Matt & his crew arrived on time & went right to work. They did a great job removing leaves from our property. We will definitely have them return.

He mentioned several times that is he blew the leaves in the wooded area on our property or blew them around the perimeter he could clean our whole yard. The purpose of hiring them was for the leaves to be removed. They only removed the leaves on 1/4 of the property. They had to be encouraged to do that. They still left some leaves around the perimeter. They said they had to save room for other people's leaves in their truck. My husband still had to clean the leaves. he is 71 and was able to clean and bag the rest of the leaves in 3 hrs. Seems like the 4-5 men should have been able to clean the whole yard in 1 hour if a 71 year old man could do 3/4 of the yard in 3 hours. The deal was not worth the money. I would not use them again.

Cleaned up all leaves and debris from front and back yard. Surprisingly cleaned on top and under deck and wooden play set. I have a good size back yard with MANY trees. They were fast and very thorough. Needless to say...I was very, very pleased.

I really would have to look up the deal to say what they did; but I remember just wanting a one-time maintenance call as opposed to my previous seasonal ones. The company did not disappoint in terms of what I expected.

AWESOME! I saw that they had a few negative reviews, but I always take those with a grain of salt. I purchased a big deal for leaf clean up for my mother and they came out within a week and did an excellent job. My mother's yard is a third of an acre and there are lots and lots of huge mature oak trees (she lives in an older neighborhood in Clinton, MD). That being said, my husband, kids and I all helped her get up the leaves last year and it took DAYS of raking and blowing for three adults. We filled something ridiculous like 30 large plastic yard waste bags (before they were banned in the county) and we could have done more if we didn't get tired. I just cannot believe that they were able to do such a thorough job in 4 man hours. My mom was not home when they came, but she was pleasantly suprised when she got home and saw how clean her yard was. Even the flower beds were clean as a whistle. She called me gushing with thanks. We did a little back and forth on scheduling, but each interaction was pleasant and professional. The price was more than reasonable. I will definitely use them again.

the day i had scheduled service was a rainy day. i called the company and asked whether it would go ahead. They said yes. The person arrived a bit late but nothing too big deal - i hadn't raced home to be there or wasn't waiting around. when he arrived i asked again whether they should do it given the rain. he said no problem. he did the aeration in a timely way and left without asking me to come out and inspect - i wasn't waiting outside given the rain. my complaint was the machines tore up several places where turns were made given the ground was wet. in addition, i felt like it didn't work as well - almost as if the dirt just went back in the holes due to the mud and rain. i don't mow my lawn when it is wet and after this experience i won't aerate when it is wet either. i don't have a pristine lawn so overall it wasn't too big of an issue but i won't use them again and i felt a "Lawn Artist" would not have gone ahead with the aeration in these conditions.

He arrived on time and explained what was need to be done. I did ask for a call to have work done later during the season, but didn't get a call.

They did a good job. They were quick and professional. They were very prompt and I have used them again.

I sent an email via Angie's List to ask if they serviced my area and got a call back immediately. This is a great business move. Nothing like immediate followup and personal attention when a customer has an inquiry. We discussed possibly coming out the next day or the day after and Matt said he would call me back and let me know if he'd be in my neighborhood. Two days later around 9am, I was awakened to the sound of several very loud leaf blowers going off in my backyard. I looked out my window and saw that Lawn Artists had arrived and quickly got to work. I wasn't expecting them to show up since nothing was confirmed but grateful nonetheless that they came so quickly. I went outside to check their work before they pulled off and that's when Matt saw me and introduced himself. It was a simple oversight but I did speak to Matt about not being notified before they arrived as I think this could be a sticking point for other homeowners who might not like work being done when they're not home. Overall I am pleased with the results and I think they do good business. They work fast.

No longer need the service due to someone else doing the work.

I'd like to give this provider an A, because they did a great job of clearing my yard and beds of leaves. They even did the street out front so the leaves would not blow into the yard. They brought a crew of about 6 people and worked quickly and efficiently. They came out less than a week after I bought the deal which was great and called to let me know that morning that they were running late. However, as they were nearing the end the job I went outside to talk to the owner, Matt, and saw that one of the workers was clearing an area of my neighbor's yard by blowing leaves into bushes and brush a bit father back on her property. I commented that my neighbor would not be happy about that and Matt said they had just cleared some leaves from her grass. I should have questioned it more at the time, but let it go. Later my neighbor told me she saw the workers blow leaves from the street into her yard and then farther back on her property. Needless to say she was very unhappy about this. I called Matt and asked that he come blow out the area of brush he blew the leaves into. He told me he would try to come out the next day, would call me to let me now for sure and I was very appreciative of this. The next day he did not show or call and when I called him he told me he would not be out for another week. He said there is no way for him to avoid leaves getting into my neighbor's yard when clearing the street, no way to tell which leaves he had blown into her yard and that my neighbor was being petty. I was not trying to get him to clear my neighbors yard for free, I simply feel that when he blew leaves into her yard, even if unavoidable while clearing the street, he should have cleared those leaves off of her property instead of blowing them farther back onto her property. Granted this is Thanksgiving week so I understand Matt's schedule might be tight; but nevertheless, he did not take responsibility and his response was disappointing. UPDATE 11/28/14 in response to provider: When I got home later that night and after I wrote the review, I did get the message that the provider had left that afternoon on my home phone. My issue is not with the timeliness of when the company could come out and fix the situation. My disappointment is ith the owner not taking responsibility for the fact that he blew leaves onto her property even if "very minor", and only reluctantly agreeing to take care of the situation.

Excellent - 4 guys showed up then another 2 guys showed up and did my whole yard in less than 2 hours. Really nice, friendly, people. Would / Will use them again!

This is the second time I have used Lawn Artists. They were responsive and the price was reasonable. A crew of seven completed the work quickly and thoroughly. My neighbor saw the great job they were doing and hired them to remove the leaves from her yard too. I will call again!

Yard looked amazing after project was done. All current season leaves were picked up and all remnants of passed seasons leaves were gone as well!

I purchased the lawn clean up deal and they were fantastic! Matt called me right away and his crew were at my home the next morning as promised. I had leaves everwhere! My yard looks great and I will definitely use them in the spring.

The service provider explained that the deal would only cover a specific area of my lawn. I require additional services which include cleaning the border of my wooded area of the lawn. The service provider said they could not provide the services I requested through the Angie's list deal advertised. As a result, I require a refund.

Was not able to use the services at this time, but will consider using in the future.
