Lawn Artists

I have had hired them to do the aerating and seeding thing and ultimately cancelled it because the guy claimed he came out here and did this. I could see no evidence of any clogs. He could describe the area to me. I think he came here, but I cannot believe he did anything. He said that I have sandy soil, but I have clay. I think he came out and looked. I actually asked for my money back. I got my money back for that one. They did not do anything. I wanted them to come on a Monday. I wanted them to be here and they just could not get it together to do it when I was here. I do not like people around my house when I am not here.

They trimmed up the landscaping- raked the yard-cleaned up the trimmings- applied Preen and put down mulch. The mulch could have been thicker and they missed raking a side yard but over all it was a good job.

We had a big yard. They did a great job!

This was our second time using the company, and it was just as good as the first. They show on schedule, they do the work as promised, and they follow up quickly with an email version of the bill. Furthermore, the price is always reasonable.

The crew showed up on time and immediately started cleaning up the leaves in the yard. They did a great job and worked very quickly, saving me a lot of time.

WOW!!!!!!!!! The BEST lawn cleanup of leaves on my property in 25 years. Matt and his crew were flexible , professional., and IMPRESSIVE.

I was not satisfied with. They got all the leaves out of the yard. They were supposed to pick up the leaves and not blow them into the woods. There were three or so people here doing the work. They did not disposed of the leaves.

Fine. Cleaned mulched beds. I should have bought an extra package for additional work.

They actually left before I inspected the areas. SOme areas were not finished. I would consider using them again, but, I'd like to inspect before they leave as I had to do the extra work they didn't do after they left. I was going to call them back, but, I just let it go this time.

Matt coordinated with us through several weather delays and got us scheduled for a Saturday appointment after the lawn (and leaves) dried out. He called ahead when he was 15 minutes away and showed up promptly within the time-window we established. After a quick walk-around with Matt to establish my expectations, the crew went to work and finished removing the large amount of leaves from my 1/2 acre lawn in 75 minutes. Overall, I was very satisfied by the work of the Lawn Artists company! The only caveat is they do not pick up tree limbs, twigs, and brush when doing a leaf removal job.

Everything went well. The cleaners cleaned my yard and then left. I am happy with what they did. The cleaners were on time for our appointment and very respectable. They followed through on what I wanted completed. My yard looks good and I was happy they came. I would use them again. I would recommend them to other members.

It was terrible. First, there was problem with the scheduling. One day when I went to work, I got a call asking if they could come then. I said okay, but it is going to take me probably 40 minutes to get home. They must have been around the corner from my house when they called. On the phone, I gave them instructions what to start with. I wanted them to clear two flowerbeds in the back. When I got home, they had cleared out all of the vegetation including 60 flowerbeds, so that I have bare dirt. Then they pruned my dogwood trees in the back. I have three huge dogwood trees. They took all the side limbs off of them except for the top. Last year, I ended up having a total of 17 flowers on three trees and now, I had no flowers. Then they pruned down my 4 butterfly bushes, so that they are now dead because they chopped the whole side limbs. They over pruned another tree. As a result, we re-landscaped our backyard. I paid extra $200, other than the big deal. Everything looked nice and clean when they were there; but then I realized when it rained, it was nothing to catch the water on the ground. I had pools of water and then I realized when the time came for the trees to bloom, I had no flowers. My butterfly bushes hadn't come back. The owner was supposed to come out and take a look, but he came out at a later date. He was supposed to come at a certain time one evening after the work, and he didn't show up & he didn't call. The next day when I come home, he was sitting in my driveway. By then, I really didn't know how bad everything was, but something is wrong with these people. They came early

He arrived on time and started to work immediatedly. If took him about 30 minutes. I think the value for the work was very good.

The service was excellent,, and I will use the lawn care service again.

Absolutely outstanding ! Good communication with company. They got up all the leaves and left the place neat and tidy. I was very pleased. The company took great care to ensure everything was placed back neatly if It Had To Be moved. I would definitely hire this company again.

Matt was the best provider as far as communication and scheduling that we have dealt wit on Angie's List. Due to the weather, this was a service that had to be done within a certain window and Matt kept us informed all the way! The work itself was great! I came home to a spotless yard - not a leaf in sight! We would definitely use LawnA rtists again!

They did a good job. It was not perfect as leaves were still falling down but it was fine for what they needed to do. Hiring them again would depend on my cash flow.

They showed up on time and did a great job. I have large yard and paid a bit extra but price very reasonable. Yard looked great when the were done and I would happily use their service again!

I contacted Matt Curtin of Lawn Artists to inquire about his services through Angie's List. Our yard was covered with leaves as my husband recently had back surgery and has just not been able to physically keep up with the yard work. Matt was just a delight and pleasure to work with. He was very professional and very responsive. In fact, he was scheduled to come out on, Thursday, the 18th of December, but he actually came a day early. I was very pleased about that. Matt and his crew did an excellent job and if I ever need his services again, I would not hesitate to call.

Couldn't have been better. The work was done so quickly and thoroughly. I contacted the company on the weekend and the work was done the same morning that my call was returned (Monday, I believe). I would recommend Lawn Artists to anyone! It was a pleasure to work with them!

They were punctual and did a wonderful job. A much better job then anyone that I had hired in the past. They blew the leaves into the woods and flattened the leaves unlike the two other yard contractors that I hired in the past who left huge piles circling my property. I am very happy with Lawn Artist and would recommend them to you.They did in excellent job and their pricing was half that of what I paid in the past.:)

It went well, despite the weather. The weather was a hindurance at first, but the provider would not give up. They came and took care of everything despite the unexpected snow flurries. They completed the job in a timely fashion and cleared my yard of ALL leaves (and we had ALOT). They were in constant contact until the job was completed. Very professional and a GREAT company. I will be seeking their business in the future. You can count on that.
