First contact with company after finding via Angie's List. They arrived on time and within one hour of service call that was made around two in the afternoon! Made quick and accurate diagnosis of problem. Quoted a price for the repair, and upon my agreement completed the repair (replaced failed capacitor), tested unit, resealed it and suggested waiting till the fall for further service, since unit seemed to be operating okay. A very pleasant experience on a very hot day on a weekend.

We were impressed by the responsiveness and genuine caring.

Called a month ago, no response, got an answering machine. I still see their trucks so I know they are in business, but too busy to call a customer, finally had to ask a friend for help. Will never call this company again.

The job went great overall. They called me the same day. It was on a Sunday so they couldn't get the part we needed, because the supplier was closed. They came the next day and everything went well. They are local and they call back.

This is a family business, so in the summer it is the main owner and his young son (who is delightful) who do most of the repair work. He tries to do same-day service, which during a hot summer means he works long hours, but that was great for us. It is frequent that you have to leave a message for him as he's working on another job, but he does call you back. The inability to talk to a person when you call is the only reason I gave him an B for responsiveness, otherwise it would have been an A. I would hightly recommend. He does have a different team of people who do installations, but it appears all the repair work is him directly. I find him honest - I don't think he would sell you something you didn't need or overcharge for repairs. A very good and reputable business professional.

Greg scheduled me within 2 days of when I called. He showed up right on time and answered all my questions. He's very nice and seems to know a lot about his trade.

I called Friday evening. My call was returned before 8 am the next day (Saturday). I was surprised, not expecting a call before Monday. The gentleman was pleasant and advised that he had two calls before me; but, would arrive late morning, which he did! He knew what the problem was and assisted us in finding an emergency switch that had somehow been turned off. We had no idea such a switch existed. It was buried deep in a closet. During the process of finding the switch, the technician was cheerful and helpful and not the least disturbed by two little dogs that wanted to play. I found this gentleman thorough and honest and would certainly call on him again!!

I called for service and made an appointment for 3 days later, I thought this was reasonable for June as my A/C was working I just wanted it checked before summer. My appointment window was 12-4pm. At 4:15 I called to see if they were still coming, and yes, they were running behind. The technician showed up at 8pm. I was aggravated that I wasted my entire afternoon sitting at home waiting for them. The technician was nice and I can understand being busy, but they could have called me or given me a discount for showing up so late. Technician found a slow leak of freon, but suggested since they were so busy it could wait until the fall to be repaired. Charged Freon.

We recently moved into a house 1 hour and 1/2 away from civilization. Our ac unit would not operate during the couple of warm days we experienced in April. We checked out Angie's list to see if any contractors listed would service our area. Lo and Behold, Patuxent was the only one that appeared and fortunately they had an A rating. We called and they told us they were overbooked for next day service but could work us in the day after. They appeared the next morning and was able to get us back up and running. We have been enjoying our system ever since.

The yellow pages ad claimed same-day service if you called before Noon. I called around 10:15 AM and the technician arrived around 2:30PM as advertised. He quickly diagnosed the problem, recharged the system and it worked great. He mentioned that my system was older and not as efficient as newer ones so he explained the benefits and cost savings of a new unit without being pushy. A very nice, and competent service technician. Highly recommended!
