Reid was very professional and was able to squeeze me into the schedule at lunch time. He was very helpful and fixed a problem with the mircowave and also provided me information on where I could buy parts in the future.

Reid was able to come during an off time, as he was nearby, and because when he asked what was wrong, he said the sooner he came the less overall trouble there would be as another part would potentially burn out. He had another part on his truck (thankfully), installed it, and then, because he kept hearing a weird noise elsewhere in the kitchen, he also fixed the trash compactor ($80- very fair). Before he left he checked that the refrigerator and compactor were both working. He is professional and knowledgeable and a nice guy too. I would highly recommend Raker and will do so to all my associates.

I highly recommend Raker Appliance Repair. They are efficient & skilled. In this case, my table top Breville oven replacement part cost half as much as a new one so I was advised to purchase a reconditioned or new oven. In a prior visit, RAKER Appliance adjusted the flame on my Montague Gas Stove which significantly improved its efficiency.

My oven wasn't lighting and there was a very strong smell of gas emanating from it. Mr. Raker quickly identified the issue and was able to clear it out in just a minute. Very competent and professional!

One of our gas burners wouldn't light, so I first called a different electrician. His charge just to look at it was $100. He couldn't get some hex-head threaded pieces to come out, so he couldn't remove the top. Said the igniter was probably bad, but all the parts have since been discontinued. He didn't think there was any hope to fix it, so he called the next day with the price to replace it. Almost $2,000. On the advice of a friend, I called Raker Appliance. Reed came out that afternoon, and with a little ingenuity was able to loosen the hex-head pieces. He had another appointment so he promised to come back Tuesday. Well, on Monday he had some time between appointments so he called and said he was coming out. We were so lucky to find him. He discovered that the igniter was fine, there was a cracked wire that was shorting out! A little bit of electrical tape and it was fixed! His price was extremely reasonable. He was professional, skilled, personable and creative! He saved us a lot of money, and I highly recommend Raker Appliance.

I was so pleased with Raker Appliance. I received excellent repair service as well as recommendations for maintaining both appliances. I would highly recommend this appliance repair company and would definitely use them in the future.

He was very punctual and communicated with me clearly on both occasions. What I did not like was the price. He said the part "was around $100" and charged me $285. I would have liked to have had an invoice for the part and a breakdown of the labor costs. It was during regular business hours and was in their service area, so there shouldn't have been any out of the ordinary charges.

Mr. Raker responded to my email service request the very next morning and set up a service call to diagnose the issue with our Electrolux wall oven. While here, the problem was diagnosed and the needed part was discussed. He set our expectation on the part order time frame and followed through on the promised date with the final service call to replace the broiler control board. We will use Raker Appliance again and will recommend this company to our friend and family.

I called in the morning to try and schedule an appt. for them to come out in the next few days. To my surprise, they were able to come to my house a few hours after I called. That was great news since the water line on my fridge was leaking into my basement until I found the shutoff valve. When they arrived they got right to work and got the leak fixed in no time. They cut out part of the screen that was sharp and cut the hose over years of use. I will be calling them again the next time I have any trouble with my fridge, or any other appliance.

It went great from the phone call to the arrival of Mr. Reid Raker promptly when he said he would arrive. He knew right off what was wrong and he had the part too. The work was done efficiently and quickly. Mr. Raker is so knowledgeable too and extremely courteous. Washer works great now.

I have a washing machine not working. I called John who is the only one who answers the phones. He said he could come install and repair the part , he knew what part just by just listening over the phone. He mentioned it would be about $200,labor time which would be factor into the new part. He installed the new part saying the old part had been arced. I believe he blew out circuit board. I asked him, he just ignored me. He took old part out. put new part in, which still doesn't work. I still don't know if he damage the circuit board, he said he would get back in touch. He then called me and asked me if I wanted to repair the service board if that was the problem. I said if not too expensive. He left his new part at my house in my washer. The warehouse doesn't make the part I need he would have to call manufacture which would be $400 for that repair , I thought it was too much money. I told him this and he hung up on me. I then decided and bought new wash machine. I called him to come get his new part out of my old washer because I am getting rid of it, and now he is not answering me . I called him and asked him to come get his part. he never answered him back. I left 3 messages. I called his cell and his voicemail. I feel like he is stalling and waiting for me to get into i dont want him to say i owe him anything. i offered

Great communication with the technician (including texting). Took extra time to educate us. Very thorough; hard to diagnose problem. Suck with it until it was resolved. Very pleasant to deal with; great attitude.

Great experience from start to finish. Initial trip was same day as contacted and problem was quickly diagnosed. Had to wait for part to be ordered-good communication about status. Very happy customer.

They're very good and excellent. John is the technician. He's excellent. He was reliable and he's fast. He came back and redid something based on what's missing at the first time. He's very professional. He's easy to work with.

I saw their truck in my neighborhood and notice the Angie's List sticker on it. After seeing the positive reviews here I reached out to them. After I described the problem we set up a time and he arrived as scheduled. He knew right away what the problem was and explained it to me. He then proceeded to effect the repairs and was completed in less than an hour. Very prompt, courteous, and professional. Even added a new component which should prevent a recurrence of this problem in the future. Highly recommend.

Great service. The provider was very polite and courteous. He unclogged the drain in our fridge and then repaired it so it would drain without freezing over. I would definitely use them again for repair work. I thought it was a tad pricey, but he did a great job and was very professional.

Great service. I called and left a message at approx. 9:05 and got a call back at 9:11. I explained the problem and the service tech said he was in the area and could be over to the house in 7 minutes. I said come right over. He examined the dryer, told me what was wrong ( heating element) and what the cost would be. He had the part on the truck and I gave the ok. He made the repair and was finished before 10:00. The tech was very professional and polite. The dryer is like new, working perfectly. I would recommend and be sure to call again with my next appliance repair.

We had a leak in our Samsung refrigerator that eventually caused frost build up and the cooling system to stop working. I called Raker Appliance based on the first several reviews I read. Reid answered and I asked if he did emergency service. He was even open to coming right at that moment to squeeze us in before other appointments. I was not home so he made arrangements to come later that afternoon. My husband was home to meet him and said he was very knowledgeable and professional. Our situation was only the second of it's kind he had seen and sounded determined to go to research it to understand why it was happening. Even if his fix hadn't worked, WHICH IT DID! we would use him again based on his punctuality and eagerness to solve the problem.
