About us

We have been repairing home appliances in the north Baltimore and Harford County area since 1968. Ours is a very personal father and son operation. We offer over the phone help where possible and advice on the best brands to purchase. From laundry appliances, such as washers and dryers, to kitchen appliances, such as fridges, ovens, icemakers, freezers, dishwashers, microwaves, and more. If you own it, odds are we’ve fixed it. If you have any questions or are ready to get a service call started, give us a call.

Services we offer

We repair all the major brands including front loaders and imports. We have the extensive resources needed to repair all the computerized models. We concentrate in Timonium, Cockeysville, Towson, Phoenix, Kingsville, Fallston, Bel Air and Baldwin areas.

Services we don't offer

We do not offer any factory warranty services. However, occasionally we direct customers to warranty coverage they were unaware of, such as 12 year Sub Zero sealed system repairs. We know the best warranty companies and are happy to refer you to them.

Description of Work: Reid Raker repaired my internally leaking refrigerator and my microwave that turned on when you opened the door. Both are working great. He said that if something went wrong with this repair to call him and I keep checking for leak and the refrigerator is DRY !!! Thanks, Reid !

Description of Work: Contacted the provider. Had an immediate response from Mr. Raker. He was VERY helpful and offered much information and was ready to come right away. Then, my husband remembered that we might have an extended warranty on our washer. When I checked, I found that indeed it was covered so we did not need Mr. Raker's service. However, he has been very helpful with directing me as to how to obtain a refund.

Description of Work: Our freezer is full of ice stalactites. Instead of only offering the repair that will cost hundreds, Rakers suggested an alternative solution that will require two days of turning off the unit, but something we can do at no cost first. It's nice to know that there are still companies that are actually looking for ways to save customers money instead of always trying to upsell. I will use this business again!

Description of Work: I have well water and it clogged a filter on my washing machine. Another company had said I would need a new timer, but the filter just needed to be unclogged. They showed me an easy way to do it. Within minutes, they had my washing machine working properly again. Very fair price.
