Description of Work: Removed and replaced wood fire boiler flue. |As it turns out, we had flue fire during the previous season, which caused catastrophic failure to our flue. CC provided a report for insurance submital purposes, which was approved. Because our home owners insurance covered the cost and I have no other flue replacement costs to compare, I submitted "n/a" on this eval regarding cost. |CC was very professional, responsive & informative throughout the process. I highly recommend their chimney services!

Description of Work: Chimney was swept, cap checked for imperfections and entire chimney was video inspected. Mark, the owner, came on time and was very friendly. He explained everything he was going to do and was very thorough. Safety was his number one priority. He made sure to spend as much time as possible with me to answer all of the questions that I had. I will be using them again for an insert installation very soon! I would highly recommend using this company.

They arrived a little early for the job which was ok since I was here but had I not been here, they would have had to wait. They brought blankets to lay on the floor and vacuums to clean up any messes and to remove any particles that might fall out during the cleaning. They found several issues with the chimneys and showed me on the camera. They explained what was wrong, how it might have happened and different methods of fixing the problems. There were problems caused by age, abuse and an overall poorly built chimney. Thankfully my ducts were only dusty. They did look for mold and other possible problems but didn't find any. They cleaned up after themselves and I can hardly tell they were here. They will send me an estimate of all the repairs to fix the problems with the chimney as well as fixing parts that were poorly constructed so these areas do not cause any more problems in the future.
Description of Work: The crew removed my fireplace insert, cleaned the chimney and then reinserted it. They cleaned the chimney for the woodstove in the basement as well. They cleaned all the heating/ac ducts in the house. They seemed very knowledgable, efficient, eager to explain and answer any question or concern I had. They used a camera to inspect the chimneys and a giant vacuum to clean the ducts. I learned alot about my house!

Overall experience was good. There was a little dirt tracked in, but it was raining the day they showed up. They also left the dryer pretty dirty and scuffed up, but a Mr. Clean magic sponge and some elbow grease fixed that as well.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CHIMNEY SWEEP TO ANYONE. THEY COME CLOTHED IN THE TRADITIONAL CHIMNEY SWEEP OUTFIT AND DID A GREAT JOB. THEY RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO OUR REQUEST FOR SERVICE AFTER WE HAD EXPERIENCED A CHIMNEY FIRE.
