We used Orly upon the recommendation of a friend. This was my 7th experience with professional movers (often moving long long distance) and my husband's 3rd experience. The initial move from our Virginia house into storage (for one year while a new home was constructed) was fine. The move from storage into our new home in Maryland was where the problems were noticed. While moving in, a supervisor would inspect all furniture and "repair" any cosmetic damage with stain markers, something I had never seen done before. But ok... Then one of the stain markers exploded and leaked on our (brand new) floor and (expensive) living room area rug. The foreman and then another man from the home office tried to clean the rug. We were told at that point that someone would be in touch to have the rug professionally cleaned. Not only was no one ever in touch, when I reached out to Bonnie, I received no help. In addition, when I asked for an extension on the 14-day claim period (because my father went into hospice in North Carolina, died and was buried in that 14-day time period), the response was a simple and direct No. Wow.... So, despite my friend's positive experience, I simply cannot recommend Orly Moving because of the poor customer service.

I cannot say it enough. The movers were the only part of the moving experience that was a delight. 5 days before the move I found out we’d have to put our belongings in storage and they were able to change plans to accommodate storing our belongings. Then I got an update that the house we were closing on wasn’t closing for the title sign until 3pm on the move day, so they came at 3:30pm. The teams were courteous, professional and swift. They honestly were the best moving company I’ve ever worked with and I work in Property Management, so I’ve dealt with a fair amount of moving companies. Would recommend to all my friends and fam. Price below includes moving out of the apartment, 5 nights of storage and moving into my new place.

Prior to the move, Ben patiently answered all my questions and confirmed the move date and time. On the day of the move, the guys were awesome. The foreman of the three-man crew was knowledgeable and thorough, checking with us often about our preferences and answering our questions. All three men handled our items with extreme care. They were efficient without seeming to rush. I could not be happier with Orly Moving Systems. Their slogan is something like, The Way Moving Should Be, and after the move was over, I can wholeheartedly agree.

The move went very well. The crew arrived on time, looked over everything they needed to do and got to work. It took just a bit over two hours for them to wrap everything and load it on the truck. They drove to NJ and unloaded everything. They were very polite and wore masks the whole time. There was no damage of any kind. The price was very reasonable. I can highly recommend Orly Moving.

The entire process was effortless on my end. The movers were prompt, professional, kind, and mannerly. They were also efficient and relieved the much undo stress I had undertaken. I would highly recommend Orly Movers all friends and family. Everyone.

Everything about our experience with Orly was excellent. We needed to move several large and/or heavy items between two Baltimore rowhouses, including a delicate painting and moving a washer and dryer to one house and another washer back. Bonnie was responsive and friendly and emailed a quote same-day. When the movers showed up, they were efficient and professional, taking care to do things right. I overheard them speaking to each other about avoiding causing damage, and they worked well together to move us back and forth with due care. We’ve had recent experiences with companies that shortcut, and Orly is not like that. We kept remarking how good it was to work with professionals. I definitely would hire them again. My only suggestion would be to adopt Square or similar mobile technology for credit card payment, but that’s a minor detail.

Orly moved us from a row house in Baltimore City to a single family home in the county as well as moving a 10 x 10 storage unit. They were very careful with our belongings, professional and fast. ORLY movers are the best! This is my 4th time using them to move me, but this time it was out of state. I relocated to North Carolina from Maryland and they were extremely patient, professional and took very good care of all of my things! One of the guys even helped me decorate (figuring out where to put things). If and when I have to move again, it will be with ORLY. THANKS GUYS!

It was the worst move out of 5 the first time using professionals my furniture was not treated with care and I have no idea. What it will look like. Was not at all happy. They left furniture behind and complained to buyers realtor the whole time. Thank A

They all did a great job - kept a positive attitude, looked for solutions when anything unexpected popped up, and put in some very hard work on a hot day. Plus they were polite and considerate. Miguel’s expert packing and driving kept everything safe, and he and every other member of the team - Eric, Shades, and Grant - had the stamina for the job. Even with several flights of stairs! The price was very reasonable and I will be sure to recommend Orly to friends.

I needed to schedule the move in a short time period which they did. The crew arrived on time, They were very careful with the items. They put the items in they places I wanted. The price was more reasonable than three other companies I contacted. Once the renovation is done I will request this company to move my furniture back. Would highly recommend based on price and service.

Absolute professionals! Julio did an amazing job with his crew moving a 7500 square foot house. Orly moving will be the only ones we ever use. They gave us a fair price and stuck too it. No hidden fees and everything arrived without damage. I can highly recommend them!

I've had four different moves for me and my aged parents from Orly. They are excellent movers. I have gone back to them time and again, for every move I've needed, from big whole household to smaller storage unit, because they've done such a good job. I have had them pack up a house or just move boxes I've packed already. The people in the office (Tom in particular) are courteous and forthcoming with information. He was very honest about the costs, and why things cost what they did. The movers themselves, including the head of the team (we had Calvin on this last move), and the guys who do the heavy lifting, are professional, polite and incredibly efficient. Everything arrived, on time and in good shape. You can hire cheaper movers, but you will get what you pay for.

I have moved a number of times in the past with professional movers. None of those moves went as smooth and perfect as this move with Orly went. - Nothing and i mean nothing arrived damaged; not even a scratch. - All of our possessions arrived in the same condition they were when loaded. - I was concerned with a long distance move that a mover would not guarantee a specific date and time for delivery. Orly's men loaded our possessions on Monday and delivered them Friday morning as promised and written in our contract. - there were no surprise charges. We paid what we agreed to. - Orly's crew was fantastic, honest, trustworthy, and very hard-working. Shout-out to Miguel and Mario or as i call him Super-Mario. Both were professional gentlemen and certainly are an asset for Orly Moving. - I would only use Orly Moving Systems for any future moves i may have. Moving is stressful and Orly does it's best to remove the stress of a move for it's customers. - I highly recommend Orly Moving for anyone needing professional movers.

I needed quick a move-out on my fathers Condo, and Orly did a wonderful job. Bonnie Greenwald was great to work with and answered all of my questions immediately. They were able to work within my limited schedule which was a key component to my choice of movers. I hired them to do the packing as well as moving. They were punctual, neat, courteous land got the job done quickly and efficiently ...... The packing of EVERYTHING in and of itself was amazing! I would use Orly again and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy mover.

This move was as close to perfect as possible. All movers were very professional and took great care with all items. I did not notice a single break or scratch on any item (and it should be noted that moving larger furniture out of the townhouse was certainly not an easy task). The entire process was very efficient and the cost even came in under the signed estimate. The communication from the Relocation Specialist both before and after the move was very excellent.
