 1-2 days each time.

He arrived at the agreed upon time and did a quick and thorough job. Providing the needed maintnance on one door and replacing the opener on the other after determining the drive shaft was bent. We are very pleased with the service.

Shawn was dispatched in the morning and called early top inform that he was on the way. This was just 2 hours after I called to set up service call. So we were so impressed with the immediate response. Shawen was extremely courteous and informed us that the cables were shot on our 10+ year old garage door opener. He replace with a new Lift master and everything that goes with it. The price was resonable and expected.

My garage door was broken, the hinge was. It was not clasping to the garage so it needed a new spring. He repaired all of that. They were very timely and came quickly after the purchase. They repaired everything within an hour.

Doors were not opening properly. Technician checked sensors, limits, force, counterbalance, rollers and housings, and overall operation. Said if problems continue need to replace opener. Week later doors still working properly.

They were excellent. They arrived on scheduled, replaced all of the garage door rollers, and tuned up the door. Before the door was very noisy and afterwards it was so much quieter. As a follow up I had a broken spring on the garage door a year later and I called them back (right before Christmas). They came out, replaced the spring and gave me a discount for being an Angie's list customer.

The work was done professionally. I am very satisfied with the results I got and with the whole experience. Shawn and Mike showed up on time as scheduled, very friendly, knowledgeable, and examined the problems carefully and fixed them thoroughly. They checked the whole system, including door opener after fixing the cable and tightening the drum, and made it work very smoothly. I give A+ for their excellent service.

I purchased a deal from Angie's List to have a serviceman come out to look at a garage door that wouldn't close. He was available on New Year's Day, showed up on time, and helped me fix the sensors. He was professional and courteous, and I would definitely use his services again.

The company was very professional. Answered my questions by email very promptly. The Tech said that the remote probably required a new battery because the trouble was intermittent and it worked when he tried it. He was very honest and did not try to sell something I didn't need. I will definitely use this com in the future.

Dan was very professional and courteous. He took the time to explain to me the various elements of what he saw for repairing my garage doors. I asked about a tuneup and he said it wasn't necessary, after he examined the various springs and bolts, etc., and pointed out how they had been replaced in the not too distant past. I had forgotten about that. The weather stripping was eaten away, so he will install new weather stripped. He also examined the doors and pointed out where the rot had begun. The opener mechanism also is very old. So we discussed prices for doors and openers. There was no hard sell at all. In fact, he helped me figure out a plan of how to replace perhaps openers first, then the doors. He quoted prices that seemed very reasonable. He was very personable and I have requested for him to be the one to come back and do the repairs.

I had purchased the $39.00 garage opener inspection whuch included minor adjustments. Shawn diagnosed the problem quickly and because the circuit board could not be repared he agreed to match current Angies list special to replace with Liftmaster 8355. Works great. Shawn was pleasant and professional.

Excellent experience. They showed up on time, explained everything about my system, and even though I have an older garage door opener, they did not try to sell me something I didn't need. The person was knowledgeable, friendly, and showed me where to watch for maintenance going forward. If something does go wrong with my door in the future, I will absolutely call them again. A+.

Called ABC Garage. They were easy to get a hold of & prompt on setting up a time to perform quote. The service Tech Jason came out to the house on time (even called before hand to confirm the appointment). He was honest, straightforward. I have an older garage door and opener and neither were working well. He reviewed a couple of different options with me and I decided to go with one of his recommendations (repairing the door and getting a new garage door opener). He did the job that day (evening) on the spot. He even worked late to get the job done. Overall I was very impressed. I would use this service provider again. The prices were resonable and Jason was patient and explained how everything worked so I felt comfortable knowing how to use the new door opener and how to program it also. He went above and beyond. My garage door and opener now work great!! This kind of service is hard to come by.

The garage door works smoothly now. Scheduling the appointment went smoothly and they were on-time for the appointment . I would recommend their services to others.

Well, Shawn came out to repair the door. He didn't check it when he left and when I closed it that night, it didn't close all the way. I called the next day and he tired to help me for 40 minutes over the phone so that I could fit it. He was very nice and really tried his best, but it still wasn't flush with the ground. A few days later Ben came out and he actually did fix it, however where he had been working on the opener, he left the casing around the light off...never screwed it back on. So now my husband has to get up in the ladder and do it himself. I feel like the guys were always in a rush and that's why the first time Shawn didn't try the door and that's why the second time with Ben he left the cover off.

Great! One of our garage doors had been out of commission all summer (due to a broken spring) and we just hadn't had the time to deal with it (was a door that we didn't need to open on a daily basis). One day I finally had a moment to start making some calls. First I called Overhead Door, our usual company (and the company that recently installed our garage door openers) and they were going to charge me a ridiculous amount just to come out and give me an estimate. I was not happy about it so I started searching Angies' list and found ABC Garage Repair. I called them up and to my surprise they had an evening appt available that day and did not charge for estimates. Their technician came out, arrived on time, described what we needed, gave us what we thought was a reasonable estimate and was actually able to do the work right then and there. Excellent company and excellent service. We will call on them again!

Jason gave outstanding professional service, answered all questions, reviewed all procedures, very precise in his workmanship and I would use the service again. The door itself was ordered correctly, windows were exactly as stated and the entire job went smoothly without any unexpected surprises. Afterward, he explained all warranties, how the remotes worked, safety features of the garage door and it was truly a pleasure dealing with a company that knew exactly how to install the door.

Shawn and Dan did a great job. They arrived later than scheduled due to issues beyond their control. Jesse in the corporate office kept us informed on their expected arrival. The new garage door openers operate like a dream. We're very happy with the service they provided.
