Provider didn't service my area.

The service got out to a shaky start. The provider arrived much later than scheduled. He seemed rather annoyed upon arrival. We had a rather heated discussion (on his part) about the price of service. The provider wanted to amend the price on site due to the amount of leaves. I had disclosed my lawn size and amount of trees prior to scheduling service and was told it was fine. At one point, the provider was shouting, cursing, and ripped up my check. He later apologized, stating he was really frustrated with how the Angie's List listing was working out for him. I guess he had some difficulty accurately assessing price given the fees, crew size, etc. The experience ended with him apologizing profusely and me having a clean lawn. I am sure he regrets his initial lack of professionalism. Ultimately, once he started removing the leaves, service was expedient and thorough.

It was great. They came out, they did the work, they mapped the area and i didn't have to be there. I didnt reallly interacrt with the company. They sent me email requests, we picked the date and they came out on that date. I didn't need to be there. It was convinient, very easy. They were professional. The work was actually good. I haven't had a problem with my grass, whatever they put down it worked.

Matt was very patient and easy to work with. Through several email exchanges we were able to come up with A workable layout within my budget. The installation process was quick and they even took the time to patch Up the yard where the equipment caused (very minimal) damage. Now that the warm weather is here, I have Been able to enjoy my patio and believe it was worth the investment.

I purchased the Lawn Artist service (weed and feed) on March 18th. Matt sent an email asking when would be a good time to come over, I gave him a date and scheduled the service. Unfortunately, it took several phone calls and emails of re-scheduling on his part before he finally came out. I asked if I needed to be home for this service and was told "no." I should have been home.....I've noticed two of my perennials that they sprayed and I no longer have. Recommendation: Homeowner should be at home when service is performed so that their company knows what to spray and not to spray. Also, a day planner, calendar and personal email reminders are needed for this company so that "scheduled" appointments are not forgotten and then re-scheduled over and over again. I think Lawn Artists should look at the distance of the area's they are servicing and make sure that can get to those areas in a timely manner as well as provide the service purchased.

I guess they didn't read specific instructions in the notes they ask for during set up emails. (i.e. the address). We finally talked the morning of the job and I waited and waited. I finally got a call from one of the individuals performing the work asking where I was. They were partway through the job at the wrong house. In the wrong state. Bummer for both of us. They didn't service Virginia at all so my money was refunded. They were very nice but I still haven't had my yard aerated. just be sure you speak with them to confirm anything you have sent in writing!

Everything went well. I have no weeds now. I am happy. However; a month later another company advertised weed control treatment for $29.00 for townhomes. Oh well, perhaps Lawn Artists will offer a lower price for townhouses the next time.

These guys were great! Super responsive to emails, kept me informed about weather delays and other issues, but definitely completed the job to my satisfaction. I'll be using them again at the end of the season for another treatment with seeding.

It went well. He was rained out the originally scheduled date but came the next day. Very pleasant and knowledgeable and when my husband asked about the next step as far as aeration and seeding he was very helpful. He said to wait about a month. good news is, the grass looks great, sometimes when you put down weed killer you kill most of your lawn, that did NOT happen. The grass that was already there is growing fast and green, other part are now growing and green. There are a few patches that just never seem to grow grass well so we will be working on those, or we call Lawn Artists and let them do the aeration and seeding! yeah, that's a plan. Recommendation, yes.

Prompt in setting up appointment. Weather preceding day of appointment had been raining. The 1:00 PM appointment turned into a 5:00 PM appointment. Lawn aeration - fine, no complaints. Notification re delay in service - not timely, but due to stacked schedule because of the week's weather. Requested grass seed to be distributed - was told evaluation would be made on site, but never received feedback. Good points: courteous communications, value for service Drawback: limited times available for appointment - nothing to accommodate after 5:00 PM Needs improvement: customer should not have to call to follow-up on when service is late

I was disappointed that the service was done just before some rain which probably diminished the impact of the work. Lawn looks O.K. and there is evidence that crabgrass was killed so I think the treatment did some good. I would consider doing it again were I more confident that they would be more mindful of the weather. In fairness, it has been tough to predict the weather this year, though.

When Lawn Artists called to set appointment, I asked if they could provide soil amendments such as fertilizer and weed killer which they offered. Bad Weather delayed first appointment, but lawn Artists called ahead of time to reschedule for same time the next day. The lawn is sprouting nicely without weeds, and I am quite pleased with the start their service is giving my previously neglected lawn.

The team arrived on time and very quickly cleaned the yard of leaves. They were fast, courteous and professional.

This is my second big deal with lawn artists Both times the company responded quickly , did work promptly on my schedule Matt was always polite and sociable

The provider was consistent in his communication prior to the completion of the job. The job was completed. I looked at the backyard and most of the leaves were removed. I noticed quite a few leaves had not been removed but I work extremely long hours and never really examined the yard completely. I had time this week 4/14 to really get a good look because I had to cut down my grasses. I reached out to the provider with my complaint and he stated he had not heard from me in two months and recently there had been high winds. I took pictures of the leaves today and you can clearly see the amount of leaves that I raked. Lesson learned I will be home the next time I have a service performed of this nature.

My beautiful plush yard was looking rather pitiful after all the snow during this winter. Once the weather broke, you could see that there were plenty of weeds trying to take over my yard/grass. Lawn Artists came out on the day they promised, and diligently sprayed weed killer all over my yard, followed by a summer fertilization. It took the technician less than 30 minutes to complete the job, but he did an excellent job because my lawn gardener who cuts my grass came today. Upon arriving he commented that my grass was absolutely "gorgeous"--thick and plush with little to no weeds. He asked if his company had provided my weed control treatment and fertilization (usually they do), but I commented, "NO". I am so proud of how my yard now looks. This was especially important to me since my realtor will be taking pictures to list my house on the market for sale on Tuesday, April 15. She will absolutely love the look of my yard!!! Because of winter weather, appointments had to be rescheduled several times. Lawn Artists kept in touch via email, and was efficient about finding alternative times. On the day that finally clicked, the crew arrived precisely at noon for an "afternoon" appointment. They worked quickly but thoroughly. Everything looked fine when they were done. I was hoping to have some yard debris (limbs, twigs, etc.) removed, but they indicated they were not set up to do that. I had no complaint, because the deal specifically designated leaf removal. Nevertheless, the crew did do some cleanup of small twigs, etc.

I requested this service on 3/28/14. After a few days, I sent him an email directly because I did not here from him. That's when he explained that sometimes some of his emails go to a spam folder. The day he suggested did not work for me. So I asked him to cancel the service via email.

They were scheduled for late morning, but didn't show up until 2 p.m. However, Matt was very apologetic, had a professional attitude and seemed knowledgeable.

Customer service was straight awful. Did not confirm time and did not show up for appointment. Talked and treated me discriminatory as if I didn’t matter as a customer, and then told me that that’s how he talks and treats his customers. He straight up told me to just get a refund and I wouldn’t recommend him for the bottom of my shoe.

Lawn Artists cleaned my 1/2 acre yard throughly of leave, branches and debris. I was plesantly surprise with the work done. I told my neighbor the guys (4) saved me two years of life. There were a lot of leaves and it normally takes me months to get it done. The guys completed the work in 2 hours. I will not hesitate to use them again.

Before the scheduled date to do the work, I was in contact with Matt, the owner, several times. He responded quickly and clearly. On the day of the scheduled appointment, the team arrived early, introduced themselves, listened to what needed to be done, gave me options and suggestions, and then took care of the yard without any further guidance from me. I was extremely happy with the work that was done, the way everything was handled both over the internet and in person. After I paid, a receipt was emailed to me immediately. I wish I could have them come every week!! :-) I will definitely use them again, and I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Do: Make sure the customer is aware or available for service. Effectively communicate with the customer. follow up with the customer for customer satisfaction.

They did the aereation and reseeded the lawn. They were very prompt. They came out when they said they would. They did a nice job.
