We have very high standards and Glorem absolutely met them. Eugene is honest, fair, hard-working, and truly cares about quality & customer satisfaction. He is extremely customer-friendly, patient and accommodating when we had special requests or unexpected issues come up. Every large project will have wrinkles here and there, and he handled them with extreme professionalism and kindness. We are thrilled with the end product.

I cannot recommend Glorem highly enough. After what was a catastrophic flood in our basement, and a host of contractors offering to provide us with very little in return for a whole lot of money- Glorem was a blessing. Eugene understood the difficult and quite protracted problems we were dealing with. Before the rebuild could begin we had to finish tearing down what was left, and then go through the process of asbestos mitigation and the disruptive installation of a French drain system to prevent another flood from happening. Eugene understood the steps and the time it would take to complete them. He was completely fair in his pricing, and never blinked at the hurdles imposed by our overreaching mortgage company. His team was professional, personable, and thorough. They talked us through everything that was going to happen. They also clearly spelled out the time frame, the payment schedule, and then worked with us when unexpected course corrections happened. The end result was phenomenal- beyond what we could have envisioned on the day of the flood. Eugene and Glorem restored our faith in good people doing honest, quality work. Pride of workmanship is the hallmark of this team. I would not hesitate to hire them again if I needed work done on my home.

Background: We hired Glorem to FULLY re-model our basement. To provide some background, our house was built in 1961 and (prior to the re-model) it does not appear that the basement had ever been updated. When we initially met with Eugene (to receive the job estimate), my wife and I were both very impressed with his sense of self-confidence. He did not appear remotely concerned with the potential scope of work even though the job required both a significant amount of demolition and planning. I contrast this with a few other contractors we met with who seemed to be overwhelmed with the project scope. Furthermore, as a "type A" individual, I appreciated the fact that Eugene was quickly able to provide us a very detailed job quote that was both reasonable and clear. I believe this helped to prevent any confusion as we got further into the work. Work Scope: As mentioned above, Glorem completely demo'd our existing basement (down to the studs) and installed an office, rec area, gym, bedroom and full bath. They really did a fantastic job throughout and we are extremely pleased with the results. Both Eugene and Tim (PM) were great to work with and constantly displayed their desire to do a great job and to keep us happy. There were a number of times where we requested either modifications or change orders and it was never an issue. Further, the subs they brought in (i.e. electric and tile) were also very nice to deal with and I never felt uncomfortable having them in my basement. Overall, we are extremely pleased with how the project turned out. Conclusion: In conclusion, I would not hesitate to hire Glorem again to do work in my house. Further, I have already recommended them to a number of my friends who are looking to re-do their basement. I have attached both pre and post construction pics (should be easy to identify what was "pre" and what was "post") of my basement in order to truly highlight the extent of the great job that was performed!! We hired GloRem to finish our (previously unfinished) basement. We couldn't be happier with the result. In the initial quote with Eugene, the price breakdown was very clearly shown to us, which helped us determine the cost/benefit options for us. Once the project got started, Tim (our primary contact through the work) was incredible. He always kept us informed of the schedule and if there were any problems. They did a top notch job anticipating questions or thoughts that we had and really made sure that everything was done perfectly. All of the subs they used were also incredible - everyone that entered our house was very professional and worked with us to make sure everything was done exactly as we wanted.

This company is very professional and the quality of work is outstanding. We had a large unfinished basement transformed into a truly wonderful living area to include a full bathroom, wet bar, bedroom, and exercise room. After discovering a few leaks in our outdated bathroom, it became clear that a full remodel would be the best choice. A friend referred GloRem and gave a glowing review of the whole team and experience. Once we received the quote, we decided to hire GloRem based on reviews, recommendations and price. From the beginning of the quote process to completion of the project, GloRem turned out to be a fabulous contractor to work with! Every single employee that worked on our bathroom was a professional and produced immaculate work. The workers started work when they said they were going to and worked long hours every day until the project was completed. The team was respectful of the entire home also; they cleaned up after every day and tried to keep noises low when my toddler took a nap every afternoon. The end product was beautiful and pristine! I would recommend GloRem (and already have) to anyone who is looking for a reasonable quote and a Grade A contractor. GloRem far exceeded our expectations!

After three leaks over the course of 6 months, our handyman gave us the hard reality that we would need to do a bathroom renovation. After interviewing a handful of contractors and companies, a friend of mine mentioned the great work Eugene and his team did for her and other referrals. We found our experience to the be same – Eugene and his team were meticulous, punctual and did a great job of communicating and managing our expectations. The showed up at our house every single weekday for nearly a month before we would leave for work and would often be there past dinnertime, as finishing in a timely manner is clearly a priority for Eugene and his team. From start to finish, everything went smoothly and the project was completed sooner than expected; we now have a beautiful, very functional basement. The overall experience we had in dealing with this company was exceptional. We knew right from the start they were professional and that we were going to end up with a great space. The communication was clear from day one and they knew exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it to look along with the suggestions that they made for us. The company gave us a start time and a finish date and they delivered on time. There was no disruption to our daily functions in the other part of the house; however, when it came to doing the plumbing, they were sure to give a heads up in regards to losing water pressure. Every step of the way, the lead on the project, Eugene, told us step by step, what was happening at each phase. The communication was always open and whenever we had a question, Eugene would answer it right away. To watch the transformation and see the final completion of the basement was absolutely Amazing. I would recommend this company for anyone looking for a great product with no hassle.

I was thoroughly impressed with Eugene when he came out to look at our unfinished space. It is a very large area, but there are some complications regarding the shape as well as several poles that needed to be worked around. Eugene was very knowledgeable and asked a lot of questions to help narrow down my general ideas and thoughts into a workable plan. He was responsive when I asked questions both on-site and via e-mail later as well. The costs were detailed very thoroughly, breaking down each small aspect of the job to show where the overall cost came from, as well as easily letting us see how that would change if we decided to do different options. I highly recommend at least looking into GloRem if you are doing any sort of remodeling project. The only reason we did not end up using them is another contractor that we had a lot of experience with came in around the same price, and our familiarity with that contractor tipped the scales in his favor.

We had a great experience working with Eugene and his associates. The finished work is beautiful - very clean and professional workmanship and great space that our family will enjoy using. Eugene helped us plan the design of the unfinished basement and provided a line-item estimate for the work to be done. He understood well what we needed and what could be done in the space. Once work began, it proceeded along very smoothly with various sub-contractors coming in to do different components of the job. Eugene was extremely communicative and responsive throughout the process. He seems to have a great relationship with his sub-contractors, and he stayed apprised of the progress and came to visit the site on a regular basis, including doing parts of the job himself. For our job, a significant part of the labor cost and time was a fully tiled floor throughout the basement (except storage areas.) Labor for the tile was included in the estimate, but we purchased the tile materials. The tile work took a long time relative to the other aspects of the job, but the workmanship is excellent and worth the time and money involved. Overall, there was hardly a snag in the whole process. Any minor issues were easy to work through. We couldn't have asked for better service and quality. We have been using the finished space for about one month now, and we are thoroughly pleased with the outcome. I would definitely use GloRem again, and I would highly recommend it.

We decided to finish our basement which was 100% unfinished at the time. It was between 1800 and 2000 square feet to be finished. We solicited three bids from highly reviewed companies on Angie's List. GloRem had received excellent reviews and its bid ended up being substantially lower than the other two bids we received. Eugene was also prompt, professional and courteous when we met to discuss the bid. Eugene and his team completed the basement on time and on budget. Whenever we had an addition to the contract at our request we discussed the addition and the cost and agreed upon it so there were no surprises. The work was outstanding and very professional. We could not be happier. The basement included (1) a large TV room, (2) a poker room, (3) a large game room; (4) a bathroom; (5) an office; (6) a play room; and (7) a storage area. The results were amazing. The work was of the highest quality and the workmen were always professional. Eugene worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were happy and everything was not completed until we were satisfied. There were delays (I think he finished early!). I would not hesitate to recommend Eugene and GloRem for anyone who wants to finish a basement!

We are so happy with our master oasis! Eugenes team was very professional and respectful of our home. Every day before leaving was clean up, which was perfect given the tile and stone cutting and the dusty nature of this type of work. Plastic was applied to the traffic areas on our carpet anywhere they would walk, and they vacuumed and wiped them down on their way out every day! The project started with demo and gutting the space, then led to rebuilding a larger modern shower with a stone floor, with a comer seat and shower panel. The soaking tub was removed and replaced with a new one and the decking and skirt were rebuilt. A heated floor system was added then a nice tile floor was laid on upon it. Then the shower was fully tiled to the crown molding and the bath surround was matched to the shower. The tiles wer laid offset adding a contemporary flair with a classic tile style. Cabinets were reused, so they were reinstalled along with with new plumbing, and granite sink tops were added along with matching divider tops and the shower bench was also finished in a matching granite seat. High end faucets for the sink and Roman style tub finished the application perfectly. A new toilet was added to the water closet along with tall baseboard throughout, new lighting including led ceiling cans, and the room was finished with a nice wrap of coordinating paint and sharp white trim. The look is amazing and we are 100% satisfied knowing we also made an investment of a quality addition to our home. The crew showed up on time during the process which took about 4 weeks, but a week of that was a delay created by myself when I decided to replace the tub instead of reuse, and it took a week for it to arrive. There were many evenings they worked late to stay on track, and especially during the final week in order to meet the schedule promised. We gave them a key and they came and went without issues, always locking up when leaving. We felt perfectly comfortable with this, and it allowed us to not use time off of work for the process. The price given iabove ncluded all labor, demolition and removal, base building materials and the heated flooring system and the granite work. We supplied tile, all fixtures, and the tub. Total cost was approximately $18,500 all in. A great experience with expectional results. Call Eugene if you want quality for your home, you won't be sorry.

Eugene and his crew were great. My basement bathroom looks amazing - they did an especially nice job on the tile in the shower. The prices were very reasonable compared to what I've experienced with other contractors (utility sink replacement was half the price of what was quoted by another contractor). Eugene is really good about letting you buy your own materials or showing you the receipts for what he bought (he'll even use coupons that he has accumulated). Overall I'm very satisfied with the work and will definitely use GloRem for other projects in the future.

We were looking to finish our basement and didn't have any solid ideas of what kind of layout we wanted. I met with 5 different companies and got a variety of ideas and just 3 quotes. GloRem was the lowest price quote for a layout that I liked best, so was an easy decision since we'd seen such good reviews about them. Tthe final price of the project wound up being more than the quote because they were unaware that Anne Arundel county code requires an egress window for any finished space (we were not installing bedrooms). But Eugene was very gracious in reducing the cost of an egress window, since it was not in the original plan. This is the second major renovation I've done, and was a very different experience than the first. For one thing, we were given complete freedom to choose the bathroom tile, vanity, toilet, and everything else wherever we wanted. This was great, but made it very hard for us to make timely decisions. We were so late choosing the bathroom vanity that it delayed the end of the project by 4 weeks. But Eugene was always very patient with us and had no problem waiting until it came in. When we signed the contract, we were given a choice of (1) wait to start the project until they could focus on us and do it quicker or (2) start the project sooner, work when they have time, and eventually end sooner than option 1. We went with option 2, since we don't really use the basement and didn't expect much disruption. But I think maybe option 1 would've been better because we would've had a better idea of when each decision was expected. As it was, we often heard from Eugene just 3 or 4 days before they needed a decision from us (like floors or paint color). We were also surprised by the hours spent here in the evenings and weekends (my first project was all done 9-5 Mon-Fri). But they changed their plans without complaint the one time I requested that they not come on a Saturday. This was a long and time-consuming process for us, but we are absolutely thrilled with the end result. Everyone who worked on our basement was friendly, professional, and did amazing work. I can't think of anything I want different than what I have. Eugene was very easy to reach with random questions throughout the project. I have his number stored in my cell and will probably keep it there for my next project.

We told Eugene what we needed to have done due to the mold issue in our basement and he did everything we asked. Removal of drywall and replaced with green board (to prevent mold coming back again), new trim, new closet doors, new PVC flooring, small upgrade to the bathroom in the basement, new patio door install, replacement of tile with new travertine tile around the bar area. All of Eugene's crew are VERY professional and courteous and hard workers. We were so thankful to have such a good crew of people working in our home. Fair price and finished the job one week early with six projects going on at the same time!

From the onset, Evgeny relished the challenge of finishing a modern, contemporary basement. We had a contemporary style home with modern finishes, and we wanted our basement to flow with the look of our home. Our goal was to have a large open entertaining space, a large bar/entertainment/movie area, a modern exercise room, a kids play/lounge area and a full bath. Evgeny provided a reasonable estimate, but accommodated our needs for a modern finish. All of the supplies used, down to the baseboards, kept up with our modern look. He was extremely accommodating for any changes we wanted (weather it was small changes, such as door handles, or large changes, such as floor plan/layout modifications) without causing a fuss or change in delivery time or price. He wants to work with his customer, and makes sure they're happy with the end product and the process. A few specifics that Evgeny did that were exceptional, as far his attention to detail and ensuring it came out perfect: - Installed two 4-panel large floor-to-ceiling wooden pocket doors that cover 12 foot openings each. These were flat panel large natural wood doors that were then stained a natural finish. He finished them with a very contemporary looking golden brass handles. The pocket/sliding doors work well and look fabulous. - A large built-in vent free gas fireplace installation. He installed it in a contemporary fashion, as an elevated soffit, so that the fireplace is 4 ft off the floor. - A modern bathroom with a modern fixtures, glass tiles, large full trackless shower doors and modern counter-top with flush sink. - A beautiful, uniform luxury vinyl tile installation, with padding, along with nice square large baseboards keeping the modern look. - A kitchenette / bar with sharp cabinet / countertop installation, keeping consistent with clean lines and modern look. This included a modern, thick glass shelf to hold large supply of liquor bottles with lighting, that gave it a lounge-style bar look. Besides, those specifics, Evgeny's team did a phenomenal job on tile installation. I ended up having them do tiles in all of our bathrooms upstairs and backsplash in the kitchen. The attention to detail, smooth grout lines, and use of metallic edgers really provides a "wow" on all of the tiles installed. Finally, a brief comment on his and his team's character. They are young, extremely hard working (some of them working late into the evening to get the job done), and so diligent. It's clear they take pride in their work and want to ensure it turns out right. They are professional, but easy going and have a very friendly personality. Each of the workers of GloRem are talented in what they focus on (flooring, painting, tiling, etc.). My wife and I are so happy with the end product, and hope to use them for our future projects. Undoubtedly, I would recommend GloRem to do any construction work around the house, and have already have done so to many of our friends.
