Description of Work: Awoke on Labor Day to find we had no water. We'd used Bruce Solomon many years ago for an emergency on Christmas and they responded when no one else answered their phones. In any event, it turned out our well pump failed and needed replacement. The crew was neat thorough, efficient, and answered all of our questions. You always wonder about pricing, but have used this company for years, and needed water! Reliable, prompt, highly recommended.

Description of Work: Under sink dishwasher leak

Description of Work: Replaced pipe from kitchen sink to basement floor. It had rusted at the base where it met the basement floor. The plumber suggested rerouting the pipe in the kitchen so that it would not be behind the kitchen cabinet and exposed to the outside wall. I approved. Now the pipe comes up through the middle of the cabinet and is not as exposed to cold weather. | The experience went extremely well, as it always does with this company. They were prompt, courteous and professional. The plumber suggested steps I could take after the replacement of the pipe (replacing the floor tiles and having mold removed from basement wall). The pipe was behind paneling in the basement. | They always clean up after their have finished working. | Later in December, they came to do the annual heating system checkup. Everything was good. They didn't even have to change the filter, because I had done so recently. | In all the years I have relied on this company for my plumbing, heating, and air conditioning needs, I never felt that they performed work that wasn't necessary. In fact, they will let me know of future work that could be done, but isn't necessary at the time that they suggest it. I have never felt pressured to have any work done that did not need to be done. | I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: recharge my AC system

Description of Work: We needed calcite for our water treatment system. Refilled with 2 bags. Neat. Thought it was a little pricey even with the discount.

Description of Work: We have used Bruce Solomon for many years and overall, his company has done a good job. But, the quality, or lack thereof, of some of the products he installed turned out to a major hassle. Our heat pump was a lemon from the get go. He was honorable in servicing it but it never should have been installed in the 1st place. There were a few other items installed such as toilets and seats that also turned out to be below par. Staff was always pleasant and professional but I know now you get what you pay for.

Description of Work: Find leak under kitchen sink and replace garbage disposal.
