Responsive, polite, and the work was completed quickly. I will definitely call again!

Everything went fine, the price was reasonable. However they were a little in-flexible about when they could come out and do the work.

This was a great "Big Deal" that saved us hours ahd hours of yard work. I received an email within an hour of purchasing the service, asked a few questions through the Angie's List email communication and received responses almost immediately. I spoke to the company on the phone, set a date, doublechecked a few details, and only 5 days later, returned home to see our yard cleaned of all those leaves! Since we don't have leaf pickup on our street, the fact that the leaves were taken away as well as vacuumed was a huge help. I found the company to be reponsive, responsible, and very professional. I'd use them again.

We were very impressed. We had several inches of leaves. They got every last little bit of debris. Our yard has never looked better. There is no way we could have had the same results doing the work ourselves.

It turned out well. They said hi, they did their job and they did it well and they said goodbye which was super. They were there when they said they would be there. They did what they said they would do and they did it well.

There was a little "phone tag", but that's only because I thought I'd given my house number as a contact, but in fact I'd given my cell--and I can go several days without checking my cell :-) I was pleased that we didn't necessarily have to be at home, for the work to be done. That allowed for much greater flexibility. I didn't actually get to meet the technician; I believe he finished just before I got home for lunch. But he came at the time agreed upon and performed the work, just as described. I don't think I'll know just how helpful the process was until next spring; but so far, so good :-)

Aerated the lawn and spread grass seed.

It turned out okay. The downside was that he tried to schedule it as quickly as he was in the area. He told me Monday and Tuesday and I was trying to do something. I actually had wanted to be here and I asked him to postpone it until later and he came anyway and did it. Anyway, he did a good job. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. He fulfilled the deal for $119.

I was really busy but they were very thorough and kept following up with me to get the appointment scheduled. The guys did a good job and the price was fair.

I have done this myself in the past. It is a tough job. The price, quality and completeness of the job was well worth the price.

Fine except I could not get the work done.

They were very good. The service was very good. They were punctual. They contacted me the next day for the schedule and they were out the following week which was based on my availability.

During the process of scheduling the service, I specifically communicated the back yard needed special attention due to the many spaces where grass hasn't been able to grow. They did the work during the day while I was at work. When I came home, the back yard looked as if it hadn't been touched. I really had to look for aerator holes in the ground. It was disappointing to say the least. I didn't make a big fuss but I'll never use them again and definitely wouldn't recommend them.

So farthe grass is green and full with a lot of new growth.

Original contact with provider was good. Workers came when they said they would. Although originally scheduled for lawn aeration only, provider also suggested seeding and fertilizing for an additional $190.00. I agreed and the lawn was also seeded and fertilized. It seems like they couldn't get done fast enough, though. The two workers finished in record time and were gone before I could evaluate. Aeration holes seemed really far apart. They probably should have gone over the same area a few more times. I am beginning to see a little grass growth, but it is pretty uneven.

Purchased the lawn aeration special under Angie's List. With good communication, I was also able to schedule the fertilizing and seeding of the yard for a reasonable cost. The services were rendered within a week, which was important given that I wanted to give the seed time to germinate before it got too cold. They were a lot more responsive and commication was a lot better...and price than TruGreen, for me. Also, they performed the fertilizing and seeding without any payment up front, allowing me to pay by phone after I inspected their work. Would definitely use again.

The owner Matt arrived & introduced himself. He was very professional and immediately started aerating the lawn. While I had not purchased to spread seed in talking with Matt about my lawn it was something he suggested which I agreed needed to be done. Matt gave me a good price so the back yard was aerated and seeded, which it really needed. I would use and recommend Lawn Artist in the future.

On 9/16/13 Matt emailed me through the Angie's List message system, and Matt and I conversed in setting up the appointment. We agreed for the job to be performed on 9/19/13 at 3:00 P.M. On 9/19/13 Matt hadn't yet arrived by 4:00 P.M. with not even a call. I was very patient, giving him the 1 hour leeway, but that was enough and I called him. He stated he was running late and will arrive at a later identified time. In this case the delay was fine as far as my schedule, but he never had called and notified me. I don't recall at this time what time he estimated, but I was not happy I didn't get an earlier call to explain the delay so I wouldn't wonder if he was coming at all. Matt finally arrived at the time he stated, and being a one man operation, he proceeded to perform the service. Due to the late afternoon hour when he did arrive, for me Matt appeared to be rushing to finish and be off to the next job or destination. After the quick service there was an area I felt was not properly aerated having been not touched at all, and I asked Matt to go back and do it, which he did no questions asked. Matt did spend about 10 minutes offering advice on further lawn care, but I felt for the size of my property area being much less than the property area which the Angie's List deal covered, i would have received a more carefully orchestrated service. Matt called on 10/22/13 to discuss the service provided and we agreed that he did perform the service as promised per the Big Deal. He pointed out the property size was small, and much less time is required than for a much larger property. Matt did spend time providing lawn care advice to help the lawn return to a greener state after the recent dry weather. Matt acknowledged his delay due to earlier appointments, but otherwise the service was performed as described. The lawn is now much greener.

They did a good job aerating the yard, and then they overspread grass seed. I found them very responsive.

Very smoothly. He scheduled the work quickly and was punctual, and did exactly what I expected. The aerating was the "special" deal, but I had him fertilize and overseed as well. This part was a bit perfunctory (and not particularly inexpensive for what it was) as there was no real prep of the lawn ahead of time, other than the aeration. He just quickly spread a seed / fertilizer mix over everything, which didn't really end up "taking" except for a small part of the front yard. Much of it was spread over a mat of dead grass, so it didn't really penetrate. That said, this was pretty much exactly what I asked and paid for, and consequently what I was expecting, so I have no problem with the job he did. If I were paying him to completely revitalize my yard I'm sure it would have cost me quite a bit more and entailed several more visits. All told, great experience, and I'd definitely use them again.

It's always easy working with the owner, and the company has done great work for us off and on over the past few years.

The people were very nice and professional, but the price was too high. Thus, I went with another company for the job.
