He was prompt in providing a quote. When he was selected, he began immediately (the next day). He kept me appraised throughout the project. I had two concerns pop up as the work progressed. He quickly and appropriately resolved all of my concerns. The end product is beautiful.

We hired Eugene to build two new rooms and a closet in our already finished basement. We received several bids and Eugene's was amongst the most competitive. Based on his responsiveness and timeliness, we chose to hire his company. We were expecting a baby, so we were were working inside of a tight timeline. The work on the rooms started on time and finished the following week, well ahead of our due date. Each day, we would discuss what was completed, and what was planned for the new day. A few small items came up, and Eugene helped to come up with excellent solutions for these small issues. For example, when framing one of the walls, a shutoff valve for an exterior faucet was found hidden behind the sheet rock. Eugene altered the framing slightly to allow access to the valve and added a panel so that we can now get to the shutoff valve. Throughout the process communication was excellent via email, phone and text. Overall it was an excellent experience and we will most certainly hire again for future projects.

I had just about given up on getting this project done- the few bids I was able to get were not what I wanted and way too expensive. The other contractors I contacted took one look and said they were not interested. Eugene called back the same day I left a message on the Glorem website, and came out for an estimate that evening. He provided a written estimate very soon afterwards. I had no idea what to do with this space and Eugene came up with an excellent plan that was very reasonably priced. He was also able to move the start date up to meet my schedule. Everything from start to finish was outstanding. It was definitely one of the best experiences with a contractor I have ever had! Eugene was there every day; he and his associate were neat, friendly and worked extremely hard. Several other crews doing portions of the work were also very professional. Several unanticipated requests were accommodated with no problems. The job was finished in 3 weeks total, which was amazing considering the amount of demolition and new construction required. This was 10 full days before the agreed upon completion date! Eugene is not only a skilled craftsman and perfectionist, but he has an amazing ability to envision the best layout and design of a space. And he is honest-- he just called to let me know I had overpaid and he would send me a check (!). Overall, I have nothing but the highest praise for this company and plan to use them again for a kitchen remodel in the future. I highly recommend Glorem!

Overall, we are extremely pleased with the work we've had done by Glorem, LLC. In fact, I don't know if I can come up with enough superlatives to fully describe the experience. In short, they are absolutely the best! If you want a contractor who is a detail-oriented perfectionist, professional in his business approach and work ethic, prompt, responsive and at the same time easy going and great to work with, then look no further--Eugene of Glorem, is your guy! When my husbankd and I recently decided to start our basement renovation, we contacted three contractors from Angie's List. One of the three never returned to our call. Because I wanted to have at least three estimates, I went back onto Angie's List and discovered Glorem, and was impressed with the reviews I read at the time, so I gave Eugene a call. He returned my call the same day to schedule a time to come out and give us an estimate. Their estimate was about half the estimate we received from the first company and slightly lower than the second. However,beyond the price, I was impressed by Eugene's demeanor. I could tell he really LISTENs and cares that the customer will be happy with his work. yes, while that last point sould be a given, many may well know, that does not always turn out to be the case. Eugene began the work in the basement around Marcy 25. Eugene volunteered suggestions that improved on our initial vision, yet still remained within the budget for the job. Any issues that arose along the way were thoroughly explained. Additional requests were easily accommodated. Once the demolition of the existing wall was done, my husband and I noted some areas that might present a challenge, but in the end Eugend managed to work around the various structural issues in our home such that you can't even tell there were any preexisting flaws. The basement was finished around April 24. After finishing the basement work Eugene began work in the kitchen to demolish and remove the old pantry and knock out additional wall space above the refrigerator to make room for more cabinets and a larger pantry. On the day that they did the demolition, I expected to come home to a big mess on the main living level. Instead, if it had not been for the larger openning around the refrigerator, I wouldn't have known they had been there based on how neat they had left everything. My husband makes a bigger mess in the kitchen just getting cheese and crackers. A couple days later (after the cabinets were delivered) GloRem painted and completed the installation of the new pantry and cabinets above the refrigerator. The work is flawless. The new cabinetry looks fabulous and makes the kitchen look more complete and much more modern. Guests who have visited since the work was completed have raved about how nice everything looks as well as how quickly everything was completed. I am so happy I found GloRem. I have some additional work I want to do to update other areas of our home and will definitely be calling Eugene to come back.

We wanted to renovate our 1955 kitchen (original metal cabinets and orange formica countertops) as cost effectively as possible. After getting four quotes, we decided to hire Glorem. Eugene's quote was the most reasonable and he worked with us to keep things on a budget. We ended up doing most of the demo work and cabinet installation ourselves. Basically, Glorem updated and prepped the room for us to install the cabinets and then they came back after the counters were put in to finish everything up. In addition to the items listed above, Eugene gave us very useful advice for when we did the cabinet installation. He went ahead and fixed unforeseen issues (rotting subfloor, holes in the ceiling that were hidden by the old bulkhead, a sticky pocket door) and he also hooked up our gas dryer for us. Everything he and his worker did was done quickly and efficiently and they kept everything as clean as they possibly could. Eugene was also always on time and was easy to reach both through email and by phone. We had one slight problem with the drain after everything was done; I called Eugene on Friday and he came Saturday morning to fix it (it works great now). We purchased all materials; if there were items that he needed (corner bead, wiring, air ducts, etc.) Eugene bought it and we reimbursed him according to the receipts. We are very satisfied with the work Glorem did for us and would highly recommend them to anyone. We are considering a bath renovation in the future and Glorem would be our first choice to do it.

Wow. What a terrific experience for a beautiful new kitchen. From the start I wanted to pick out all the materials and purchase them from my own sources. I have fun shopping, but am not a do it yourselfer. My dilemma then was getting someone who could put it all together and take all the items and turn them into a great kitchen. GloRem LLC (short for Global Remodeling) turned out to be the perfect choice. From start to finish I am so impressed with this company and Eugene C. I received a detailed estimate for the scope of the work that would need to be done. GloRem LLC was the right fit to do the remodel. When I got a delivery date from the cabinet manufacturer, I contact Eugene and he promptly sent a detailed contract and I sent a down payment to hold the dates and contract for the job. On the appointed day, Eugene and his associate came on time and began the work. The work was done quietly, neatly, efficiently, professionally, and correctly. At the end of each workday everything was cleaned up and left tidy. I was consulted many times during the process to ensure that things were the way I wanted them. Eugene was genius in some of the challenges that were presented and the solutions that he thought out for them. The contract and payment was only for services provided. Any contractor supplies that were needed were purchased by Eugene and I reimbursed the amount for the other supplies. They worked their schedule around the cabinet delivery, the countertop measure, and install, and with some instances where I changed my mind from the original plan. They were gracious, and thorough, did the job right. They did not cut any corners even when I suggested they might. Eugene is like an artist. He takes great pride in his work and seems to really enjoy the process and the end result of his efforts. As nice as the items were that I purchased, they would be nothing without the expertise and artistry of the job done by GloRem,LLC. I am already planning to have them remodel my bathrooms next.

I chose them because they were local, showed up on time, gave me a good idea about half bath, and they were able to start the project in two weeks! The price, quality, and responsiveness were unbelievable. Best of all, I felt part of the project through knowing what would happen every day, and what was coming up, there were never any surprises and crews were all very professional and clean.

Overall, it was a pretty smooth experience. It took a little longer than expected but that was mostly due to waiting on the counter tops to be installed. I am more than happy with how everything turned out. He also did a good job cleaning up after he was done.

My experience with Eugene could not have been better. We were finishing two rooms in our basement, one room completely and the other just drywall, light's and outlets. Eugene met me and was waiting when I pulled up. We walked through the job one evening after work and it was about 8:30 when we finished. When he got home that night I had an estimate waiting for me. I gave him the ok to start working and he and his team finished the project earlier then expected. The result was unbelievable, they did an amazing job. They cleaned up when they finished and the communication along the way was great. They will be my single source contractor going forward. I could not have been happier. We had a tight deadline with a move in and they made our Christmas. Thank you Eugene! I will be calling you again. Tom

5 weeks long work went really smooth. Lesson learnt: Work needs to be done should be well documented and planned before you start the work. Otherwise, you end up spending more. Better negotiate the price before hand. Permit is a pain but it's worth every penny.

First time , the work that was done I saw at my friend's house. His bathroom was completely redone by this company. High quality work and professionalism. I decided to use their services and never regret it! I will definitely use their service again if needed. The job done was excellent and neat. Recommended them to everyone.

What impressed us about Glorem LLC was not only the quality of work, but also the fact that it was done in a timely fashion. Although we have had several contractors in the past, our experience with Glorem LLC has been the most satisfactory.

Eugene is the contractor I worked with and he is truly amazing. Within two weeks they transformed my ugly basement into a dream area that I can now use as a rental apartment. I've worked with terrible contractors in the past and know the difference between lazy work and perfection. They are the type of contractors that you don't have to supervise to do the work in your home. They came to my home on early every single day and left around 7pm. My only complaint is that I wish they worked closer to my area in Upper Marlboro as the commute was a little pricey from Baltimore for them with tolls. The commute for them was about 1.5 hours daily and they still did the work on time. Needless to say I highly recommend Glorem LLC to anyone I know.

Glorem came out to give me an estimate at the exact time he said he would. They arrived for the job on time and worked until the kitchen cabinets were removed and new ones installed.
