The fellows were great: efficient, hard working, pleasant & professional. They came early; were patient. Very deliberate in doing the job right. Packed up everything better than I could. Knew what they were doing. What else is there to say? I would use Orly again and strongly recommend them!

My move yesterday, done by Orly Moving, ran extremely well. The process was above and beyond my expectations. Calvin was a wonderful foreman to work with, and Mino, Eddie and Santos were fabulous, hard working movers as well. They took into consideration the potential morning traffic on 695 / 97 to Annapolis and still showed up 2 minutes early; they were efficient, friendly, timely, cautious with my belongings and not once did I feel an ounce of anxiety during the move. Calvin put me at ease the moment he saw my 50+ boxes and said "we got this", with a huge smile on his face so I was no longer worried about their skills to pack everything in a 10x10. Calvin's positive attitude was key! Making arrangements for the move with Tom with short notice was very easy and I was at comfort the moment we spoke as well as the moment I signed the contract. I appreciate the prompt response, details, and most importantly, Calvin outlining in detail what I was signing the moment I was about to make the final payment. I look forward to using Orly again for my move from the storage unit to my future permanent residence. To all, I highly recommend Orly Moving regardless of where you are located in the MD/DC/VA areas!

Went VERY well. Cesar and his crew were very prompt and professional and took great care with our grandfathers clock and antique break front. So overall with three delivery locations and two nights of storage the actual cost came in less than estimated. We would definitely recommend Orly again.

The movers arrived on time, worked quickly and ensured all our property was professionally handled. They packed up and loaded our belongings with care and consideration. The unloading was quick, organized and efficient. They came highly recommended and we would highly recommend them in turn.

This move was seamless. The movers were so efficient and very accommodating. They are all very friendly and willing to do anything to make sure their customers walk away happy. The customer service experience at Orly Moving was second to known. This is my third move with them and I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone that is moving.

Orly Moving has moved me several times and my daughter several times. Every experience was wonderful! The movers always showed up exactly on time. They were cheerful, polite and hard working. Some of my moves were over the summer and it was VERY hot. They didn't let get in the way of working very hard to get the job done each time. Moving is stressful, and we weren't exactly ready/prepared for some of the moves. Thank goodness for Orly Moving helping with the packing, organization and storage, or some of the moves wouldn't have gotten done at all! They introduced themselves and stopped in their tracks to do whatever I asked of them. While I was trying not to burst into tears over the stress and helplessness I felt, they were actually singing and humming at times, which I found comforting. In addition to moving us, they were very supportive through it all... that it would all get done, and we shouldn't worry. Through all the moves, everything made it safely to the new destinations (without damage)... even when we needed to use their storage facilities. I would HIGHLY recommend Orly Moving!!

Service was friendly, efficient, smart, and talented. Not to name names, but Monroy and his men got the job done in about three hours. Estimate was for seven hours. Don't let the estimate discourage you. This company works fast and does not quit. Best moving experience in my entire life.

The company stole my pocket book which had money it, my checkbook,two antique pill boxes, a partial piece of my dentures, and a necklace that my children had given to me. The way they dealt with my things being stolen was absolutely awful. Due to the company stealing from me this has cause me a great deal of stress I would recommend that no one uses this company. They took absolutely no responsibility of stealing my pocketbook and the items in it. This company has not only caused me financial stress but also emotional stress. They also billed me after the fact that they stole my things and expected me to pay them. No one should use them under any circumstances.

It took 2.5 times as long as they said it would take. The packing was shoddy, so they ran out of my materials quickly (of course) so provided their own, at an additional cost to me! Naturally, there were boxes that had almost nothing in them! That way they could force me to buy more boxes! Many things were broken and my home damaged. I had paid for extra insurance and they were more than unbelievably difficult to deal with in making a claim. I had to write up a report, supply pictures, etc., that's fine. Then a representative had to come to my home to see the damage. He took so long, I had no choice but to have it repaired. He didn't like that. For other work, he wanted to multiple quotes for the work. If I did the work, he wouldn't pay! I have yet to receive any payment on the damages. The management there is disgusting. They even tried to over charge me for fees to use my credit card! Watch out for these people! They are terrible. Use someone else.

Our estimate was 890.00. The total charge at the end was 1720.00, which is double the estimate. If we would know the real price we would never hire them. They were arguing. One of the workers left in the middle of the day and never came back. The original time for their arrival was scheduled for 8 am, but at the last minute they rescheduled it to 12pm. They arrived on time, but it took them 11 hours to move 2 bedrooms apartment. Overall experience was awful. I would never hire them again.

A terrible company to work with. They were extremely diligent and responsive to get the contract, but once I agreed to the contract the customer service and communication became horrible. I agreed to give Orly the business over a national carrier (Packrat), because Orly is a local vendor. They promised to match the price of the national company (at least that's what I thought was supposed to happen), but then they started nickel and dime-ing me for extras. Such as 3% extra for using a credit card and extra $$ for insurance - at the end it cost lot more than the national firm. After they picked up my boxes, they moved them to their warehouse. Once they had my furniture, they could care less about communicating when the shipment was going to be delivered. Tom, at Orly, refused to provide a delivery date or even a date when he would know when the shipment was going to be delivered. I asked to speak to the manager or owner, he refused to provide name of the owner. He referred me to his counterpart Ron. Ron at least started to communicate with me via txt. His typical response was and quot;i will let you know tomorrow or next week when your shipment will be deliveredand quot; This similar response went on for about 3 weeks until my shipment arrived. He never provided a firm delivery date. Just and quot;i will let you know tomorrowand quot; The problem with that statement - tomorrow never comes. I finally found out my delivery date when I received a call from the truck driver informing me that he will deliver my furniture and quot;tomorrowand quot;. Moving is difficult. Working with ORLY made this move extremely difficult, frustrating, stressful. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Our charge was $600 above the estimate which meant that we were charged for half an hour of the workers fighting amongst themselves in front of our children Half an hour when the entire team stopped to watch an exercise machine get taken apart in a doorway that blocked any progress Scratches to the floor because bed frames were rebuilt using tape rather than the appropriate hardware and Doorframes that were taken down but not put back up, because the movers were either unable or unwilling to take the doors off a refrigerator and freezer.

Overall was great. I should have had them pack more valublws even though it was a local move and we took manyt of our own antiques, etc.

Orly Moving Systems Inc moved some stuff from my house to my sister's house, which is about 5 miles away. They were very careful. When they got there, they said it should be less $17 because it took less time or whatever. So I got a refund. They were courteous when I called. I will use them to move more stuff.

We needed time to drive to Florida with our animals and they allowed us extra time so we would arrive ahead of them. They showed up as planned and were finished within 4 hours. I would definitely recommend this company.

I moved everything except furniture and paintings. There were no appliances moved. The packing of my precious belongings was handled with care and thoroughness. The actual move was estimated within approx 30 minutes of time allotted. The glass on one very large painting was accidentally broken in the move and it was taken to be fixed immediately. The guys were very polite and pleasant to work with, very capable and hardworking. They did not waste time. Would hire them again ....no doubt about it.

They would be the first ones I would call. They are very professional.

All in all the company was pleasant to work with. However, there were a few big issues. Although they packed us and stored our things on June 30 for a July 5th delivery, they did not give us our final price until the delivery, which included a hefty additional cost for the overage in weight. I did not have a problem with the price, but we would have been able to better prepared had they notified us in advance when they they did weigh it. There were also some damaged pieces which we did not notice until later. The guys were friendly and worked hard (it was 102 degrees when they were working).

By in large Orly did a reasonable job, but there was some damage. This move was only about a mile, so I would have expected no damage. I've had better experiences with other movers. The packing wasn't as impressive as I would have hoped. They were prompt, and basically professional. I probably will not use them again.

The team arrived on time and ready to work. They moved everything out of my old home quickly and efficiently. They did not nick one wall or damage one thing. They took a 30 minute lunch which they did not charge me for. When they arrived at my new house things went very smoothly until the end. I told the movers not to walk on the grass to bring a heavy piece into the basement as the grass was wet and muddy and they would track in. They did not listen to me and I had mud tracked into my fresh professionally cleaned carpet. I immediately called Bonnie to inform her. It took a while to get everyones calendars aligned but Orly took care of the damage and had everything cleaned. It was not an easy process but was all taken care of in the end. The gentlemen that did return to clean the carpet were very apologetic and professional. As I continue to unpack I have noticed a few broken things like a train table, a filing cabinet, and a bookshelf. I guess these things happen but this is my 4th move in 5 years and this is by far the most damage I have had with a moving company.

We packed our own boxes beforehand. As promised, a team of three with a large moving truck showed up on the appointed morning. They worked quickly but carefully. The entire process, which included disassembling and re-assembling a bed, took only four hours. We are completely satisfied with their performance.
